1.Warehousing Development Regulatory Authority (WDRA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with State Bank of India to help farmers in getting low interest rate loans. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the intent of promoting awareness about the new loan product called 'Produce Marketing Loan' to exclusively fund against e-NWRs (electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipt) with features such as nil processing fee, no additional collateral and attractive interest rates.

Ø वेयरहाउसिंग डेवलपमेंट रेगुलेटरी अथॉरिटी (WDRA) ने किसानों को कम ब्याज दर पर ऋण प्राप्त करने में सहायता करने के लिए भारतीय स्टेट बैंक के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। ई-एनडब्ल्यूआर (इलेक्ट्रॉनिक नेगोशिएबल वेयरहाउस रिसीप्ट) के सन्दर्भ में विशेष रूप से निधि देने के लिए 'उत्पादन विपणन ऋण' नामक नए ऋण उत्पाद के बारे में जागरूकता को प्रोत्साहन देने के आशय से इस समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किया गया है, जिसमें शून्य प्रसंस्करण शुल्क या कोई अतिरिक्त शुल्क जैसी व्यवस्था नहीं है, और साथ ही आकर्षक ब्याज दरें उपलब्ध हैं।

2. Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the top destination for mobile gamers, followed by Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar and West Bengal, according to India Mobile Gaming Report 2022 by gaming platform Mobile Premier League released. Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Himachal Pradesh have seen the highest increase in mobile gamers in 2022 compared to 2021.

Ø गेमिंग प्लेटफॉर्म मोबाइल प्रीमियर लीग द्वारा जारी इंडिया मोबाइल गेमिंग रिपोर्ट 2022 के अनुसार, उत्तर प्रदेश मोबाइल गेमर्स के लिए शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त किया है और इसके बाद महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान, बिहार और पश्चिम बंगाल का स्थान है। वर्ष 2021 की तुलना में, वर्ष 2022 में ओडिशा, पंजाब, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी और हिमाचल प्रदेश में मोबाइल गेमर्स में सबसे अधिक वृद्धि देखी गई है।

3.The National Commission for Women (NCW) organized an ‘All India Nodal Officers Meeting on Acid Attack’ to deliberate, discuss, and share suggestions to resolve the issues regarding sale and purchase of acid and other corrosive substances, compensation for survivors, treatment and rehabilitation of survivors, among other topics. The meeting was attended by 23 Nodal Officers and representatives from States across India.

Ø राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (एनसीडब्ल्यू) ने एसिड एवं अन्य संक्षारक पदार्थों की खरीद-बिक्री, जीवित बचे लोगों को मुआवजा देने, उनके उपचार और पुनर्वास, इत्‍यादि से संबंधित मुद्दों को सुलझाने हेतु विचार-विमर्श एवं चर्चाएं करने और संबंधित सुझावों को साझा करने के लिए ‘एसिड अटैक पर अखिल भारतीय नोडल अधिकारियों की बैठक’ आयोजित की है। इस बैठक में 23 नोडल अधिकारियों और देश के सभी राज्यों के प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया था। 

4. January 19 is celebrated by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) as its raising day. The National Disaster Response Force Raising Day has been celebrated on this day since 2006 when the rescue force was officially formed. The specialised, multi-skilled rescue force is made up of battalions from the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Assam Rifles.

Ø राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल (NDRF) द्वारा 19 जनवरी को स्थापना दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल स्थापना दिवस वर्ष 2006 से मनाया जा रहा है, क्योंकि इस दिन बचाव बल का आधिकारिक रूप से गठन किया गया था। विशिष्ट, बहु-कुशल बचाव बल में सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF), केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (CRPF), केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (CISF), भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (ITBP), सशस्त्र सीमा बल (एसएसबी) और असम राइफल्स के बटालियन शामिल हैं।

5.Shubhman Gill; who scored his first double century in One-Day Internationals against New Zealand in Hyderabad, became the quickest Indian to score 1,000 runs in ODI cricket in terms of innings. The record for reaching the 1,000 runs mark by an Indian was jointly held by former skipper Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. Gill brought his third ODI ton in just 87 balls, and went on to score his first double century in ODIs in 145 balls.

Ø शुभमन गिल; जिन्होंने हैदराबाद में न्यूजीलैंड के विरुद्ध पहले एकदिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैच में अपना पहला दोहरा शतक बनाया, ने पारी के अनुसार एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट में सबसे तेज 1,000 रन बनाने वाले भारतीय बन गए हैं। एक भारतीय क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी द्वारा 1,000 रनों के आंकड़े तक पहुंचने का रिकॉर्ड संयुक्त रूप से पूर्व कप्तान विराट कोहली और शिखर धवन के नाम था। गिल ने सिर्फ 87 गेंदों में अपना तीसरा एकदिवसीय शतक बनाया है और उन्होंने 145 गेंदों में वनडे में अपना पहला दोहरा शतक बनाया है।

6.Leading scientist and former director of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) A D Damodaran died recently. He was 87. Damodharan was a nuclear scientist and he also served as the Chairman of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment.  Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled the death and said the country has lost a scientist known for his expertise in nuclear science.

