1.Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Shri Anurag Singh Thakur addressed the inaugural session of three days “WADA Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) Symposium- 2022” today in New Delhi. This symposium is being organised by National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL).

Ø केंद्रीय युवा कार्यक्रम और खेल मंत्री श्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने नई दिल्ली में तीन दिवसीय "विश्व डोपिंग रोधी संस्था-वाडा एथलीट बायोलॉजिकल पासपोर्ट (एबीपी) संगोष्ठी- 2022" के उद्घाटन सत्र को संबोधित किया। इस संगोष्ठी का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय डोपिंग रोधी एजेंसी (एनएडीए) और राष्ट्रीय डोप परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला (एनडीटीएल) द्वारा किया जा रहा है।

2. NTPC and Siemens Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to demonstrate the feasibility for hydrogen co-firing blended with natural gas in Siemens V94.2 gas turbines installed at NTPC Faridabad gas power plant. The total installed capacity of Faridabad gas power plant is 432 megawatt (MW) with two V94.2 gas turbines operating in combined cycle mode. Under this MoU, both the companies will collaborate to study the feasibility of introducing hydrogen co-firing in Faridabad gas power plant. Based on the feasibility studies, a pilot project for 5% (by volume) hydrogen co-firing may be implemented for demonstrating the capability and the hydrogen required for the project shall be arranged by NTPC.

Ø एनटीपीसी और सीमेन्स लिमिटेड ने एनटीपीसी के फरीदाबाद गैस विद्युत संयंत्र में स्थापित सीमेन्स वी94.2 गैस टर्बाइनों में प्राकृतिक गैस के साथ मिश्रित हाइड्रोजन को-फायरिंग की व्यवहार्यता दिखाने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस समझौता ज्ञापन के तहत दोनों कंपनियां फरीदाबाद गैस विद्युत संयंत्र में हाइड्रोजन को-फायरिंग शुरू करने की व्यवहार्यता का अध्ययन करने के लिए सहभागिता करेंगी। इन व्यवहार्यता अध्ययनों के आधार पर क्षमता का प्रदर्शन करने के लिए 5 फीसदी (मात्रा के अनुसार) हाइड्रोजन को-फायरिंग के लिए एक प्रायोगिक परियोजना लागू की जा सकती है और इस परियोजना के लिए आवश्यक हाइड्रोजन की व्यवस्था एनटीपीसी करेगी।

3. The Union Cabinet has approved a new Scheme, Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North East Region (PM-DevINE) for the remaining four years of the 15th Finance Commission from 2022-23 to 2025-26.  The new Scheme, PM-DevINE, is a Central Sector Scheme with 100% Central funding and will be implemented by Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). PM-DevINE, was announced in the Union Budget 2022-23 to address development gaps in the North Eastern Region (NER).

Ø केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने एक नई योजना, पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के लिए प्रधानमंत्री की विकास पहल (पीएम-डिवाइन) को वर्ष 2022-23 से 2025-26 तक 15वें वित्त आयोग के शेष चार वर्षों के लिए स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है। 100 प्रतिशत केन्द्रीय वित्त पोषण के साथ पीएम-डिवाइन नाम की नई योजना, केन्द्रीय क्षेत्र की एक योजना है और इसे पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा लागू किया जाएगा। पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र में विकास अंतराल को दूर करने के लिए केन्द्रीय बजट 2022-23 में पीएम-डिवाइन की घोषणा की गई थी।

4. INS Tarkash reached Port Gqeberha (also known as Port Elizabeth), South Africa to participate in the seventh edition of IBSAMAR, a joint multinational maritime exercise among Indian, Brazilian and South African Navies from 10 - 12 Oct 22. The previous edition of IBSAMAR (IBSAMAR VI) was conducted off Simons Town, South Africa from 01 to 13 Oct 18.

Ø आईएनएस तरकश दिनांक 10 से 12 अक्टूबर 2022 तक भारतीय, ब्राजील एवं दक्षिण अफ्रीकी नौसेनाओं के बीच एक संयुक्त बहुराष्ट्रीय समुद्री अभ्यास आईबीएसएएमएआर के सातवें संस्करण में भाग लेने के लिए दक्षिण अफ्रीका के पोर्ट गकेबेरहा (जो पोर्ट एलिजाबेथ के रूप में भी जाना जाता है) पहुंचा है। आईबीएसएएमएआर (आईबीएसएएमएआर VI) का पिछला संस्करण सिमंस टाउन, दक्षिण अफ्रीका में दिनांक 01 से 13 अक्टूबर 2018 तक आयोजित किया गया था।

5. Coal India (CIL) will sign agreements with three public sector enterprises -- Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) and GAIL (India)-- in order to set up four surface gasification projects. Through gasification process, coal is converted into syngas -- a fuel gas -- which can be used in downstream production of value-added chemicals. The government aims to achieve 100 million tonnes of coal gasification in the next eight years in order to reduce the import of crude oil.

Ø कोल इंडिया (सीआईएल) चार सतह गैसीकरण परियोजनाओं की स्थापना के लिए तीन सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यमों - भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (भेल), इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (आईओसीएल) और गेल (इंडिया) के साथ समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर करेगी। गैसीकरण प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से, कोयले को सिनगैस में परिवर्तित किया जाता है। सिनगैस, एक ईंधन गैस है, जिसका उपयोग मूल्य वर्धित रसायनों के डाउनस्ट्रीम उत्पादन में किया जा सकता है। सरकार का लक्ष्य अगले आठ वर्षों में कच्चे तेल के आयात को कम करने के लिए 100 मिलियन टन कोयला गैसीकरण प्राप्त करना है।

6. Every year since 1996, October 12 is observed as World Arthritis Day (WAD). This day was designed to raise awareness across the globe of the prevailing impact of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases, also known as RMDs. The theme for this year is “It’s in your hands, take action.”

