National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his US counterpart Jake Sullivan formally launched the US-India initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET) in Washington. The United States and India concluded the US-India iCET meeting and also decided to launch a new Innovation Bridge. ‘iCET’ was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Biden. It reflects India US convention of strategic, commercial & scientific approaches in the field of technology.
राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोभाल और उनके अमेरिकी समकक्ष जेक सुलिवन ने औपचारिक रूप से वाशिंगटन में क्रिटिकल एंड इमर्जिंग टेक्नोलॉजी (iCET) पर यूएस-भारत पहल प्रारम्भ किया है। संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और भारत ने यूएस-इंडिया iCET बैठक का समापन किया और एक नया इनोवेशन ब्रिज लॉन्च करने का भी निर्णय लिया है। 'आईसीईटी' की घोषणा; प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और राष्ट्रपति बाइडेन द्वारा की गई थी। यह प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में रणनीतिक, वाणिज्यिक और वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण के भारत-अमेरिकी सहयोग को दर्शाता है।
Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt gave away awards and prizes related to the Republic Day 2023 in New Delhi on 31st Jan 2023. The tableau of Uttrakhand, based on the theme ‘Manaskhand’, was given away the best tableau award among the 17 states or union territories tableaux. Tableau of Maharashtra was given the second and Tableau of Uttar Pradesh got the third best tableau award.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the Ladli Bahna Yojana for financially weak women. The scheme for married and unmarried will guarantee Rs 1,000 monthly to all such women. This scheme will raise the importance of daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law in the family.
मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर महिलाओं के लिए लाड़ली बहना योजना की घोषणा की है। विवाहित और अविवाहितों के लिए यह योजना, सभी महिलाओं को 1,000 रुपये मासिक गारंटी प्रदान करेगी। यह योजना परिवार में बेटियों, माताओं, बहू और सास के महत्व में वृद्धि करेगी।
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is celebrating its 47th Raising Day on 1st February 2023. From a modest beginning with just seven surface platforms in 1978, the ICG today has 158 ships and 78 aircraft. The ICG was formally established on February 1, 1977, by the Coast Guard Act, 1978 of the Parliament of India. It operates under the Ministry of Defence.
भारतीय तट रक्षक (आईसीजी) 1 फरवरी 2023 को अपना 47वां स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है। वर्ष 1978 में केवल सात सतही प्लेटफार्मों के साथ एक सामान्य शुरुआत से, आईसीजी के पास आज 158 जहाज और 78 विमान हैं और 200 के लक्षित बल स्तर को प्राप्त करने की संभावना है। आईसीजी औपचारिक रूप से 1 फरवरी, 1977 को भारत की संसद के तटरक्षक अधिनियम, 1978 द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था। यह रक्षा मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत कार्य करता है।
Minister of Tourism G. Kishan Reddy launched the Visit India Year - 2023 initiative and also unveiled its logo in New Delhi, kicking off the year of grand plans and activities for promoting tourism in the country. Launch of the Visit India Year 2023 logo is taking place in this important year as India is heading G20. More than one lakh foreign delegates will visit India this year and they will be showcased the entire gamut of India's culture, including monuments and festivals.

A meeting of the Quad Senior Cyber Group was held in New Delhi to strengthen cyber security cooperation. The Quad Senior Cyber Group Principals, along with their inter-agency delegations, met in New Delhi to discuss collective approach to enhance the cybersecurity cooperation and resilience. Cybersecurity is one of the key areas identified by the Quad Leaders in advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Festival came to a close in Mumbai. This edition was the biggest ever SCO Film Festival, with 58 films from 14 countries being showcased. The closing ceremony saw the winners being declared for the various competition categories. Lyricist and Chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Prasoon Joshi and celebrities from the film industry were in attendance.
