1.Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will inaugurate the India Chem 2022 on 2nd November 2022 in New Delhi with the theme “Vision 2030: Chemicals and Petrochemicals Build India”.  Department is organizing the 12th edition of INDIA CHEM in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Ø  केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण और रसायन एवं उर्वरक मंत्री डॉ. मनसुख मांडविया 2 नवंबर 2022 को नई दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान में "विजन 2030: केमिकल्स एंड पेट्रोकेमिकल्स बिल्ड इंडिया" विषय के साथ 'इंडिया केम 2022' का उद्घाटन करेंगे। मंत्रालय का सम्बंधित विभाग, फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (फिक्की) के सहयोग से इंडिया केम के 12वें संस्करण का आयोजन कर रहा है।

2. In an effort to raise awareness, conserve and use water resources in an integrated manner, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India is organizing the 7th edition of India Water Week (IWW) from 1st to 5th November. The theme of 7th India Water Week is “Water Security for Sustainable Development and Equity”.

Ø  जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा संरक्षण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा जल संसाधनों के संरक्षण और उनके एकीकृत उपयोग के प्रयासों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए 1 से 5 नवंबर तक भारत जल सप्ताह (आईडब्‍ल्‍यूडब्‍ल्‍यू) के 7वें संस्करण का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। 7वें भारत जल सप्ताह का विषय "सतत विकास और समानता के लिए जल सुरक्षा" है। यह पांच दिवसीय कार्यक्रम दुनिया भर के विशेषज्ञों, योजनाकारों और हितधारकों को एक मंच पर लाएगा।

3. World Vegan Day is celebrated every year on November 1 to encourage people to follow the vegan lifestyle and spread awareness about veganism. This day was celebrated since November 1, 1994. According to World Vegan Day, this year’s theme will be based on the animal rights-focused campaign ‘Future Normal’.

Ø  लोगों को शाकाहारी जीवन शैली का पालन करने और शाकाहार के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से प्रत्येक वर्ष 1 नवंबर को विश्व शाकाहारी दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन 1 नवंबर, 1994 से मनाया जा रहा है। विश्व शाकाहारी दिवस के अंतर्गत इस वर्ष की थीम पशु अधिकार केंद्रित अभियान 'फ्यूचर नॉर्मल' पर आधारित होगी।

4. Mawmluh Cave in Sohra, located in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, has been listed among the first 100 International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) geological heritage sites. IUGS is one of the largest scientific organisations of UNESCO. The full list of the ‘First 100 IUGS Geological Sites’ will be presented at the IUGS’s 60th anniversary event, which will take place in Zumaia, Spain.

Ø  मेघालय के पूर्वी खासी पहाड़ी जिले में स्थित सोहरा में मावमलुह गुफा को, पहले 100 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भूवैज्ञानिक विज्ञान संघ (IUGS) भूवैज्ञानिक विरासत स्थलों में सूचीबद्ध किया गया है। आईयूजीएस, यूनेस्को के सबसे बड़े वैज्ञानिक संगठनों में से एक है। 'पहले 100 IUGS भूवैज्ञानिक स्थलों' की पूरी सूची IUGS की 60वीं वर्षगांठ के कार्यक्रम में प्रस्तुत की जाएगी, जो स्पेन के जुमैया में आयोजित होगी।

5. The 21st Meeting of the Heads of Government of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be held in a virtual format today. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will represent India in the meeting. The SCO CHG meeting held annually focuses on the trade and economic agenda of the Organization and approves its annual budget.

Ø  शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) के सदस्य देशों के शासनाध्यक्षों की 21वीं बैठक वर्चुअल फॉर्मेट में आयोजित की जाएगी। विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर बैठक में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। वार्षिक रूप से आयोजित होने वाली एससीओ सीएचजी बैठक, संगठन के व्यापार और आर्थिक एजेंडे पर केंद्रित है और इसके वार्षिक बजट को स्वीकृति प्रदान करती है।

6. Former chairman of ISRO K. Sivan -- known for his contribution to the Chandrayaan project -- actors Avinash, Sihi Kahi Chandru and writers A.R. Mitra and Krishne Gowda are among the 67 achievers, who have been selected for the 67th Rajyotsava award, which was announced by the State government. On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 10 organisations, including Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, have also been selected for the award.

