1.The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration in the field of regulation and supervision of regulated entities in their respective jurisdictions. The MoU facilitates technical cooperation and exchange of information. The MoU opens up avenues for cooperation between the two regulators, thereby strengthening the safety, stability and soundness of respective financial ecosystems and nurturing environments conducive to optimal business development and economic growth.

Øअंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सेवा केंद्र प्राधिकरण (आईएफएससीए) और भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक(आरबीआई) ने अपने संबंधित अधिकार क्षेत्र में विनियमित संस्थाओं के विनियमन और पर्यवेक्षण में सहयोग के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह समझौता-ज्ञापन तकनीकी सहयोग और सूचना के आदान-प्रदान की सुविधा प्रदान करता है। इसके साथ ही समझौता ज्ञापन दो नियामकों के बीच सहयोग के अवसर प्रदान करता है, जिससे संबंधित वित्तीय इकोसिस्टम की सुरक्षा, स्थिरता और सुदृढ़ता को मजबूत किया जा सके और सर्वोत्तम व्यापार विकास और आर्थिक विकास के अनुकूल वातावरण को प्रोत्साहन दिया जा सके।

2.The 26th edition of the multinational maritime exercise MALABAR 22 culminated in the seas off Japan on 15 November 2022. This edition also marked the 30th anniversary of the exercise and was hosted by the JMSDF. Malabar series of exercises began in 1992 as a bilateral exercise between the navies of India and US and gained further prominence with joining of the navies of Australia and Japan. Apart from operational drills and exercises, the bilateral logistics support agreements between the participating countries were validated during this edition of exercise Malabar. 

Ø बहुराष्ट्रीय समुद्री अभ्यास मालाबार 2022 के 26वें संस्करण का समापन दिनांक 15 नवंबर, 2022 को जापान में हुआ है । इस संस्करण के माध्यम से अभ्यास की 30वीं वर्षगांठ भी मनाई गई और जेएमएसडीएफ द्वारा इसकी मेजबानी की गई । मालाबार अभ्यास की यह श्रृंखला 1992 में भारत और अमेरिका की नौसेनाओं के बीच एक द्विपक्षीय अभ्यास के रूप में प्रारम्भ हुई थी एवं ऑस्ट्रेलिया तथा जापान की नौसेनाओं के शामिल होने के साथ यह अभ्यास और अधिक प्रमुख हो गया।  ऑपरेशनल ड्रिल्स एवं अभ्यासों के साथ-साथ, भाग लेने वाले देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय रसद समर्थन समझौतों को मालाबार अभ्यास के इस संस्करण के दौरान सत्यापित किया गया।

3.   World C.O.P.D. Day is observed every year on the third Wednesday of November. This year, it’s commemorated on November 16. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (C.O.P.D.) is a type of preventable and treatable progressive lung disease that is characterized by long-term respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation. Its main symptoms include shortness of breath and a cough. The most common cause of C.O.P.D. is tobacco smoking and other inhaled toxic particles and gasses.

Ø विश्व सी.ओ.पी.डी. दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष नवंबर के तीसरे बुधवार को मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष, यह 16 नवंबर को मनाया जा रहा है। क्रॉनिक ऑब्सट्रक्टिव पल्मोनरी डिजीज (C.O.P.D.) एक प्रकार का निवारण-योग्य और उपचार-योग्य फेफड़े का रोग है, जो दीर्घकालिक श्वसन लक्षणों और वायु-प्रवाह सीमा की विशेषता के साथ उत्पन्न होता है। इसके मुख्य लक्षणों में सांस की तकलीफ और खांसी शामिल है।  सीओपीडी का सबसे सामान्य कारण तम्बाकू धूम्रपान और अन्य साँस के विषैले कण और गैसें हैं।

4.World Philosophy Day is commemorated on the third Thursday of November every year. This year it will fall on November 17. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proclaimed it an International day in 2005. World Philosophy Day was first celebrated on November 21, 2002. World Philosophy Day is commemorated to encourage people in learning about philosophy and how to speak out their philosophical thoughts.

Ø विश्व दर्शन दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष नवंबर के तीसरे गुरुवार को मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष यह 17 नवंबर को पड़ेगा। संयुक्त राष्ट्र शैक्षिक, वैज्ञानिक और सांस्कृतिक संगठन (यूनेस्को) ने 2005 में इसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस घोषित किया है। विश्व दर्शन दिवस पहली बार 21 नवंबर, 2002 को मनाया गया था। विश्व दर्शन दिवस लोगों को दर्शन के बारे में सीखने और अपने दार्शनिक विचारों को बोलने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

5. The Bihar government will sign an MoU with the ICCR to help artists from the state, handicrafts and several other ethnic arts to get international exposure.  The Art and Culture Department of the state government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) in this regard on November 11. The state government will also organise Bihar-Diwas' (foundation day of the state) on March 22 in other countries after this MoU.

