The Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Railways, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated AMRITPEX 2023 - National Philatelic Exhibition. AMRITPEX 2023 has a number of workshops, panel discussions and cultural programs highlighting the culture and heritage of India. 

The 9th International Chefs Conference, organized by the Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA) and supported by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, started off in New Delhi.  To celebrate the enthusiasm of the ongoing International Year of Millets 2023, this year, the ‘nutri-cereal’- Millets has taken Center-Stage at the three-day culinary extravaganza. 

Celebrated every year on February 11, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is observed by the United Nation to promote the full and equal access and participation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. It will be the eighth International Day of Women and Girls in Science and the theme is IDEAS (Innovate, Demonstrate, Elevate, Advance, Sustain). 

The National Deworming Day is observed on February 10 every year. It is an initiative taken by the Government of India to deworm all the children across the nation in the age group of 1 to 19. Worms are parasites, which live in human intestines for food and survival. The worms consume nutrients meant for the human body and cause blood loss, poor nutrition.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma created history as he became the first Indian skipper to score centuries in all three formats of the game. By scoring his first Test century against Australia on Day 2 of the first Test of the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Test series, Rohit entered his name in the history books.  

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu 8 laid the foundation stone of 'Himachal Niketan' which will provide accommodation facilities to the students and residents of Himachal Pradesh visiting New Delhi. 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank launched Hello Ujjivan, India's first mobile banking application with 3 V's - voice, visual, vernacular-enabled features - to provide banking access to individuals who have limited reading and writing skills. 

Ramesh Bais was appointed the new Governor of Maharashtra. Also, Lakshman Prasad Acharya, C P Radhakrishnan, Shiv Pratap Shukla and Gulab Chand Kataria were nominated as Governors in Sikkim, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Assam respectively. Retired Supreme Court judge Nazeer and Lt Gen K T Parnaik (retd) were appointed as governor of Andhra Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh respectively.

Meta, announced its partnership with the ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY) for the G20 stay safe online campaign. Moreover, Meta has also launched its #DigitalSuraksha campaign to build on the company’s efforts to offer a safer and more inclusive internet to everyone.

The Uttar Pradesh government has finally launched the portal for creation of 'Family ID - One Family One Identity', to identify families as a unit for implementing the 'one job per family' proposal. All such families that are not eligible for the National Food Security Scheme will be able to avail the ID, while the ration card ID of the families having it, will be considered as their family ID.
