1. Sahitya Akademi has organised an 8-day Book Fair at Rabindra Bhavan in New Delhi. The book fair will run till 18th November. The theme of the event is 'Bal Sahitya'. During the book fair, the Akademi will organise several literary activities like book releases, book discussions, children's literature, symposiums, cartoon making and creative writing competitions for children. 30 eminent writers who write for children will attend various literary activities during the fair.

Ø साहित्य अकादमी ने नई दिल्ली के रवीन्द्र भवन में 8 दिवसीय पुस्तक मेले का आयोजन किया है। यह पुस्तक मेला 18 नवंबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस कार्यक्रम का विषय 'बाल साहित्य' है। पुस्तक मेले के दौरान अकादमी; पुस्तक विमोचन, पुस्तक चर्चा, बाल साहित्य, संगोष्ठी, कार्टून बनाने और बच्चों के लिए रचनात्मक लेखन प्रतियोगिताओं जैसी कई साहित्यिक गतिविधियों का आयोजन करेगी। मेले के दौरान बच्चों के लिए लिखने वाले 30 प्रतिष्ठित लेखक विभिन्न साहित्यिक गतिविधियों में भाग लेंगे।

2. A total of 15 films will compete for the coveted Golden Peacock at the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The IFFI will be held from 20th to 28th of this month. From the very first Golden Peacock awarded in the 3rd edition of IFFI, the prize has been amongst the most sought-after film awards in Asia.

Ø गोवा में भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव (IFFI) के 53वें संस्करण में प्रतिष्ठित गोल्डन पीकॉक के लिए कुल 15 फिल्में प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी। आईएफएफआई, इस माह की 20 से 28 तारीख तक आयोजित किया जाएगा। आईएफएफआई के तीसरे संस्करण में प्रदान किए गए पहले गोल्डन पीकॉक से, अब यह पुरस्कार एशिया में सबसे अधिक चर्चा वाले फिल्म पुरस्कारों में से एक हो गया है।

3. The third edition of the ‘Pan-India’ Coastal Defence Exercise ‘Sea Vigil-22’ will be conducted on 15-16 Nov 22. This National Level Coastal Defence Exercise was conceptualised in 2018 to validate various measures that have been instituted towards enhancing maritime security since ‘26/11’.  The exercise is a build up towards the major Theatre Level Readiness Operational Exercise (TROPEX), which the Indian Navy conducts every two years. 

Ø 'अखिल-भारतीय' तटीय रक्षा अभ्यास 'सी विजिल-22' का तीसरा संस्करण 15-16 नवंबर 22 को आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस राष्ट्रीय स्तर के तटीय रक्षा अभ्यास की परिकल्पना 2018 में की गई थी, जिससे कि विभिन्न उपायों को मान्यता प्रदान किया जा सके; जो '26/11' के बाद से समुद्री-सुरक्षा बढ़ाने की दिशा में स्थापित किए गए हैं। यह अभ्यास, प्रमुख थिएटर लेवल रेडिनेस ऑपरेशनल एक्सरसाइज (TROPEX) के लिए अत्यंत प्रभावी है, जिसे भारतीय नौसेना प्रत्येक दो वर्ष में आयोजित करती है।

4.  In a first of its kind occurrence, around 1.5 lakh students from more than 5000 schools from India in the Atal Tinkering Labs programme of the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog took part in a unique mega tinkering activity on the occasion of Children's day, on Nov 14. In this event, participating students all across India built an innovation project together in one of the largest ever global tinkering events done collectively in a single day. With a vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’, Atal Innovation Mission is establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools across India.

Ø अपने तरह के पहले कार्यक्रम में, अटल इनोवेशन मिशन, नीति आयोग के अटल टिंकरिंग लैब्स कार्यक्रम में भारत के 5000 से अधिक स्कूलों के लगभग 1.5 लाख छात्रों ने 14 नवम्बर, बाल दिवस के अवसर पर एक विशेष मेगा टिंकरिंग गतिविधि में भाग लिया है। इस कार्यक्रम में, पूरे भारत में भाग लेने वाले छात्रों ने एक ही दिन में सामूहिक रूप से किए गए अब तक के सबसे बड़े वैश्विक टिंकरिंग कार्यक्रमों में से एक में, एक साथ एक नवाचार परियोजना का निर्माण किया है। 'भारत में एक मिलियन बच्चों को नियोटेरिक इनोवेटर्स के रूप में तैयार करने' की दृष्टि से, अटल इनोवेशन मिशन पूरे भारत के स्कूलों में अटल टिंकरिंग लैबोरेटरीज (एटीएल) की स्थापना कर रहा है।

5. National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), under the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), jointly launched “In Our LiFEtime” campaign to encourage youth between the ages of 18 to 23 years to become message bearers of sustainable lifestyles. This campaign envisions to recognize youth from around the world taking climate action initiatives that resonate with the concept of LiFE. This was launched in a side event at the India Pavilion at COP 27, Sharm El-Sheikh.

