1. 4th edition of Indian Chemicals Council (ICC) Sustainability Conclave on the theme of ‘boardrooms to Community-ESG, Carbon Neutrality, Operational Safety, Greener Solutions’ has been inaugurated at New Delhi. The two-day event promotes sustainability in the management of the entire life cycle of chemicals. It is being organized jointly with United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) with due support of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.

Ø इंडियन केमिकल्स काउंसिल (आईसीसी) सस्टेनेबिलिटी कॉन्क्लेव के चौथे संस्करण का उद्घाटन नई दिल्ली में 'बोर्डरूम टू कम्युनिटी-ईएसजी, कार्बन न्यूट्रैलिटी, ऑपरेशनल सेफ्टी, ग्रीनर सॉल्यूशंस' की थीम पर किया गया है। दो दिवसीय आयोजन, रसायनों के संपूर्ण जीवन-चक्र के प्रबंधन में स्थिरता को प्रोत्साहन देता है। यह रसायन और उर्वरक मंत्रालय और पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय के उचित समर्थन के साथ संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम (यूएनईपी) और इंटरनेशनल काउंसिल ऑफ केमिकल एसोसिएशन (आईसीसीए) के साथ संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

2.NTPC’s QC Team from Unchahar ABHYUDAYA has won the "GOLD" award in the 47th International Convention on Quality Control Circle (ICQCC-2022). The convention is being held from 15th-18th November in Jakarta. The theme for ICQCC-2022 was “Built Back Better through Quality Efforts”. In March 2022, NTPC had been declared the “Dream Employer of the Year” at the 30th Session of the World HRD Congress.

Ø ऊंचाहार अभ्युदय से एनटीपीसी की क्यूसी टीम ने गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण परिधि पर 47वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन (आईसीक्यूसीसी-2022) में "स्वर्ण" पदक पुरस्कार जीता है। यह सम्मेलन जकार्ता में 15 से 18 नवंबर तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है। आईसीक्यूसीसी-2022 के लिए विषय-वस्तु "गुणवत्तापूर्ण प्रयासों के माध्यम से बेहतर निर्माण" रखी गई है। एनटीपीसी को मार्च 2022 के दौरान वर्ल्ड एचआरडी कांग्रेस के 30वें सत्र में "ड्रीम एम्प्लॉयर ऑफ द ईयर" घोषित किया गया था।

3.Exercise Sea Vigil-22, the two-day Coastal Defence exercise was conducted from 15-16 Nov 22. The conceptual and geographical expanse of Sea Vigil included contingencies ranging from Peace to War-time across the entire coastline and EEZ of the country. The exercise involved participation of more than 17 Government agencies from nine Coastal States and four Union Territories that are involved in the Coastal Defence Mechanism and Coastal Security construct. This edition of exercise Sea Vigil saw the largest participation from all maritime security agencies.

Ø दो दिवसीय तटीय रक्षा अभ्यास 'सी विजिल-22' दिनांक 15 नवंबर, 2022 से 16 नवंबर, 2022 तक आयोजित किया गया। अभ्यास 'सी विजिल' की अवधारणा और भौगोलिक विस्तार में देश के पूरे समुद्र तट और ईईजेड में शांति से लेकर युद्ध-काल तक के आकस्मिक ख़तरे शामिल थे। इस अभ्यास में नौ तटीय राज्यों और चार केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों की 17 से अधिक ऐसी सरकारी एजेंसियों की भागीदारी शामिल थी, जो तटीय रक्षा तंत्र और तटीय सुरक्षा संबंधी ढांचे में शामिल हैं। 'सी-विजिल' अभ्यास के इस संस्करण में सभी समुद्री सुरक्षा एजेंसियों से सबसे बड़ी भागीदारी देखी गई है।

4.     Madhya Pradesh has notified its PESA Rules on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas on 15th November, 2022.  At the State Level Janjatiya Gaurav Divas Sammelan at Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, Governor of Madhya Pradesh Shri Mangubhai Patel handed over the first copy of the Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act (PESA Act) Manual to the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Out of the ten PESA States, eight States namely; Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana have framed and notified their State PESA Rules under their respective State Panchayati Raj Acts.

Ø मध्य प्रदेश ने 15 नवंबर, 2022 को जनजातीय गौरव दिवस के अवसर पर अपने पेसा (PESA) नियमों को अधिसूचित किया है। मध्य प्रदेश के शाहडोल में राज्य स्तरीय जनजातीय गौरव दिवस सम्मेलन में मध्य प्रदेश के राज्यपाल श्री मंगूभाई पटेल ने भारत की राष्ट्रपति श्रीमती द्रौपदी मुर्मू को पेसा अधिनियम की पहली प्रति सौंपी। दस पेसा राज्यों में से आठ राज्य अर्थात्; आंध्र प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, गुजरात, हिमाचल प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान और तेलंगाना ने अपने संबंधित राज्य पंचायती राज अधिनियमों के अंतर्गत अपने राज्य पेसा नियम बनाए और अधिसूचित किए हैं।

5. Recently, India- Norway join hands to for a GREEN MARITIME SECTOR. MoPSW (Ministry of Ports,Shipping and Waterways)  is working diligently to develop the Maritime Sector as a goal of MIV 2030. In this regard 8th Norway-India Joint Working Group Maritime meeting was held on17th November,2022 in Mumbai. India-Norway Joint Working Group on Maritime meetings are being held on a regular basis. The 7th JWG on Maritime was held in Oslo in November, 2019.

