1. The Odisha government is observing 10th November 2022 as ‘Millet Day’ in the state. The day is chosen according to the Hindu calendar, the 1st thursday of margasira month. The primary aim of celebrating the day is to promote millets as a highly nutritive and eco-friendly food product. To create domestic and global demand and to provide nutritional food to the people, government of India proposed to the United Nations and the year 2023 is declared as the International Year of Millets.

Ø ओडिशा सरकार, राज्य में 10 नवंबर 2022 को 'बाजरा दिवस' के रूप में मना रही है। इस  दिन को हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार मार्गशीर्ष माह के पहले बृहस्पतिवार को निर्धारित किया जाता है। इस दिवस को मनाने का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य बाजरा को अत्यधिक पोषक और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल खाद्य उत्पाद के रूप में बढ़ावा देना है। घरेलू और वैश्विक मांग पैदा करने और लोगों को पोषण आहार उपलब्ध कराने के लिए भारत सरकार ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ को प्रस्ताव दिया और वर्ष 2023 को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजरा वर्ष घोषित किया गया।

2.  Reliance Jio announced the Beta trial of its True 5G services in October in six cities. The telecom operator has now expanded the reach of Jio True 5G by launching the service in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The company claims that with Jio True 5G, the Jio users can experience speeds between 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps on their smartphones. As part of the offer, the Jio True 5G users in the two cities can experience Unlimited Data at up to 1Gbps+ speed, at no additional costs.

Ø Reliance Jio ने अक्टूबर में छह शहरों में अपनी True 5G सेवाओं के बीटा परीक्षण की घोषणा की है। टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर ने अब बेंगलुरु और हैदराबाद में सेवा प्रारम्भ करके Jio True 5G की पहुंच का विस्तार किया है। कंपनी के अनुसार, Jio True 5G के साथ, Jio उपयोगकर्ता अपने स्मार्टफ़ोन पर 500 एमबीपीएस से 1 जीबीपीएस के बीच की गति का अनुभव कर सकते हैं। ऑफ़र के हिस्से के रूप में, दो शहरों में Jio True 5G उपयोगकर्ता बिना किसी अतिरिक्त लागत के 1Gbps + की गति से असीमित डेटा का अनुभव कर सकते हैं।

3.     Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two much-awaited trains from Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in Bengaluru on November 11 — south India’s first Vande Bharat Express between Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru, and Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan train. The Vande Bharat Express is part of the 75 such trains expected to be running all across India by the end of 2023.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 11 नवंबर को बेंगलुरु में क्रांतिवीर सांगोली रायन्ना रेलवे स्टेशन से दो बहुप्रतीक्षित ट्रेनों; बेंगलुरु से होते हुए मैसूर और चेन्नई के बीच दक्षिण भारत की पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस, और भारत गौरव काशी दर्शन ट्रेन, को हरी झंडी दिखाई है। वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस उन 75 ट्रेनों का हिस्सा है, जिनके वर्ष 2023 के अंत तक पूरे भारत में चलने की उम्मीद है।

4. World Usability Day 2022 is observed on the second Thursday of November and this year it will fall on November 10. The purpose of the day is to raise standards so that technology works to harness human potential. The event brings communities together to celebrate how we can make our world easier for all.  The theme for World Usability Day 2022 is "Our Health".

Ø विश्व उपयोगिता दिवस 2022 नवंबर के दूसरे गुरुवार को मनाया जाता है और इस वर्ष यह 10 नवंबर को मनाया जाएगा। इस दिन का उद्देश्य मानकों को उत्कृष्ट स्तर पर ले जाना है, जिससे कि प्रौद्योगिकी, मानव-क्षमता के महत्तम उपयोग के लिए कार्य कर सके। यह आयोजन सभी समुदायों को एक साथ लाता है, जिससे कि हम अपने विश्व को सभी के लिए सुलभ बना सकें। विश्व उपयोगिता दिवस 2022 का विषय "हमारा स्वास्थ्य" है।

5. Recently, writers Madhu Kankariya, Madhav Hada awarded the Bihari Puraskar. The Bihari Puraskar is one of the three literary awards instituted by KK Birla Foundation in 1991. Named after the famous poet Bihari, the award for Rajasthani authors carries a cash prize of ₹2.5 lakh, a plaque and a citation. Noted writers Madhu Kankariya and Dr Madhav Hada on Wednesday were awarded the 31st and 32nd Bihari Puraskar, respectively.

Ø हाल ही में, लेखक मधु कांकरिया, माधव हाड़ा को बिहारी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। बिहारी पुरस्कार 1991 में केके बिड़ला फाउंडेशन द्वारा स्थापित तीन साहित्यिक पुरस्कारों में से एक है। प्रसिद्ध कवि बिहारी के नाम पर, राजस्थानी लेखकों के लिए पुरस्कार में 2.5 लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार, एक पट्टिका और एक प्रशस्ति पत्र दिया जाता है। प्रख्यात लेखक मधु कांकरिया और डॉ. माधव हाडा को बुधवार को क्रमशः 31वें और 32वें बिहारी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।

6.     World Pneumonia day is observed every year on November 12 to spread awareness and educate people to combat this disease. It is a global event to educate people about the causes and preventions of pneumonia and increase awareness in society. Pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection that affects the lungs and is the single largest infectious cause of death in children worldwide.

