Scheme of Examination:
- The questions will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
- There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
- The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
1. Mathematics: (Code 01) 2.5 hours -300 Marks
2. General Ability Test: (Code 02) 2.5 hours -600 Marks
3. SSB Test / Interview: 900

Educational Qualifications:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Age limit:
• Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2005 and not later than 1st July, 2008 are eligible.
• Age Relaxation Extra as per NDA I Exam 2024 Rules.
Documents Required:
• Applications must be submitted only in online mode by using the website upsconline.nic.in.
• Scanned images of the latest Photograph & Signature in the .jpg format in such a manner that each file should not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than 20 KB.
