The 47th Civil Accounts Day will be celebrated on 01st March to mark the foundation of Indian Civil Accounts Service. The Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) was constituted in 1976, to separate the maintenance of accounts of the Union Government from audit. Consequently, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India was divested with this responsibility.
47वां सिविल लेखा दिवस 01मार्च को मनाया जाएगा। इसी दिन भारतीय सिविल लेखा सेवा की स्थापना की गई थी। भारतीय सिविल लेखा सेवा (आईसीएएस) का गठन, वर्ष 1976 में केंद्र सरकार के खातों के रख-रखाव को लेखा परीक्षा से अलग करने के लिए किया गया था। परिणामस्वरुप, भारत के नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक को इस उत्तरदायित्व से मुक्त कर दिया गया था।

In the ceremony held at Mobile World Congress Barcelona, GSM Association (GSMA) has conferred Government Leadership Award 2023 to India for implementing best practices in telecom policy and regulation. GSMA, which represents more than 750 mobile operators and 400 companies in the telecom ecosystem, recognizes one country every year.

MV Ganga Vilas makes history in India’s River Cruise sector; completes maiden journey; covering a distance of over 3200 kms, at Dibrugarh. 50 days cruise was flagged off from Varanasi by PM Shri Narendra Modi on Jan 13. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal accorded a warm welcome to all the 28 foreign tourists travelling onboard.
डिब्रूगढ़ में पहुँचने के साथ ही एमवी गंगा विलास ने भारत के रिवर क्रूज सेक्टर में इतिहास रच दिया है। कुल 3200 किलोमीटर से अधिक की दूरी तय करते हुए इसने अपनी पहली यात्रा पूरी की है। पीएम श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 13 जनवरी को वाराणसी से 50 दिनों तक यात्रा करने वाले इस क्रूज को हरी झंडी दिखाई थी। केंद्रीय मंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने जहाज पर यात्रा करने वाले सभी 28 विदेशी पर्यटकों का उत्साहपूर्वक से स्वागत किया।