Ø 1996 से प्रत्येक वर्ष 12 अक्टूबर को विश्व गठिया दिवस (WAD) के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को आमवाती और मस्कुलोस्केलेटल रोगों के प्रचलित प्रभाव के बारे में विश्व भर में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए प्रारम्भ किया गया था, जिसे आरएमडी के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। इस वर्ष की थीम है "यह आपके हाथ में है, इसके लिए प्रयास कीजिए।"

7. ICICI Bank has announced the launch of an online solution to help its customers carry out SWIFT based inward remittances in a faster and hassle-free manner. Smart Wire facility will allow both NRIs and resident customers to undertake inward remittance transactions in an online and paperless way.

Ø आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने अपने ग्राहकों को तीव्रऔर परेशानी मुक्त तरीके से स्विफ्ट आधारित आवक प्रेषण करने में सहायता करने के लिए एक ऑनलाइन समाधान प्रारम्भ करने की घोषणा की है। स्मार्ट वायर सुविधा एनआरआई और निवासी ग्राहकों दोनों को ऑनलाइन और पेपरलेस तरीके से आवक प्रेषण लेनदेन करने की अनुमति प्रदान करेगा।

8. The Haryana government announced that the government of Dubai has finalized a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with it for cooperation in various economic activities. Under the terms of the MoU, the Government of Dubai shall identify a suitable entity to assist with identifying the potential areas of collaboration, assessing the viability of projects including conducting legal and financial due diligence, feasibility studies, negotiation and finalization of definitive agreements and support the Govt. of Haryana in identifying potential investors based in UAE having interest in investing in India and reaching out to them.

Ø हरियाणा सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि दुबई सरकार ने विभिन्न आर्थिक गतिविधियों में सहयोग के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) को अंतिम रूप दिया है। समझौता ज्ञापन की शर्तों के अंतर्गत, दुबई सरकार सहयोग के संभावित क्षेत्रों की पहचान करने में सहायता करने के लिए एक उपयुक्त इकाई की पहचान करेगी, जिसमें कानूनी और वित्तीय उचित परिश्रम, व्यवहार्यता अध्ययन, बातचीत और निश्चित समझौतों और समर्थन को अंतिम रूप देने सहित परियोजनाओं की व्यवहार्यता का आकलन करना शामिल है।

9. International Monetary Fund has projected that global growth will slow from 6 percent in 2021 to 3.2 percent in 2022 and 2.7 percent in 2023. It said that the world’s largest economies US, China, and the Euro area will continue to stall. In the World Economic Outlook 2022 report, IMF said that India will be the fastest-growing large economy in the world. Cutting India’s GDP growth forecast to 6.8 percent for Financial Year 2023, the IMF predicted that India will continue to remain on track to become one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. IMF expects that inflation in India will come down to 4 percent range next year.

Ø अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष ने अनुमान लगाया है कि वैश्विक विकास 2021 में 6 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 2022 में 3.2 प्रतिशत और 2023 में 2.7 प्रतिशत हो जाएगा।  इसके अनुसार विश्व की सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्थाएं अमेरिका, चीन और यूरो क्षेत्र ठप होते रहेंगे। वर्ल्ड इकोनॉमिक आउटलुक 2022 रिपोर्ट में आईएमएफ ने कहा कि भारत विश्व में सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाली बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था होगी। वित्तीय वर्ष 2023 के लिए भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद की वृद्धि के अनुमान को 6.8 प्रतिशत तक काम करते हुए, आईएमएफ ने भविष्यवाणी की कि भारत विश्व में सबसे तेजी से बढ़ती अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में से एक बनने की राह पर बना रहेगा।

10. State Bank of India (SBI), has upgraded its Contact Centre service for an enhanced and more personalized customer experience. The revamped Contact Centre will provide 30+ banking solutions offered in 12 languages, available 24x7 from home. The bank has introduced 4-digit toll-free numbers (1800-1234 or 1800-2100) to simplify the process further. The customers can avail of an array of services related to accounts, ATM cards and cheque book, emergency services (ATM card or digital channel blocking), access to digital products and support, product information, etc.

Ø भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने बेहतर और अधिक व्यक्तिगत ग्राहक अनुभव के लिए अपनी संपर्क केंद्र सेवा को अधिक उन्नत रूप में विकसित किया है। नया संपर्क केंद्र 12 भाषाओं में 30+ बैंकिंग समाधान उपलब्ध कराएगा, जो घर से चौबीसों घंटे उपलब्ध होंगे। प्रक्रिया को अधिक सरल बनाने के लिए बैंक ने 4-अंकीय टोल-फ्री नंबर (1800-1234 या 1800-2100) प्रदान किए गए  हैं। ग्राहक खातों, एटीएम कार्ड और चेक बुक, आपातकालीन सेवाओं (एटीएम कार्ड या डिजिटल चैनल ब्लॉकिंग), डिजिटल उत्पादों तक पहुंच और समर्थन, उत्पाद जानकारी आदि से संबंधित सेवाओं की एक श्रृंखला का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।
