1.     The State Bank of India (SBI) will manage the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Bangladesh for two more years. The agreement to extend the operations for two more years was signed between the officials of the SBI and the High Commission of India in Dhaka.

Ø भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) द्वारा दो और वर्षों के लिए बांग्लादेश में भारतीय वीज़ा आवेदन केंद्र (आईवीएसी) का प्रबंधन किया जाएगा। एसबीआई और ढाका में भारतीय उच्चायोग के अधिकारियों के बीच इस संचालन को दो और वर्षों के लिए विस्तारित करने के समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं।

2.     The global football governing body FIFA has suspended the All India Football Federation (AIFF) due to undue influence from third parties. In a statement, FIFA termed it a serious violation of the FIFA Statutes.

Ø वैश्विक फुटबॉल शासी निकाय फीफा ने तीसरे पक्ष के अनुचित हस्तक्षेप और प्रभाव के कारण अखिल भारतीय फुटबॉल महासंघ (एआईएफएफ) को निलंबित कर दिया है। फीफा, अखिल भारतीय फुटबॉल महासंघ की हाल की गतिविधियों को अपने नियमों के गंभीर उल्लंघन के रूप में देख रहा है।

3.     The Union Cabinet has approved the signing of an Audio-Visual Co-production Treaty between India and Australia, which is aimed at facilitating joint production of films between the two countries. India has so far signed 15 audio visual co-production treaties with other countries.

4.     United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed Rear Admiral Guillermo Pablo Rios of Argentina as the Head of Mission and Chief Military Observer for the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP).

Ø संयुक्त राष्ट्र (यूएन) के महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस ने अर्जेंटीना के रियर एडमिरल गुइलेर्मो पाब्लो रियोस को भारत और पाकिस्तान में संयुक्त राष्ट्र सैन्य पर्यवेक्षक समूह (यूएनएमओजीआईपी) के मिशन के प्रमुख और मुख्य सैन्य पर्यवेक्षक के रूप में नियुक्त किया है।

5.     Bharat Biotech has completed the clinical development for phase III trials and booster doses for the intranasal Covid-19 vaccine. Bharat Biotech - the manufacturer of Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin - said that it has completed the clinical development for phase III trials and booster doses for the BBV154 (Covaxin) intranasal Covid-19 vaccine.

Ø भारत बायोटेक ने तीसरे चरण के परीक्षणों और इंट्रानैसल कोविड -19 वैक्सीन के लिए बूस्टर खुराक के लिए नैदानिक विकास पूरा कर लिया है। भारत बायोटेक; जो कोविड -19 के वैक्सीन कोवैक्सिन का निर्माता है, ने कहा कि उसने BBV154 (कोवैक्सिन) इंट्रानैसल कोविड -19 वैक्सीन के लिए तीसरे चरण के परीक्षण और बूस्टर खुराक के लिए नैदानिक विकास पूरा कर लिया है।

6.     Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has enrolled more than 79 lakh children during the first four months (April-July) of the current financial year. Bal Aadhaar initiative will help parents and children avail multiple benefits. While 2.64 crore children in the 0-5 age group had Bal Aadhaar by March 31, 2022, this number has increased to 3.43 crore by the end of July 2022.

Ø भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) ने वर्तमान वित्त वर्ष के पहले चार माह (अप्रैल-जुलाई) के दौरान 79 लाख से अधिक बच्चों का नामांकन किया है। बाल आधार पहल से माता-पिता और बच्चों को कई लाभ प्राप्त करने में सहायता मिलेगी। 31 मार्च 2022 तक 0-5 आयु वर्ग के 2.64 करोड़ बच्चों के पास बाल आधार था, और जुलाई 2022 के अंत तक यह संख्या बढ़कर 3.43 करोड़ हो गई है।

7.     British health authorities on Monday authorised the use of Moderna’s Omicron variant-specific COVID-19 vaccine booster for adults, the first country to do so. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) granted conditional approval to Moderna’s bivalent vaccine, Spikevax, which combines mRNA sequences that code for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein from both the original and the Omicron BA.1 variant.

Ø ब्रिटिश स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने वयस्कों के लिए मॉडर्ना द्वारा ओमीक्रोन वैरिएंट के लिए विशेष रूप से बनाए गए COVID-19 वैक्सीन बूस्टर डोज के उपयोग को स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दिया है, और ऐसा करने वाला पहला देश बन गया है। मेडिसिन्स एंड हेल्थकेयर प्रोडक्ट्स रेगुलेटरी एजेंसी (MHRA) ने मॉडर्ना के द्विसंयोजक वैक्सीन, स्पाइकवैक्स को सशर्त स्वीकृति दी है, जो मूल और Omicron BA.1, दोनों प्रकार से SARS-CoV-2 स्पाइक प्रोटीन के लिए mRNA अनुक्रमों को जोड़ती है।

8.     The greenfield airport at Hollongi near Itanagar, was named Donyi Polo Airport. It will be able to accommodate 200 passengers during peak hours.This name of the airport; Donyi Polo will symbolise the age-old tradition and rich cultural heritage of the tribal state and also will reflect the people's age-old indigenous reverence on the Sun (Donyi) and the Moon (Polo).

Ø ईटानगर के पास होलोंगी में ग्रीनफील्ड हवाई अड्डे को डोनी पोलो हवाई अड्डे का नाम दिया गया है। यह व्यस्त-समय के दौरान 200 यात्रियों को समायोजित करने में सक्षम होगा। इस हवाई अड्डे का यह नाम; डोनी पोलो आदिवासी राज्य की सदियों पुरानी परंपरा और समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत का प्रतीक होगा और सूर्य (डोनी) और चंद्रमा (पोलो) पर लोगों की सदियों पुरानी स्थानीय श्रद्धा को भी प्रतिबिंबित करेगा।

9.     Piyush Goyal, an IAS officer of Nagaland cadre, has been appointed as the new NATGRID CEO by the Union government. The NATGRID or national intelligence grid is a federal intelligence gathering organisation created to enhance India’s counter-terrorism capabilities.

Ø नागालैंड कैडर के एक आईएएस अधिकारी पीयूष गोयल को केंद्र सरकार द्वारा NATGRID के सीईओ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। NATGRID या नेशनल इंटेलिजेंस ग्रिड भारत की आतंकवाद-विरोधी क्षमताओं को बढ़ाने के लिए बनाया गया एक केन्द्रीय इंटेलिजेंस संगठन है।

10.UN Secretary-General António Guterres has appointed Simon Stiell as the new Executive Secretary of the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat based in Bonn, Germany. With 197 Parties, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has near universal membership and is the parent treaty of the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement.

Ø संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरीस ने साइमन स्टील को बॉन, जर्मनी में स्थित संयुक्त राष्ट्र जलवायु परिवर्तन सचिवालय के नए कार्यकारी सचिव के रूप में नियुक्त किया है। 197 पार्टियों वाले, संयुक्त राष्ट्र फ्रेमवर्क कन्वेंशन ऑन क्लाइमेट चेंज (यूएनएफसीसीसी) की लगभग सार्वभौमिक सदस्यता है और यह 2015 पेरिस जलवायु परिवर्तन समझौते की आधारभूत संधि है।
