1.      Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with global petroleum giant ExxonMobil for Deepwater exploration in East and West coasts of India. The collaboration areas focus on the Krishna Godavari and Cauvery Basins in the eastern offshore and the Kutch-Mumbai region in the western offshore.

Ø तेल एवं प्राकृतिक गैस निगम (ओएनजीसी) ने भारत के पूर्वी और पश्चिमी तटों में गहरे पानी में खोज के लिए वैश्विक पेट्रोलियम कंपनी एक्सॉनमोबिल के साथ हेड्स ऑफ एग्रीमेंट्स (एचओए) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। पूर्वी अपतट में कृष्णा-गोदावरी व कावेरी बेसिन और पश्चिमी अपतट में कच्छ-मुंबई क्षेत्र, इस सहयोग के अंतर्गत निर्धारित किए गए क्षेत्र हैं ।

2.      Recently launched 'NAMASTE' is a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) as a joint initiative of the MoSJE and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). 'NAMASTE' envisages safety and dignity of sanitation workers in urban India by creating an enabling ecosystem that recognizes sanitation workers as one of the key contributors in operations and maintenance of sanitation infrastructure.

Ø 'नमस्ते', सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय (एमओएसजेई) और आवास एवं शहरी कार्य मंत्रालय (एमओएचयूए) द्वारा हाल ही में प्रारम्भ की गई एक संयुक्त पहल है, जो सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय (एमओएसजेई) की एक केंद्रीय क्षेत्र की योजना है। 'नमस्ते', शहरी भारत में स्वच्छता कर्मचारियों के लिए एक सक्षम परिस्थितियों का निर्माण करते हुए, उनकी सुरक्षा और गरिमा की परिकल्पना करता है; जो स्वच्छता अवसंरचना का संचालन करने और रख-रखाव करने में प्रमुख अंशदाताओं के रूप में उन्हें मान्यता प्रदान करता है।

3.      Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, France and the Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), India signed a Contract to support the International Transport Forum (ITF) activities on the Indian Transport Sector.

Ø आर्थिक सहयोग एवं विकास संगठन, फ्रांस और प्रौद्योगिकी सूचना, पूर्वानुमान एवं आकलन परिषद (टीआईएफएसी) ने एक अनुबंध पर हस्‍ताक्षर किया है, जिससे भारतीय परिवहन क्षेत्र में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परिवहन मंच (आईटीएफ) की गतिविधियों का सहयोग किया जा सके।

4.      The south London home; where Dadabhai Naoroji, a prominent member of the Indian freedom struggle and Britain’s first Indian parliamentarian, lived for around eight years at the end of the 19th century, has been honoured with a commemorative Blue Plaque. The Blue Plaque scheme, run by the English Heritage charity, honours the historic significance of particular buildings across London.

Ø भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के प्रतिष्ठित सदस्य रहे और ब्रिटेन के पहले भारतीय सांसद दादाभाई नौरोजी दक्षिण लंदन के जिस घर में लगभग आठ वर्षों तक रहे, उसे ‘ब्लू प्लैक’ अर्थात नीली पट्टिका से सम्मानित किया गया है। ‘इंग्लिश हैरिटेज’ चैरिटी की योजना ‘ब्लू प्लैक’ लंदन की ऐतिहासिक महत्व की इमारतों को दिया जाने वाला एक सम्मान है।

5.      The Centre and the board of newly created National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) has appointed Rajkiran Rai G as its managing director (MD) for nearly five years.

Ø केंद्र सरकार और नव-निर्मित नेशनल बैंक फॉर फाइनेंसिंग इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर एंड डेवलपमेंट (एनएबीएफआईडी) के बोर्ड ने लगभग पांच वर्षों के लिए राजकिरण राय जी० को एनएबीएफआईडी का प्रबंध निदेशक (एमडी) नियुक्त किया है।

6.      Ireland all-rounder Kevin O'Brien called time on his international cricket career. Ever since making his debut in Making his debut for Ireland in 2006, O'Brien played a key role in the team’s rise and went on to feature in three Tests, 153 ODIs and 110 T20Is. In his international career, he scored 5850 runs and bagged 172 wickets.

7.      A team of clinicians and scientists from the LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, and Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), have collaborated to develop the 3D-printed cornea from the human donor corneal tissue.

Ø एल वी प्रसाद आई इंस्टीट्यूट (एलवीपीईआई), इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी-हैदराबाद (आईआईटीएच), और सेंटर फॉर सेल्युलर एंड मॉलिक्यूलर बायोलॉजी (सीसीएमबी) के शोधकर्ताओं ने संयुक्त रूप से मानव-दाता कॉर्नियल ऊतक से एक 3 डी-मुद्रित कॉर्निया विकसित किया है।

8.      The Odisha Government has signed an MoU with the Chennai-based National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) for the protection of coastal areas from various natural calamities like flood, cyclone, soil erosion and high tide, etc. The Odisha coastal areas face natural calamities every year due to the effects of climate change.

Ø ओडिशा सरकार ने विभिन्न प्राकृतिक आपदाओं जैसे बाढ़, चक्रवात, मिट्टी के कटाव और उच्च ज्वार आदि से तटीय क्षेत्रों की सुरक्षा के लिए चेन्नई स्थित राष्ट्रीय महासागर प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (एनआईओटी) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। प्रत्येक वर्ष जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभाव के कारण ओडिशा के तटीय क्षेत्रों को प्राकृतिक आपदाओं का सामना करना पड़ता है।

9.      Asia's oldest football tournament- Durand Cup has kicked off its 131st edition in Kolkata. The Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande will be visiting Manipur to witness the inaugural match to be held at Khuman Lampak Stadium situated in Imphal. The inaugural match in Imphal will be played between NEROCA FC and TRAU FC and both are the football teams of Manipur.

Ø एशिया का सबसे पुराना फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट- डूरंड कप के 131वें संस्करण की शुरुआत कोलकाता में की गई है। केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल मनोज पांडे इंफाल स्थित खुमान लम्पक स्टेडियम में होने वाले उद्घाटन मैच को देखने के लिए मणिपुर में उपस्थित रहेंगे। मणिपुर की दो फुटबॉल टीम NEROCA FC और TRAU FC के बीच इंफाल में उद्घाटन मैच खेला जाएगा ।

10.  Pension regulator PFRDA has added more convenience to subscribers of the National Pension System (NPS) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY), enabling voluntary contributions through the popular Unified Payments Interface (UPI); a real-time payment system. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has launched a UPI handle for depositing contributions through D-Remit for the benefit of subscribers.

Ø पेंशन नियामक पीएफआरडीए ने राष्ट्रीय पेंशन प्रणाली (एनपीएस) और अटल पेंशन योजना (एपीवाई) के ग्राहकों के लिए और अधिक सुविधा प्रदान की है, जो लोकप्रिय यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (यूपीआई); एक तत्काल भुगतान प्रणाली, के माध्यम से स्वैच्छिक योगदान को सक्षम बनाता है। पेंशन फंड नियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण (पीएफआरडीए) ने ग्राहकों के लाभ के लिए डी-रेमिट के माध्यम से सहयोग-राशि जमा करने के लिए एक यूपीआई हैंडल लॉन्च किया है।
