1.Hero MotoCorp has taken the wraps off their new electric scooter under the sub-brand, Vida. The automaker launched the V1 as the first electric scooter of the brand. There will be two other variants on offer, V1 Pro and V1 Plus. The Hero Vida V1 would be first launched in New Delhi, Jaipur and Bangalore. Deliveries of this electric scooter will commence from the second week of December. Interestingly, the Vida V1 will compete against Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X Gen3, Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube.

Ø हीरो मोटोकॉर्प ने उप-ब्रांड, विडा के अंतर्गत अपने नए इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर का अनावरण किया है। ऑटोमेकर ने V1 को ब्रांड के पहले इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर के रूप में लॉन्च किया है। इस स्कूटर के दो अन्य मॉडल होंगे, वी 1 प्रो और वी 1 प्लस। Hero Vida V1 को सबसे पहले नई दिल्ली, जयपुर और बैंगलोर में लॉन्च किया जाएगा। इस इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की डिलीवरी दिसंबर के दूसरे सप्ताह से प्रारम्भ हो जाएगी। Vida V1 के साथ-साथ Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X Gen3, Bajaj Chetak और TVS iQube बाजार में उपलब्ध हैं।

2. Union Minister of Road Transport and highways Nitin Gadkari along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath jointly inaugurated the 81st annual session of the Indian roads Congress in Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh is hosting 81st 'Indian Road Congress' in Lucknow from 8th to 11th Oct. More than 1,500 delegates are attending the event. Road Congress will discuss modern techniques in road construction and it will have many sessions regarding it. 

Ø केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के साथ लखनऊ में भारतीय सड़क कांग्रेस के 81वें वार्षिक सत्र का संयुक्त उद्घाटन किया। उत्तर प्रदेश 8 से 11 अक्टूबर तक लखनऊ में 81वीं 'इंडियन रोड कांग्रेस' की मेजबानी कर रहा है। इस आयोजन में 1500 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि भाग ले रहे हैं। रोड कांग्रेस, सड़क निर्माण में आधुनिक तकनीकों पर चर्चा करेगी और इसके सम्बन्ध में कई सत्र आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the Rs 856-crore Mahakaleshwar Temple corridor development project here, located around 200 km from the state capital Bhopal. The over 900-metre-long corridor—‘Mahakal Lok’—billed as one of the largest such corridors in India skirts around the old Rudrasagar Lake which has also been revived as part of the redevelopment project around the ancient Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the 12 ‘jyotirlings’ in the country that gets devotees throughout the year.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी राज्य की राजधानी भोपाल से लगभग 200 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित 856 करोड़ रुपये की महाकालेश्वर मंदिर गलियारा विकास परियोजना के पहले चरण का उद्घाटन करेंगे। 900 मीटर से अधिक लंबा यह गलियारा- 'महाकाल लोक' - भारत में सबसे बड़े ऐसे गलियारों में से एक है, जो पुरानी रुद्रसागर झील के चारों ओर अवस्थित है, जिसे प्राचीन महाकालेश्वर मंदिर के समीप पुनर्विकास परियोजना के हिस्से के रूप में पुनर्जीवित किया गया है। यह देश में 12 'ज्योतिर्लिंग' में से एक है, जहाँ वर्ष-पर्यन्त भक्त आते रहते हैं।

4. According to the latest demographic sample survey by the Union Home Ministry, the percentage of girls getting married before attaining majority is as high as 5.8 in Jharkhand. Adding more, the survey said that child marriages accounted for 7.3 per cent of marriages in rural areas and three per cent in urban areas in Jharkhand. The survey was brought out by the office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs. It was conducted in 2020 and the report was published late last month.

Ø केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा नवीनतम जनसांख्यिकीय नमूना सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार, झारखंड में लड़कियों केनिर्धारित आयु से पहले शादी करने का प्रतिशत 5.8 तक पहुँच गया है। साथ ही इस सर्वेक्षण में यह भी कहा गया है कि बाल विवाह ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 7.3 प्रतिशत और झारखंड में शहरी क्षेत्रों में तीन प्रतिशत है। यह सर्वेक्षण गृह मंत्रालय के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल और जनगणना आयुक्त के कार्यालय द्वारा किया गया था। यह 2020 में आयोजित किया गया था और रिपोर्ट पिछले माह के अंत में प्रकाशित हुई थी।

5. NSIC signs MoU with Utkarsh Small Finance Bank at New Delhi under its Bank tie up Scheme. This MoU arrangement with bank aims to support the MSMEs with their credit requirements. This Memorandum of Understanding with the banks will assist MSMEs with their lending needs.