Ø विश्व निमोनिया दिवस, प्रत्येक वर्ष 12 नवंबर को लोगों को इस बीमारी से लड़ने के लिए जागरूकता फैलाने और शिक्षित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। यह लोगों को निमोनिया के कारणों और रोकथाम के बारे में शिक्षित करने और समाज में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए एक वैश्विक आयोजन है। निमोनिया एक तीव्र श्वसन संक्रमण है जो फेफड़ों को प्रभावित करता है और विश्व- भर में बच्चों में मृत्यु का सबसे बड़ा संक्रामक कारण है।

7.     Public Service Broadcasting Day is celebrated on 12th November every year to commemorate the only visit of Mahatma Gandhi to All India Radio in Delhi in 1947.Mahatma Gandhi was scheduled to visit Kurukskhetra on 12th November 1947 and address 2.5 lakh Indian refugees camping there. But since he could not reach Kurukskhetra due to certain unavoidable reasons, an arrangement was made for Gandhiji’s live broadcast from All India Radio for them. Consequently, Gandhiji visited the Broadcasting House and addressed the refugees at 3.00 PM. To commemorate 50 years of this historic visit of the Father of the Nation to All India Radio, a function was organised at AIR premises on 12th November 1997 at 3.00 PM. Later on, in the year 2001, the day was officially declared as Public Service Broadcasting Day.

Ø 1947 में दिल्ली में ऑल इंडिया रेडियो में महात्मा गांधी की एकमात्र यात्रा को स्मरण करते हुए प्रत्येक वर्ष  12 नवंबर को लोक सेवा प्रसारण दिवस मनाया जाता है। महात्मा गांधी 12 नवंबर 1947 को कुरुक्षेत्र का दौरा करने और वहां रह रहे 2.5 लाख भारतीय शरणार्थियों को संबोधित करने वाले थे। लेकिन कुछ अपरिहार्य कारणों से वे कुरुक्षेत्र नहीं पहुंच सके, इसलिए उनके लिए ऑल इंडिया रेडियो से गांधीजी के लाइव प्रसारण की व्यवस्था की गई। परिणामस्वरूप, गांधीजी ब्रॉडकास्टिंग हाउस गए और अपराह्न 3.00 बजे शरणार्थियों को संबोधित किया। राष्ट्रपिता की ऑल इंडिया रेडियो की इस ऐतिहासिक यात्रा के 50 वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में 12 नवंबर 1997 को अपराह्न 3.00 बजे आकाशवाणी परिसर में एक समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। बाद में, वर्ष 2001 में, इस दिन को आधिकारिक तौर पर लोक सेवा प्रसारण दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया गया था।

8. Sir David Butler, the father of modern election science whose career spanned more than 70 years, has died at the aged of 98. Born on 17 October 1924, Butler studied philosophy, politics and economics at New College, Oxford. His studies were interrupted when he was commissioned as a lieutenant to serve in the second world war. As an undergraduate, Butler adapted a forgotten Edwardian equation, “the cube rule”, for his work on elections.

Ø सर डेविड बटलर, आधुनिक चुनाव-विज्ञान के जनक, जिनका करियर इस क्षेत्र में 70 से अधिक वर्षों तक विस्तृत है, का 98 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया है। 17 अक्टूबर 1924 को जन्मे बटलर ने न्यू कॉलेज, ऑक्सफोर्ड में दर्शन, राजनीति और अर्थशास्त्र का अध्ययन किया था। द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध में सेवा करने के लिए लेफ्टिनेंट के रूप में नियुक्त किए जाने पर उनकी पढ़ाई बाधित हुई। एक स्नातक-छात्र के रूप में, बटलर ने चुनावों पर अपने कार्य के लिए एक भूले हुए एडवर्डियन समीकरण, "घन नियम" को अपनाया था।

9.    The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi unveiled a 108-feet-long bronze statue of Sri Nadaprabhu Kempegowda in Bengaluru. The statue is built to commemorate the contribution of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the founder of the city, towards the growth of Bengaluru. Conceptualised and sculpted by Ram V Sutar of the Statue of Unity fame, 98 tonnes of bronze and 120 tonnes of steel have gone into making this statue.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बेंगलुरु में श्री नादप्रभु केम्पेगौड़ा की 108 फीट लंबी कांस्य प्रतिमा का अनावरण किया है। प्रतिमा का निर्माण बेंगलुरू के विकास में शहर के संस्थापक नादप्रभु केम्पेगौड़ा के योगदान की स्मृति में किया गया है। स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी फेम राम वी सुतार द्वारा परिकल्पित और तैयार की गई इस प्रतिमा को बनाने में 98 टन कांसा और 120 टन स्टील लगा है।

10.The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, launched various projects of the Union Ministry of Education from Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar today (November 11, 2022). These include engineering books of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Odia language; glossary of the technical terms in Odia language, developed by Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT); and e-KUMBH (Knowledge Unleashed in Multiple Bharatiya Languages) portal.

Ø भारत की राष्ट्रपति श्रीमती द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 11 नवंबर, 2022 को जयदेव भवन, भुवनेश्वर से केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय की विभिन्न परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया। इनमें उड़िया भाषा में अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद (एआईसीटीई) की इंजीनियरिंग पुस्तकें; वैज्ञानिक और तकनीकी शब्दावली आयोग (सीएसटीटी) द्वारा विकसित उड़िया भाषा में तकनीकी शब्दों की शब्दावली; और ई-कुंभ (एकाधिक भारतीय भाषाओं में ज्ञान फैलाना) पोर्टल शामिल हैं।