मुंबई में शंघाई कोऑपरेशन ऑर्गनाइजेशन (एससीओ) फिल्म फेस्टिवल का समापन हुआ। यह संस्करण अब तक का सबसे बड़ा एससीओ फिल्म महोत्सव था, जिसमें 14 देशों की 58 फिल्मों का प्रदर्शन किया गया था। इस समापन समारोह में विभिन्न प्रतियोगिता श्रेणियों के लिए विजेताओं की घोषणा की गई थी। केंद्रीय फिल्म प्रमाणन बोर्ड (सीबीएफसी) के गीतकार और अध्यक्ष प्रसून जोशी और फिल्म उद्योग की इस समारोह में हस्तियां उपस्थित थीं।
Science 20 Inception Meeting was held at Puducherry. Scientists from 10 countries of G20 along with scientists from India's Premier Science Institutions participated in the deliberations. Dr. G. Rangarajan, Director, Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru welcomed the gathering. India is deeply committed to furthering scientific research, education and innovation both within our own borders and beyond them through strong partnerships and multilateral collaborations. Invited scientists presented views and recommendations. The deliberations were conducted in six sessions.
साइंस 20 इन्सेप्सन बैठक पुडुचेरी में आयोजित की गई है। जी20 के 10 देशों के वैज्ञानिकों के साथ-साथ भारत के प्रमुख विज्ञान संस्थानों के वैज्ञानिकों ने विचार-विमर्श में भाग लिया। डॉ. जी. रंगराजन, निदेशक, भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान, बेंगलुरु ने सभा का स्वागत किया। भारत अपनी सीमाओं के भीतर और उनके बाहर मजबूत साझेदारी और बहुपक्षीय सहयोग के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान, शिक्षा और नवाचार को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए गहराई से प्रतिबद्ध है। इसमें आमंत्रित वैज्ञानिकों ने विचार और सिफारिशें प्रस्तुत कीं। इसके अंतर्गत विचार-विमर्श छह सत्रों में आयोजित किया गया था।
Senior advocate and former Law Minister Shanti Bhushan passed away. He was 97. Bhushan served as India's law minister from 1977 to 1979 in the Morarji Desai cabinet. He was best known for successfully arguing for setting aside the election of Indira Gandhi in 1975. Bhushan represented politician Raj Narain in the historic case against Indira Gandhi. The eminent jurist was also a founding member of the Aam Aadmi Party which he later quit.
वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता और पूर्व कानून मंत्री शांति भूषण का निधन हो गया है। वह 97 वर्ष के थे। भूषण ने मोरारजी देसाई कैबिनेट में वर्ष 1977 से 1979 तक भारत के कानून मंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया था। उन्हें, वर्ष 1975 में इंदिरा गांधी के चुनाव को रद्द करने के लिए सफलतापूर्वक बहस करने के लिए जाना जाता था। भूषण ने इंदिरा गांधी के विरुद्ध ऐतिहासिक मामले में राजनेता राजनारायण का प्रतिनिधित्व किया था। प्रख्यात न्यायविद भूषण आम आदमी पार्टी के संस्थापक सदस्य थे, जिसे उन्होंने बाद में छोड़ दिया था।
The First Employment Working Group meeting of G20 summit will be held in Jodhpur in Rajasthan from 2nd to 4th February. During the meeting, three thematic areas will be discussed. These include addressing the Global Skill Gaps, Gig and Platform Economy and Social Protection and Sustainable Financing of Social Security. India is hosting over 73 delegates from 19 countries, European Union and 9 guest countries and 9 regional and international organisations.
जी20 शिखर सम्मेलन की पहली रोजगार कार्य समूह की बैठक 2 से 4 फरवरी तक राजस्थान के जोधपुर में आयोजित की जाएगी। इस बैठक के दौरान, तीन विषयगत क्षेत्रों पर चर्चा की जाएगी। इनमें ग्लोबल स्किल गैप्स, गिग एंड प्लेटफॉर्म इकोनॉमी और सोशल प्रोटेक्शन एंड सस्टेनेबल फाइनेंसिंग ऑफ सोशल सिक्योरिटी शामिल हैं। भारत; 19 देशों, यूरोपीय संघ और 9 अतिथि देशों और 9 क्षेत्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के 73 से अधिक प्रतिनिधियों की मेजबानी कर रहा है।
