The Indian Army celebrated its 75th Army Day in Bengaluru on 15th January. This is the first time that the event is being held out of Delhi. Army Day is observed on January 15 to remember the occasion when Field Marshal KM Cariappa took over as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army, replacing his British predecessor General Sir FRR Bucher in 1949.
भारतीय सेना ने 15 जनवरी को बेंगलुरु में अपना 75वां सेना दिवस मनाया है। यह पहली बार हुआ है, जब यह आयोजन दिल्ली से बाहर हो रहा है। 15 जनवरी को सेना दिवस उस अवसर को याद करने के लिए मनाया जाता है, जब फील्ड मार्शल केएम करियप्पा ने 1949 में अपने ब्रिटिश पूर्ववर्ती जनरल सर एफआरआर बुचर की जगह पर भारतीय सेना के पहले भारतीय कमांडर-इन-चीफ के रूप में पदभार संभाला था।
The Election Commission has called presidents, chairpersons and general secretaries of all national parties for a meeting to discuss and demonstrate the Remote Voting Machine. The Technical Expert Committee members will also be present in the meeting. The poll body has proposed the introduction of ‘remote voting’ for domestic migrants. This modified form of EVM can handle up to 72 multiple constituencies from a single remote polling booth.
निर्वाचन आयोग ने रिमोट वोटिंग मशीन पर चर्चा और प्रदर्शन के लिए सभी राष्ट्रीय दलों के अध्यक्षों, अध्यक्षों और महासचिवों को एक बैठक के लिए बुलाया है। बैठक में तकनीकी विशेषज्ञ समिति के सदस्य भी उपस्थित रहेंगे। निर्वाचन आयोग ने घरेलू प्रवासियों के लिए 'रिमोट वोटिंग' की शुरुआत का प्रस्ताव दिया है। ईवीएम का यह संशोधित रूप, एक रिमोट पोलिंग बूथ से 72 निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों को संभाल सकता है।
NCP MP from Lakshadweep P P Mohammed Faizal has been disqualified from the Lok Sabha following his conviction in a case. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a notification regarding his disqualification. This disqualification is related with provisions of Article 102(1)(e) of the Constitution of India read with Section 8 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
लक्षद्वीप से एनसीपी सांसद पीपी मोहम्मद फैजल को एक मामले में दोषी ठहराए जाने के बाद लोकसभा से अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया गया है। लोकसभा सचिवालय ने उनकी अयोग्यता के संबंध में एक अधिसूचना जारी की है। यह अयोग्यता भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 102 (1) (ई) के प्रावधानों से संबंधित है, जिसे लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 8 के साथ सम्मिलित किया गया है।
Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar attended the 7th Armed Force Veterans Day in New Delhi on 14th January. The three Service Chiefs highlighted the important welfare measures undertaken by various welfare departments under the veterans vertical of the Armed Forces. The event witnessed the release of SAMMAAN magazine.

Captain Surbhi Jakhmola of the Indian Army's 117 Engineer Regiment will be the first woman officer to be posted on a foreign assignment at the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). The officer will be sent to Bhutan as part of Project Dantak. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is an executive road construction force in India that supports the Indian armed forces. BRO builds and maintains road networks along India's borders and in friendly neighbouring countries.
भारतीय सेना की 117 इंजीनियर रेजीमेंट की कैप्टन सुरभि जखमोला सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) में विदेशी असाइनमेंट पर तैनात होने वाली पहली महिला अधिकारी होंगी। अधिकारी को ‘दंतक’ प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत भूटान भेजा जाएगा। सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) भारत में एक कार्यकारी सड़क निर्माण बल है, जो भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों का समर्थन करता है। बीआरओ भारत की सीमाओं और मित्र पड़ोसी देशों में सड़क नेटवर्क का निर्माण और रखरखाव करता है।
Star Indian batter Virat Kohli became the fifth-highest run-scorer in history of ODI cricket, overtaking Sri Lankan legend Mahela Jayawardene to enter into top-five. Virat added another record to his pile of accomplishments during India’s third and final ODI of the series against Sri Lanka in Kerala. He has hit his 65th ODI fifty.