Ø बिहार सरकार राज्य के कलाकारों, हस्तशिल्प और कई अन्य जातीय कलाओं को अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रदर्शन दिलाने में मदद के लिए आईसीसीआर के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर करेगी। राज्य सरकार का कला एवं संस्कृति विभाग इस संबंध में 11 नवंबर को भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद (आईसीसीआर) के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर करेगा। इस एमओयू के बाद राज्य सरकार अन्य देशों में भी 22 मार्च को बिहार दिवस का आयोजन करेगी।

6.Sachin Bansal-backed Navi Technologies Ltd which sells financial products like personal loans, home loans, and general insurance etc., has appointed MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador. Dhoni will be the face of the company’s branding initiatives. The company has launched its first digital advertisement with the cricketer on Hotstar. The goal of this campaign is to promote its financial services by dismantling the old and conventional ways of this sector.

7.Telugu movie star Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, popularly known as Krishna, passed away on November 15. He was 79. His career which spanned more than five decades had him starring in more than 350 films across genres. He is the last among the five legends who literally ruled Telugu cinema from the 1960s to the 80s with the others being N.T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Shobhan Babu and Krishnam Raju.

8. India's national grid operator 'Power System Operation Corporation Ltd (POSOCO)' announced that it has changed its name to 'Grid Controller of India Ltd'. The name has been changed to reflect the critical role of grid operators in ensuring integrity, reliability, economy, resilience and sustainable operation of the Indian electricity grid. The Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India) operates the national load despatch centre (NLDC) and five regional load despatch centres (RLDCs).

Ø भारत के राष्ट्रीय ग्रिड ऑपरेटर 'पावर सिस्टम ऑपरेशन कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड (पोसोको)' ने घोषणा की है कि उसने अपना नाम बदलकर 'ग्रिड कंट्रोलर ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड' कर दिया है। भारतीय बिजली ग्रिड की अखंडता, विश्वसनीयता, अर्थव्यवस्था, लचीलापन और टिकाऊ संचालन सुनिश्चित करने में ग्रिड ऑपरेटरों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को दर्शाने के लिए इसका नाम परिवर्तित किया गया है। 'ग्रिड कंट्रोलर ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (ग्रिड-इंडिया) राष्ट्रीय भार प्रेषण केंद्र (NLDC) और पांच क्षेत्रीय भार प्रेषण केंद्र (RLDC) संचालित करता है।

9.The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday announced that the government has nominated Vivek Joshi to its central board. Joshi who is the secretary of the Department of Financial Services, will hold the position of Director at RBI. the central government has nominated Vivek Joshi, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India as a Director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India vice Sanjay Malhotra. He is also currently posted as Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs since January 2019.

Ø भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने घोषणा की है कि सरकार ने विवेक जोशी को अपने केंद्रीय बोर्ड में नामित किया है। जोशी; जो वित्तीय सेवा विभाग के सचिव हैं, वह आरबीआई में निदेशक का पद संभालेंगे। केंद्र सरकार ने विवेक जोशी, सचिव, वित्तीय सेवा विभाग, वित्त मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के केंद्रीय बोर्ड में निदेशक के रूप में संजय मल्होत्रा ​​​​के स्थान पर नामित किया है। वह वर्तमान में जनवरी 2019 से गृह मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल और जनगणना आयुक्त के रूप में भी कार्यरत हैं।

10.National Newborn Week is being celebrated across the country from November 15 to November 21. The focus of observing this week is on raising awareness about the care of newborns. The theme of the event is ‘Safety, quality and nurturing care - birth right of every newborn’. This year’s theme for NNW has been chosen to ensure reaching every newborn with quality and developmentally supportive health care services.

Ø पूरे देश में 15 नवंबर से 21 नवंबर तक राष्ट्रीय नवजात सप्ताह मनाया जा रहा है। इस सप्ताह को मनाने का उद्देश्य नवजात शिशुओं की देखभाल के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। इस आयोजन का विषय 'सुरक्षा, गुणवत्ता और पोषण देखभाल - हर नवजात शिशु का जन्म-अधिकार' है। राष्ट्रीय नवजात सप्ताह के लिए इस वर्ष की थीम, गुणवत्ता और विकासात्मक रूप से सहायक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाओं के साथ प्रत्येक नवजात शिशु तक पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए चुनी गई है।
