Exam Pattern:
Technician/B & Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Preliminary Test) :
- The time allowed for the examination is 60 minutes.
- ‘3’ marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Subject-wise details of No. of questions and marks are as follows:
Mathematics: 20 questions-60 Marks
Science: 20 questions-60 Marks
General Awareness: 10 questions-30 Marks
Technician/B & Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Advanced Test) :
- Questions belong to their respective trade
- 50 Questions & The time allowed for the examination is 60 minutes.
Scientific Assistant & Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I (Preliminary Test):
- The time allowed for the examination is 60 minutes.
- ‘3’ marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The CBT exam will consist of 40 multiple choice questions
Scientific Assistant & Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I (Advanced Test):
- The time allowed for the examination is 60 minutes.
- The CBT exam will consist of 50 multiple choice questions
- ‘3’ marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Post Wise Educational Qualifications:
Technical Officer C : M.Sc., M.Lib., B.E. / B.Tech. from a recognized University / Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government with Minimum 60% Marks.
Scientific Assistant/B : Bachelor Degree in Science B.SC Food Technology/ Home Science / Nutrition with Minimum 60% Marks.
Technician/B : 10+2 with Second Class and Boiler Attendant Certificate
Stipendiary Trainee Category I : Degree / Diploma in Related Trade / Stream with Minimum 60% Marks.
Stipendiary Trainee Category II :
- Class 10th with Science / Math Minimum 60% Marks and ITI Certificate in Related Trade /
- 10+2 Intermediate with 60% Marks (Post Wise)
Age limit:
- Candidate must have been born not earlier than 23/05/1988 and not later than 22/05/2005.

- Stipendiary Trainee Category II : 18-22 Years