Ø  इसरो के पूर्व अध्यक्ष के. सिवन, अभिनेता अविनाश, सीही कही चंद्रू और लेखक ए.आर. मित्रा और कृष्ण गौड़ा को कर्नाटक के 67वें राज्योत्सव पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया है, जिसके सम्बन्ध में राज्य सरकार ने हाल ही में घोषणा की है। आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के अवसर पर, श्री रामकृष्ण आश्रम, मैसूर सहित 10 संगठनों को भी राज्योत्सव पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया है।

7. Spain won the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a 1-0 victory over first-time finalists Colombia whose campaign ended in a heartbreak after an own goal in the summit clash. FIFA president Gianni Infantino, alongside top officials from the Asian Football Federation (AFC) and All India Football Federation (AIFF), was in attendance at the venue as Spain eked out a solitary goal win and retained the title, they also claimed in 2018.

Ø  स्पेन ने फीफा अंडर-17 महिला विश्व कप में पहली बार फाइनल में पहुंची कोलंबिया पर 1-0 से जीत हासिल की है। फीफा अध्यक्ष जियानी इन्फेंटिनो, एशियाई फुटबॉल महासंघ (एएफसी) और अखिल भारतीय फुटबॉल महासंघ (एआईएफएफ) के शीर्ष अधिकारियों के साथ, आयोजन स्थल पर उपस्थित थे और इस दौरान स्पेन ने एक एकल गोल जीत हासिल की और खिताब को बरकरार रखा जिसे उन्होंने 2018 में भी प्राप्त किया था।

8. India's first Digital Rupee pilot project will commence on 01st November. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will launch the pilot for a central-bank-backed digital rupee for the wholesale segment. It also announced that the first pilot in Digital Rupee - Retail segment is planned for launch within a month in select locations in closed user groups comprising customers and merchants.

Ø  भारत का पहला डिजिटल रुपया पायलट प्रोजेक्ट 01 नवंबर से प्रारम्भ होगा। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI), थोक-विक्रय के लिए केंद्रीय-बैंक समर्थित डिजिटल रुपये के लिए यह पायलट परियोजना लॉन्च करेगा। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने यह भी घोषणा की है कि डिजिटल रुपया-रिटेल सेगमेंट में पहली पायलट परियोजना; जो  ग्राहकों और व्यापारियों वाले निकट-उपयोगकर्ता समूहों में संचालित होगी, चुनिंदा स्थानों में एक माह के भीतर लॉन्च की जाएगी।

9. Two-time champions India defeated Australia 5-4 in a nail-biting penalty shootout to reclaim the Sultan of Johor Cup crown. The Indians have won the age group tournament twice — 2013 and 2014 — and finished second best four times in 2012, 2015, 2018 and the last edition of the event in 2019. The tournament was not held in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ø  दो बार के चैंपियन रह चुकी भारतीय टीम ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 5-4 से हराकर सुल्तान ऑफ जोहोर कप का खिताब अपने नाम किया है।  भारतीयों ने दो बार; वर्ष 2013 और 2014 में, आयु-वर्ग टूर्नामेंट जीता है और चार बार; वर्ष 2012, 2015, 2018 और 2019 में हुए इस आयोजन के अंतिम संस्करण में दूसरे स्थान पर रहे थे। यह टूर्नामेंट 2020 और 2021 में COVID-19 महामारी के कारण आयोजित नहीं किया गया था।

10. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh dedicated to the nation 75 infrastructure projects including bridges, roads and helipads built at a cost of Rs 2,180 crore in strategically key areas of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim among others. The highlight of the event was the onsite inauguration of 120-metre-long 'class-70 Shyok Setu' on the DS-DBO Road at an altitude 14,000 feet.

Ø  रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने लद्दाख, जम्मू और कश्मीर, अरुणाचल प्रदेश और सिक्किम के रणनीतिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में 2,180 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से निर्मित पुलों, सड़कों और हेलीपैड सहित 75 आधारभूत ढांचा परियोजनाओं को राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया है। इस आयोजन का मुख्य आकर्षण डीएस-डीबीओ रोड पर 14,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर 120 मीटर लंबे 'क्लास -70 श्योक सेतु' का उद्घाटन था।
