The Government of India has launched one mobile app namely “KhananPrahari” and one web app Coal Mine Surveillance and Management System (CMSMS) for reporting unauthorized coal mining activities so that monitoring and taking suitable action on it can be done by concerned Law & Order enforcing authority. 

The 4th edition of joint military exercise, “EX DHARMA GUARDIAN”, between India and Japan is being conducted at Camp Imazu in Shiga province, Japan from 17 February to 02 March 2023. Notably, in the series of military training exercises undertaken by India with various countries, Exercise DHARMA GUARDIAN is an annual training event with Japan.

KAVACH-2023, a national level hackathon was launched to identify innovative ideas and technological solutions for addressing the cyber security and cybercrime challenges of the 21st century. KAVACH-2023 is a unique kind of national hackathon jointly conducted by MoE’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, Bureau of Police Research and Development and Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.

The Khelo India National Ranking Women Weightlifting Tournament for Senior, Junior & Youth Women (3rd Phase) is set to be held in Patna from February 18–24. The women’s events are taking place under the Khelo India Sports for Women component of the Government of India’s flagship program, Khelo India.

The Global Tourism Investor Summit 2023 portal was also launched on the occasion. The Ministry of Tourism will organize 1st Global Tourism Investors’ Summit during 17-19 May 2023. 

The Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar inaugurated the Divya Kala Mela 2023 in Mumbai. In the Divya Kala Mela 2023, products from different parts of the country, including Jammu-Kashmir and the North-Eastern States, are being exhibited, along with handicrafts, handlooms, embroidery works and food items.

Indian Railways and India Posts have formally launched Rail Post Gati Shakti Express Cargo Service, Joint Parcel Product of Railways and India Post. It is an initiative of partnership between Indian Railways and India Posts in providing seamless logistics for the services sector in the country. 

Ministry of Panchayat Raj, Government of India, in close collaboration with Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, Government of Odisha and State Institute for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (SIRD&PR), Odisha, is organising the National Workshop on Localization of Sustainable Development Goals in Gram Panchayats. The Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the three-day Workshop.