Ø हाल ही में, भारत-नॉर्वे ने हरित समुद्री क्षेत्र के लिए एक समझौता किया है। MoPSW (बंदरगाह, नौवहन और जलमार्ग मंत्रालय) MIV 2030 के लक्ष्य के रूप में समुद्री क्षेत्र को विकसित करने के लिए समर्पित होकर कार्य कर रहा है। इस संबंध में 8वीं नॉर्वे-भारत संयुक्त कार्य समूह समुद्री बैठक मुंबई में 17 नवंबर, 2022 को आयोजित की गई थी। समुद्री बैठकों पर भारत-नॉर्वे संयुक्त कार्य समूह नियमित आधार पर आयोजित किया जा रहा है। नवंबर, 2019 में ओस्लो में मैरीटाइम पर 7वां जेडब्ल्यूजी आयोजित किया गया था।

6. National Naturopathy Day is observed in India every year on November 18th, to promote positive mental and physical health through drug-free therapy. National Naturopathy Day was established on November 18th 2018 by the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. On November 18th 1945, Mahatma Gandhi became the Chairman of the All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust and signed the agreement aimed at making the benefits of Nature Cure available to all classes of people, therefore, this day was chosen to be observed as National Naturopathy Day.

Ø दवा मुक्त चिकित्सा के माध्यम से सकारात्मक मानसिक और शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष 18 नवंबर को भारत में राष्ट्रीय प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा दिवस मनाया जाता है। राष्ट्रीय प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा दिवस की स्थापना 18 नवंबर 2018 को आयुष मंत्रालय (आयुर्वेद, योग और प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा, यूनानी, सिद्ध और होम्योपैथी), भारत सरकार द्वारा की गई थी। 18 नवंबर 1945 को, महात्मा गांधी; ऑल इंडिया नेचर क्योर फाउंडेशन ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष बने थे और प्रकृति चिकित्सा के लाभों को सभी वर्गों के लोगों को उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किया था, इसलिए, इस दिन को राष्ट्रीय प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने के लिए चुना गया था।

7.World Antibiotic Awareness Week raises our consciousness every November 18-24 about antibiotic resistance and how the medical community is educating us about the proper use of these disease-fighting drugs. This year, the theme of WAAW is “Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance Together.”  World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) is a global campaign that is celebrated annually to improve awareness and understanding of AMR and encourage best practices among the public, One Health stakeholders and policymakers.

Ø विश्व एंटीबायोटिक जागरूकता सप्ताह प्रत्येक वर्ष नवंबर 18-24 को एंटीबायोटिक प्रतिरोध के बारे में और चिकित्सा समुदाय हमें इन रोग से लड़ने वाली दवाओं के उचित उपयोग के बारे में शिक्षित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष WAAW की थीम “रोगाणु-रोधी प्रतिरोध की मिलकर रोकथाम” है। विश्व रोगाणुरोधी जागरूकता सप्ताह (WAAW) एक वैश्विक अभियान है, जो रोगाणु-रोधी प्रतिरोध के बारे में जागरूकता और समझ में सुधार करने और जनता, स्वास्थ्य-हितधारकों और नीति-निर्माताओं के बीच सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाता है।

8. Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority has appointed Suraj Bhan as the chairman of the National Pension System Trust (NPS Trust), responsible for managing funds under the National Pension System (NPS). Consequent upon the tenure of the present chairman of the trust coming to an end on November 11, 2022, the authority has designated Suraj Bhan as chairperson of the board of the Trustee with effect from November 12, 2022. Bhan has been a Trustee on the Board of NPS Trust since 2018.

Ø पेंशन निधि नियामक एवं विकास प्राधिकरण ने सूरज भान को राष्ट्रीय पेंशन प्रणाली ट्रस्ट (एनपीएस ट्रस्ट) का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है, जो राष्ट्रीय पेंशन प्रणाली (एनपीएस) के अंतर्गत धन के प्रबंधन के लिए एक उत्तरदायी संस्था है। 11 नवंबर, 2022 को समाप्त होने वाले ट्रस्ट के वर्तमान अध्यक्ष के कार्यकाल के परिणामस्वरूप, प्राधिकरण ने सूरज भान को 12 नवंबर, 2022 से ट्रस्टी के बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नामित किया है। भान, वर्ष 2018 से एनपीएस ट्रस्ट के बोर्ड में ट्रस्टी हैं।

9.The National Commission for Women (NCW) launched the fourth phase of the Digital Shakti Campaign, a pan-India project on digitally empowering and skilling women and girls in cyberspace. In line with its commitment to creating safe spaces for women and girls online, Digital Shakti 4.0 is focused on making women digitally skilled and aware of standing up against any illegal/inappropriate activity online. NCW launched it in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation and Meta.

Ø राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (NCW) ने साइबर स्पेस में महिलाओं और लड़कियों को डिजिटल रूप से सशक्त बनाने और कौशल प्रदान करने की एक अखिल भारतीय परियोजना, डिजिटल शक्ति अभियान के चौथे चरण की शुरुआत की है। महिलाओं और लड़कियों के लिए ऑनलाइन सुरक्षित स्थान बनाने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप, डिजिटल शक्ति 4.0 महिलाओं को डिजिटल रूप से कुशल बनाने और ऑनलाइन माध्यम से हुए किसी भी अवैध/अनुचित गतिविधि के विरोध के लिए  जागरूक बनाने पर केंद्रित है। एनसीडब्ल्यू ने इसे साइबरपीस फाउंडेशन और मेटा के सहयोग से लॉन्च किया है।

10.The RBI has roped in at least five banks to work with it on a pilot project for its digital currency -- the Digital Rupee -- for the retail market.  these banks are State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank and HDFC Bank. The RBI is working on two fronts to test the central bank digital currency (CBDC): one for the wholesale market, for which a pilot project is already underway, and the other for retail (CBDC-R).
