1.Former India cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and drone market Garuda Aerospace have launched a surveillance drone named ‘Droni.’ Dhoni is an ambassador-cum-investor in the low-cost drone manufacturer. Dhoni had unveiled the camera drone called Droni at The Global Drone Expo in Chennai last year. Droni is a battery-operated quadcopter surveillance drone. Garuda Aerospace recently became the first-ever drone company in India to get dual DGCA approvals for both drone manufacturing type certificate and RTPO.

Ø भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी और ड्रोन उत्पादक गरुड़ एयरोस्पेस ने 'ड्रोनी' नाम का एक सर्विलांस ड्रोन लॉन्च किया है। धोनी; इस कम लागत वाले ड्रोन निर्माता के एम्बेसडर और निवेशक हैं। धोनी ने पिछले वर्ष चेन्नई में द ग्लोबल ड्रोन एक्सपो में ड्रोनी नामक कैमरा ड्रोन का अनावरण किया था। 'ड्रोनी' बैटरी से चलने वाला क्वॉडकॉप्टर सर्विलांस ड्रोन है। गरुड़ एयरोस्पेस हाल ही में ड्रोन निर्माण-प्रकार-प्रमाण पत्र और आरटीपीओ दोनों के लिए, डीजीसीए अनुमोदन प्राप्त करने वाली भारत की पहली ड्रोन कंपनी बन गई है।

2.  Vidisha, an aspirational district of Madhya Pradesh became the first ever district in India for on ground deployment of innovative 5G use cases offered by startups - a joint initiative by Vidisha District Administration and Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the guidance of Additional Secretary (Telecom) & Administrator USOF.

3. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya chairs Health Ministers’ virtual Session of “Voice of Global South Summit – 2023” titled: Cooperation to build resilient healthcare systems. The session served as a platform to generate ideas from the developing world for holistic healthcare. The session was attended by dignitaries from Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Royal Government of Bhutan, Republic of Cameroon, Grenada, Republic of Guatemala, Republic of Liberia, Republic of Malawi, Republic of Niger, Independent State of Samoa, Kingdom of Eswatini, Republic of Paraguay, and Dominica.

4. Indian Railways is going to run its Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train on a very special tour “Shri Ram-Janaki Yatra: Ayodhya to Janakpur” covering two most significant pilgrimage sites Ayodhya and Janakpur from the neighboring countries India and Nepal. The tourist train will start from Delhi on 17th Feb 2023. The tourist train will include the visit of Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Kashi and Prayagraj as added attractions in the tour. Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train launch is in line with the Government of India initiative “Dekho Apna Desh” to promote domestic tourism.

Ø भारतीय रेलवे अपनी भारत गौरव डीलक्स एसी टूरिस्ट ट्रेन को “श्रीराम-जानकी यात्रा: अयोध्या से जनकपुर” तक एक एक विशेष यात्रा पर संचालित करने जा रहा है, जो पड़ोसी देशों भारत और नेपाल के दो सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ स्थलों अयोध्या और जनकपुर को जोड़ती है। ये पर्यटक ट्रेन 17 फरवरी, 2023 को दिल्ली से प्रारम्भ होगी। इस टूरिस्ट ट्रेन में नंदीग्राम, सीतामढ़ी, काशी और प्रयागराज की यात्रा भी अतिरिक्त आकर्षण के रूप में शामिल होंगी। भारत गौरव टूरिस्ट ट्रेन की शुरुआत घरेलू पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए भारत सरकार की पहल "देखो अपना देश" के अनुरूप की गई है।

5.The country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI), has launched e-Bank Guarantee (e-BG) facility by joining hands with National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL). With the advent of e-BG, this function will be replaced by e-stamping and e-signature. SBI claims that this facility will bring about a revolutionary change in the banking ecosystem, where bank guarantee is frequently used in large volumes. Currently, the bank issues these guarantees with physical stamping.

Ø देश के सबसे बड़े ऋणदाता भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) ने नेशनल ई-गवर्नेंस सर्विसेज लिमिटेड (NeSL) के साथ समझौता करते हुए ई-बैंक गारंटी (e-BG) सुविधा प्रारम्भ की है। ई-बीजी के प्रारम्भ के साथ, यह कार्य ई-स्टांपिंग और ई-हस्ताक्षर द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा। एसबीआई के अनुसार, यह सुविधा बैंकिंग पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में एक क्रांतिकारी बदलाव लाएगी, जहां बैंक गारंटी का प्रायः बड़ी मात्रा में उपयोग किया जाता है। वर्तमान में, बैंक इन गारंटियों को भौतिक मुद्रांकन के साथ जारी करता है।

6. The 7th Armed Forces Veterans Day will be celebrated on the 14th of January. The 14th of January is commemorated as Armed Forces Veterans Day as a mark of respect and recognition for the services rendered by Field Marshall KM Cariappa. He was the first Indian Chief of the Indian Army. He retired from service on 14th January 1953.