Ø एनएसआईसी ने उत्कर्ष स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक के साथ को नई दिल्ली में अपनी बैंक टाई अप योजना के अंतर्गत एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किया है। बैंक के साथ इस समझौता ज्ञापन व्यवस्था का उद्देश्य एमएसएमई को उनकी ऋण आवश्यकताओं के साथ समर्थन करना है। बैंकों के साथ इस समझौता ज्ञापन से एमएसएमई को उनकी उधार आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने में सहायता मिलेगी।

6. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared Modhera in Gujarat's Mehsana district as India's first 24x7 solar-powered village. Making Modhera the country's first round-the-clock solar-powered village involved developing a ground-mounted solar power plant and more than 1,300 rooftop solar systems on residential and government buildings.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुजरात के मेहसाणा जिले में मोढेरा को भारत का पहला 24x7 सौर ऊर्जा संचालित गांव घोषित किया है। मोढेरा को देश का पहला चौबीसों घंटे सौर ऊर्जा से चलने वाला गांव बना है, जिसके अंतर्गत आवासीय और सरकारी भवनों पर ग्राउंड-माउंटेड सोलर पावर प्लांट और 1,300 से अधिक रूफटॉप सोलर सिस्टम विकसित करना शामिल है।

7. A. Balasubramanian has been re-elected as the chairman of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). The chairman and the vice-chairperson will hold office until the conclusion of 28th AGM. AMFI is the Indian mutual fund industry body and has all the 44 asset management companies that are registered with markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), as its members. It recommends and promotes best business practices and code of conduct to be followed by its members and others engaged in the activities of mutual fund and asset management. It makes representations to the market regulator Sebi, the Reserve Bank of India, the government, and other bodies on all matters relating to the mutual fund industry.

8. With an aim to bolster expertise and best practices among counter terrorism forces, the National Security Guard (NSG) of India is conducting a multinational joint anti-terror exercise (JATE) at its campus at Manesar in Gurugram under the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) framework. The JATE “Manesar Anti-Terror 2022” is aimed at giving a major fillip and building synergy between the Counter Terrorism Forces of the SCO RATS member countries to enhance capabilities for conducting anti-terrorist operations and countering other security threats collectively.

9. Mining major NMDC and RailTel Corporation of India have entered into an agreement covering ICT and Digital Transformation Services of NMDC, both at its Corporate Offices and Mining Complexes. This MoU builds on the partnership that NMDC already has with the National Railway Telecom which has been providing MPLS VPN at 11 of NMDC’s locations, and Internet Leased Lines (ILL) at 7 locations and High-Definition Video Conferencing solutions for 7 years.

10. The tenth meeting of the UAE-India High Level Joint Task Force on Investments (‘The Joint Task Force’) took place in Mumbai. It was co-chaired by Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Joint Task Force was established in 2013 to promote trade, investment and economic ties between the UAE and India. This was the first meeting of the Joint Task Force since the signing of the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and unveiling of the Joint UAE-India Vision Statement in February 2022 during the virtual summit.

Ø निवेश पर संयुक्त अरब अमीरात-भारत उच्च स्तरीय संयुक्त कार्य बल ('संयुक्त कार्य बल') की दसवीं बैठक मुंबई में आयोजित की गई। इसकी सह-अध्यक्षता श्री पीयूष गोयल, वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री, भारत सरकार और अबू धाबी अमीरात की कार्यकारी परिषद के सदस्य हिज हाइनेस शेख हमीद बिन जायद अल नाहयान ने की। संयुक्त कार्य बल की स्थापना 2013 में संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और भारत के बीच व्यापार, निवेश और आर्थिक संबंधों को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए की गई थी। भारत-यूएई व्यापक आर्थिक भागीदारी समझौते (सीईपीए) पर हस्ताक्षर करने और फरवरी 2022 आभासी शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान संयुक्त यूएई-भारत विजन स्टेटमेंट के अनावरण के बाद से संयुक्त कार्य बल की यह पहली बैठक थी।