Ø पर्यावरण वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय और संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (यूएनडीपी) के अंतर्गत प्राकृतिक इतिहास के राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय (एनएमएनएच) ने संयुक्त रूप से 18 से 23 वर्ष की आयु के युवाओं को सतत जीवन-शैली का संदेश वाहक बनने के उद्देश्य से प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए "इन आवर लाइफटाइम" अभियान प्रारम्भ किया है।  यह अभियान विश्व भर के युवाओं को जलवायु कार्रवाई की पहल करने वाले युवाओं को पहचानने की कल्पना करता है, जो कि LiFE की अवधारणा के साथ प्रतिध्वनित होते हैं। इसे COP 27, शर्म अल-शेख में इंडिया पवेलियन में एक साइड इवेंट के अंतर्गत लॉन्च किया गया था।

6. Indian Navy conducted 'Prasthan', a structured exercise to evaluate organisational effectiveness in protecting offshore assets off Mumbai on an Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) platform 150 km into the sea. 'Prasthan' is conducted twice a year under the aegis of Headquarters, Western Naval Command. It aims to assess various measures and protocols conceived to address security threats and other contingencies that may arise in offshore oil production platforms.

Ø भारतीय नौसेना ने समुद्र में 150 किलोमीटर दूर तेल और प्राकृतिक गैस निगम (ओएनजीसी) के प्लेटफॉर्म पर मुंबई से दूर अपतटीय संपत्तियों की सुरक्षा में संगठनात्मक प्रभावशीलता का मूल्यांकन करने के लिए एक संरचित अभ्यास 'प्रस्थान' का आयोजन किया है। पश्चिमी नौसेना कमान मुख्यालय के तत्वावधान में वर्ष में दो बार 'प्रस्थान' का आयोजन किया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य अपतटीय तेल उत्पादन प्लेटफार्मों में उत्पन्न होने वाले सुरक्षा खतरों और अन्य आकस्मिकताओं को दूर करने के लिए कल्पना किए गए विभिन्न उपायों और प्रोटोकॉल का आकलन करना है।

7. The Kerala Tourism has bagged the prestigious Responsible Tourism Global award at the World Travel Mart held in London. State Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyas received the award on behalf of the department at London and said it was an encouragement for the Kerala tourism sector. The award was given for the STREET project implemented by the Responsible Tourism Mission under the Kerala Government. The 'street' initiative is a water protection and conservation project in Tourism sector implemented with public participation.

Ø केरल टूरिज्म ने लंदन में आयोजित वर्ल्ड ट्रैवल मार्ट में प्रतिष्ठित रिस्पॉन्सिबल टूरिज्म ग्लोबल अवार्ड प्राप्त किया है। राज्य के पर्यटन मंत्री पीए मोहम्मद रियास ने लंदन में विभाग की ओर से पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया और कहा कि यह केरल पर्यटन क्षेत्र के लिए एक बड़ा प्रोत्साहन है। यह पुरस्कार केरल सरकार के अंतर्गत उत्तरदायी पर्यटन मिशन द्वारा कार्यान्वित स्ट्रीट परियोजना के लिए दिया गया था। 'सड़क' पहल पर्यटन क्षेत्र में सार्वजनिक भागीदारी के साथ कार्यान्वित एक जल सुरक्षा और संरक्षण परियोजना है।

8. Google declared Shlok Mukherjee from Kolkata as the winner for India for his inspiring Doodle titled ‘India on the center stage’ on November 14, 2022. The theme of the contest was “In the next 25 years, my India will...” The Doodle for Google competition aims to encourage creativity and celebrate imagination in young people. Shlok’s and the group winner’s Doodle is being featured on google.com/doodles on November 14, Children’s Day.

9.    Union Bank of India celebrated its 104th foundation day on 11 November 2022 at MMRDA Ground, BKC, Mumbai. Union Bank of India, the country’s 5th largest public sector bank, was established on 11th November 1919 and has its first head office inaugurated by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. On this occasion, Bank launched a super app – the Union Vyom app & various other digital products. Union Vyom App, the super app of the Bank, is a one-stop solution for all financial products.