Ø प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक और वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (CSIR) के पूर्व निदेशक ए डी दामोदरन का हाल ही में निधन हो गया है। वह 87 वर्ष के थे। दामोदरन, परमाणु वैज्ञानिक थे और इसके साथ ही वह विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और पर्यावरण के लिए केरल राज्य परिषद के अध्यक्ष के रूप में भी कार्य किया था। केरल के मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन ने निधन पर शोक व्यक्त किया और कहा कि देश ने एक ऐसे वैज्ञानिक को खो दिया है; जो परमाणु विज्ञान में अपनी विशेषज्ञता के लिए जाना जाता है।

7.PARAKH has been launched as part of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 that envisaged a standard-setting body to advise school boards regarding new assessment patterns and latest research, and promote collaborations between them. The National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) has notified India’s first national assessment regulator, PARAKH, which will work on setting norms, standards and guidelines for student assessment and evaluation for all recognised school boards in the country.

Ø परख को राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (एनईपी)-2020 के कार्यान्वयन के अंतर्गत लॉन्च किया गया है, जिसमें नए मूल्यांकन पैटर्न और नवीनतम शोध के बारे में स्कूल बोर्डों को सलाह देने और उनके बीच सहयोग को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए एक मानक-सेटिंग निकाय की परिकल्पना की गई है। नेशनल काउंसिल फॉर एजुकेशन रिसर्च एंड ट्रेनिंग (NCERT) ने भारत के पहले राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन नियामक, PARAKH को अधिसूचित किया है; जो देश में सभी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल बोर्डों के लिए छात्र मूल्यांकन और मूल्यांकन के लिए मानदंड, मानक और दिशा-निर्देश निर्धारित करने पर कार्य करेगा।

8. Kollam has become India’s first Constitution-literate district. This accomplishment was achieved through The Citizen, a Constitution literacy campaign jointly launched by the Kollam district panchayat, District Planning Committee and Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA). The objective of the campaign was to create awareness about various aspects of the country’s laws and citizen rights. According to reports, around 16.3 lakh people, are above ten years of age. They were educated by 2,200 trainers called ‘senators’, who visited schools, offices, auto stands and tribal areas to create awareness.

Ø कोल्लम; भारत का पहला संविधान-साक्षर जिला बन गया है। यह उपलब्धि कोल्लम जिला पंचायत, जिला योजना समिति और केरल स्थानीय प्रशासन संस्थान (KILA) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से प्रारम्भ किए गए एक संविधान साक्षरता अभियान, द सिटिजन के माध्यम से प्राप्त की गई है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य देश के कानूनों और नागरिक अधिकारों के विभिन्न पहलुओं के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, लगभग 16.3 लाख लोग दस वर्ष से आधिक आयु के हैं। उन्हें 2,200 प्रशिक्षकों द्वारा शिक्षित किया गया है, जिन्हें 'सीनेटर' कहा जाता है। प्रशिक्षकों ने जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए स्कूलों, कार्यालयों, ऑटो स्टैंड और जनजातीय क्षेत्रों का दौरा किया था।

9.Paytm Payments Bank has received final approval from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit (BBPOU). Under Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), a BBPOU is allowed to facilitate bill payment services of electricity, phone etc. BBPS is owned by the National Payments Corporation of India. Through the Paytm app, users can make convenient payments for their bills and benefit from automatic payment and reminder service.

Ø पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक को भारत बिल पेमेंट ऑपरेटिंग यूनिट (बीबीपीओयू) के रूप में काम करने के लिए भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक से अंतिम स्वीकृति प्राप्त हो गई है। भारत बिल भुगतान प्रणाली (बीबीपीएस) के अंतर्गत, बीबीपीओयू को बिजली, फोन आदि की बिल भुगतान सेवाओं की सुविधा प्रदान करने की अनुमति है। BBPS का स्वामित्व भारतीय राष्ट्रीय भुगतान निगम के पास है। पेटीएम ऐप के माध्यम से, उपयोगकर्ता अपने बिलों का सुविधाजनक भुगतान कर सकते हैं और स्वचालित भुगतान और रिमाइंडर सेवा का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

10.The Ministry of Tourism is organizing the 1st Global Tourism Investors Summit from 10th to 12th April 2023 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The aim of the summit is to bring together global business leaders, and policymakers to understand and explore Tourism Business opportunities in India. In this regard, Ministry of Tourism organized a Roadshow for the Northern region yesterday in Chandigarh.

Ø पर्यटन मंत्रालय 10 से 12 अप्रैल 2023 तक नई दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान में पहले वैश्विक पर्यटन निवेशक शिखर सम्मेलन का आयोजन करने जा रहा है। इस शिखर सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य भारत में पर्यटन व्यवसाय के अवसरों को समझने और तलाशने के लिए वैश्विक व्यापार जगत के नेताओं और नीति निर्माताओं को एक साथ एक मंच पर लाना है। इस संबंध में पर्यटन मंत्रालय ने चंडीगढ़ में उत्तरी क्षेत्र के लिए एक रोड शो आयोजित किया था।
