Highest number of qualifying candidates from UP; state-wise breakup here
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) results were declared on 13 June 2023 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to medical courses. As per the NEET UG results 2023, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of qualifying candidates whereas aspirants from Maharashtra appeared in NEET in large numbers.
This year, a total of 2,73,819 students appeared from Maharashtra, out of which 1,31,008 students qualified. On the other hand, 2,67,383 students from Uttar Pradesh appeared, of which 1,39,961 students cleared the medical entrance exam.
Overall the number of NEET registration increased from nearly 16 lakh last year to over 20 lakh this year. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the NEET UG counselling schedule on its official website.

NEET UG Cut Off 2023 increased for all categories; Check the major details inside
For students in the general categories, the NEET 2023 cut-off scores have risen this year. The NEET cut-off for students in the unreserved category has increased from 715–117 in the NEET UG result from previous year to 720–137 in the NEET UG result from 2023.
The cut-off score for the NTA NEET UG 2023 for medical candidates from reserved groups, such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), has increased from 116-93 last year to 136-107 this year.
The NEET cut-off for 2023 has also gone up for applicants who fall under the differently-abled OBC, SC, and ST categories. For applicants in the General category, the NEET MBBS/BDS cut-off for 2023 is 50, while it is 40 for OBC, SC, and ST students.

NEET UG Result 2023 has been released on the official website. Tamil Nadu’s Prabanjan J and Andhra Pradesh's Bora Varun Chakravarthi have both bagged All India Rank (AIR) 1 in NEET UG 2023 result. The toppers of NEET UG 2023 have scored perfect 720 marks with a 99.9 percentile score.
For admission to UG medical programmes under the all India quota (AIQ) seats and state-quota seats, applicants who meet the NEET 2023 cut-off will now need to participate in the NEET counselling process. For the seat allocation procedure to accept students to the medical programmes, the individual state counselling bodies would create a merit list. For admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, veterinary, BSC Nursing, and BSc Life Sciences degrees, NEET scores will be taken into consideration.

NEET UG Result 2023 is OUT now neet.nta.nic.in; Know how to check
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2023 result, which is available at neet.nta.nic.in. To download the NTA NEET UG 2023 scorecard, students who took the NEET UG 2023 exam must input their roll number, date of birth, and security pin.
The counselling for NEET 2023 will be handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). For admissions under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), deemed and central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMC will all participate in the first two rounds of counselling.
NEET UG Result 2023: Steps to check
1. Go to the official website- https://neet.nta.nic.in/
2. On the homepage, click on the tab ‘NEET 2023 Result’.
3. Enter the login credentials such as application number and password or date of birth.
4. NEET 2023 Result will appear on the screen.
5. Download and take a printout of the same for future use.