Ø 7वां सशस्त्र सेना पूर्व सैनिक दिवस 14 जनवरी को मनाया जाएगा। 14 जनवरी को फील्ड मार्शल केएम करियप्पा द्वारा प्रदान की गई सेवाओं के सम्मान और मान्यता के प्रतीक के रूप में सशस्त्र सेना पूर्व सैनिक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वह भारतीय सेना के पहले भारतीय प्रमुख थे। वह 14 जनवरी 1953 को सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे।

7. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has officially launched the book titled “Braving A Viral Storm: India’s Covid-19 Vaccine Story” in New Delhi. The book is co-authored by Aashish Chandorkar and Suraj Sudhir. The book launch comes ahead of India’s second anniversary of starting its COVID-19 vaccination drive in January 2021. In this book, the inside story of India’s fight against Corona and the challenges of making a vaccine in difficult circumstances is told.

Ø स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने नई दिल्ली में आधिकारिक रूप से "ब्रेविंग ए वायरल स्टॉर्म: इंडियाज कोविड-19 वैक्सीन स्टोरी" नामक एक पुस्तक लॉन्च की है। पुस्तक के सह-लेखक आशीष चांदोरकर और सूरज सुधीर हैं। पुस्तक का विमोचन जनवरी 2021 में भारत के कोविड-19 टीकाकरण अभियान की दूसरी वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर हो रहा है। इस पुस्तक में कोरोना के विरुद्ध भारत की लड़ाई और कठिन परिस्थितियों में टीका बनाने की चुनौतियों के बारे में बताया गया है।

8. Harry Brook on January 10, 2023 bagged his maiden ICC Men’s Player of the Month crown. Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner secured the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award. It is noteworthy that Jos Buttler & Sidra Ameen were named as ICC Player of the Month award for November 2022.

Ø 10 जनवरी, 2023 को हैरी ब्रुक ने अपने पहले ICC मेन्स प्लेयर ऑफ़ द मंथ की उपाधि प्राप्त किया है। ऑस्ट्रेलिया की एशले गार्डनर ने आईसीसी महिला प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ अवार्ड प्राप्त किया है। उल्लेखनीय है कि जोस बटलर और सिदरा अमीन को नवंबर 2022 के लिए आईसीसी प्लेयर ऑफ द मंथ अवार्ड के रूप में नामित किया गया था।

9. Two Indian Coast Guard Ships arrived at Chattogram for a six-day visit as part of ongoing close cooperation between the Coast Guards of Bangladesh and India. The ships were given a warm welcome by the Bangladesh Coast Guard. The two ships ICGS Sharuya and ICGS Rajveer, are state-of-the-art indigenously built Indian Coast Guard ships. The visit of these ships is an important part of the Defence Partnership between India and Bangladesh and the wide-ranging cooperation between the Coast Guards of the two countries. 

Ø बांग्लादेश और भारत के तट रक्षकों के बीच चल रहे घनिष्ठ सहयोग के अंतर्गत छह दिवसीय यात्रा के लिए दो भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज चटोग्राम पहुंचे। दोनों जहाजों का बांग्लादेश तट रक्षक द्वारा उत्साहपूर्वक स्वागत किया गया है। दो जहाज ICGS शरूया और ICGS राजवीर, अत्याधुनिक स्वदेशी रूप से निर्मित भारतीय तट रक्षक जहाज हैं। इन जहाजों की यात्रा, भारत और बांग्लादेश के बीच रक्षा साझेदारी और दोनों देशों के तट रक्षकों के बीच व्यापक सहयोग का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है।

10. The Himachal Pradesh government restored the old pension scheme in its first cabinet meeting. The Cabinet decided to provide OPS to all the Government employees who are presently covered under the defined contributory pension scheme also referred to as NPS. This will benefit to about 1.36 lakh NPS employees in the State. The Cabinet also decided to constitute a Cabinet Sub Committee for finalizing the roadmap for implementation.

Ø हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने अपनी पहली कैबिनेट बैठक में पुरानी पेंशन योजना को बहाल कर दिया है। मंत्रिमंडल ने उन सभी सरकारी कर्मचारियों को ओपीएस प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया, जो वर्तमान में परिभाषित अंशदायी पेंशन योजना के अंतर्गत आते हैं; जिसे एनपीएस भी कहा जाता है। इससे राज्य में लगभग 1.36 लाख एनपीएस कर्मचारियों को लाभ होगा। कैबिनेट ने इसके कार्यान्वयन के रोडमैप को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए एक कैबिनेट उप-समिति गठित करने का निर्णय लिया है।