R’Bonney Gabriel from the USA is Miss Universe 2022. At the grand finale of the 71st Miss Universe contest, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu crowned the diva. In the 71st edition of the competition, Venezuela’s Amanda Dudamel took second place, followed by Dominican Republic’s Andreina Martinez as the second runner-up. Over 80 women from all over the world competed for the coveted title of Miss Universe during the competition. Divita Rai of India reached the top 16, but she was unable to advance further.

Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal will launch the MAARG platform (Mentorship, Advisory, Assistance, Resilience, and Growth), which would facilitate mentorship between startups and entrepreneurs across sectors, stages, and functions. The matchmaking phase of the portal, will allow startups to connect with mentors and discuss their mentorship needs. The winning startups will be given a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh each. One exceptional Incubator and one Accelerator each will also get a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.
वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल MAARG प्लेटफॉर्म (मेंटरशिप, एडवाइजरी, असिस्टेंस, रेजिलिएंस और ग्रोथ) लॉन्च करेंगे, जो विभिन्न क्षेत्रकों, चरणों और कार्यों में स्टार्टअप्स और उद्यमियों के बीच मेंटरशिप की सुविधा प्रदान करेगा। पोर्टल का मैचमेकिंग चरण, स्टार्टअप्स को मेंटर्स के साथ जुड़ने और उनकी मेंटरशिप जरूरतों पर चर्चा करने की अनुमति प्रदान करेगा। इसके अंतर्गत विजेता स्टार्टअप को प्रत्येक को 5 लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा। एक असाधारण इनक्यूबेटर और एक एक्सेलरेटर; प्रत्येक को 15 लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार भी दिया जाएगा।
The 15th India-UK Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) was held in New Delhi. India and the UK shared a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with the adoption of Roadmap 2030 for Future Relations. Both sides discussed issues like trade and economic cooperation, defence and security, science and technology, health and climate change. Both sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges at political and senior official levels and hold the next FOC in London in 2024.
15वां भारत-ब्रिटेन विदेश कार्यालय परामर्श (FOC) नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया गया। भारत और यूके ने भविष्य के संबंधों के लिए रोडमैप 2030 को अपनाने के साथ एक व्यापक रणनीतिक साझेदारी साझा की है। दोनों पक्षों ने व्यापार और आर्थिक सहयोग, रक्षा और सुरक्षा, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी, स्वास्थ्य और जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसे विषयों पर चर्चा की है। दोनों पक्ष राजनीतिक और वरिष्ठ आधिकारिक स्तरों पर नियमित आदान-प्रदान बनाए रखने और 2024 में लंदन में अगला FOC आयोजित करने पर सहमत हुए हैं।
The 1st Health Working Group meeting under G-20 India Presidency will be held from the 18th to 20th of January, 2023 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In a significant milestone, India assumed the presidency of the G-20 on the 1st of December, 2022. The Health Track of the G-20 India Presidency will comprise four Health Working Group (HWG) Meetings and one Health Ministerial Meeting (HMM). The meetings will be held in different locations across the country including Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Goa, Hyderabad (Telangana) and Gandhinagar (Gujarat).
भारत द्वारा G-20 की अध्यक्षता के अंतर्गत पहली स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह की बैठक 18 से 20 जनवरी, 2023 तक तिरुवनंतपुरम, केरल में आयोजित की जाएगी। एक महत्वपूर्ण मील के पत्थर के रूप में, भारत ने 1 दिसंबर, 2022 को जी-20 की अध्यक्षता ग्रहण की थी। जी-20 इंडिया प्रेसीडेंसी के हेल्थ ट्रैक में चार स्वास्थ्य कार्य समूह (एचडब्ल्यूजी) की बैठकें और एक स्वास्थ्य मंत्रिस्तरीय बैठक (एचएमएम) शामिल होगी। यह बैठकें तिरुवनंतपुरम (केरल), गोवा, हैदराबाद (तेलंगाना) और गांधीनगर (गुजरात) सहित देश भर में विभिन्न स्थानों पर आयोजित की जाएंगी।
