1.   Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mormugao (D67), second warship of the P15B class of stealth guided-missile destroyers, was commissioned at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on December 18, 2022. The event marked the formal induction of the second of the four ‘Visakhapatnam’ class destroyers, indigenously designed by the Indian Navy’s in-house organisation Warship Design Bureau and constructed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), Mumbai.

Ø स्टील्थ गाइडेड-मिसाइल डिस्ट्रॉयर पी15बी वर्ग के दूसरे युद्धपोत भारतीय नौसेना जहाज (आईएनएस) मोरमुगाओ (डी67) को 18 दिसम्‍बर, 2022 को मुंबई में नौसेना डॉकयार्ड में कमीशन किया गया है । इस समारोह के दौरान भारतीय नौसेना के संस्‍थानिक संगठन वॉरशिप डिजाइन ब्यूरो द्वारा स्वदेशी रूप से डिजाइन किए गए और मुंबई के मझगांव डॉक शिपबिल्डर्स लिमिटेड (एमडीएल) द्वारा निर्मित चार ‘विशाखापत्तनम’ श्रेणी के विध्वंसक में से दूसरे का औपचारिक रूप से समावेशन किया गया है ।

2.The 63rd Session of the IHRC will be organized on 18-19 December 2022 at Uttar Pradesh State Archives in Lucknow. The two days’ Session will comprise Inaugural and Business Session on the first day and Academic Session on the next day. A total of 24 papers based on the original sources of post 1600 of Indian history will be presented by the Scholars on various aspects of history. The Indian Historical Records Committee (IHRC) is an all India Forum of creators, custodians and users of records which was set up in 1919 to advice the Government of India on all issues connected with the management of records and their use for historical research.

Ø आईएचआरसी के 63वें सत्र का आयोजन 18-19 दिसंबर, 2022 को उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य अभिलेखागार, लखनऊ में किया जाएगा। दो दिवसीय सत्र में पहले दिन उद्घाटन और व्यावसायिक सत्र और अगले दिन शैक्षणिक सत्र का आयोजन किया जाएगा। विद्वानों द्वारा भारतीय इतिहास में 1600 ई. के पश्चात के मूल स्रोतों पर आधारित कुल 24 शोधपत्र इतिहास के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर प्रस्तुत किए जाएंगे। भारतीय ऐतिहासिक अभिलेख समिति (आईएचआरसी) अभिलेखों के रचनाकारों, संरक्षकों और उपयोगकर्ताओं का एक अखिल भारतीय मंच है, जिसकी स्थापना 1919 में अभिलेखों के प्रबंधन और ऐतिहासिक अनुसंधान के लिए उनके उपयोग से जुड़े सभी मुद्दों पर भारत सरकार को सलाह देने के लिए की गई थी।

3.National Miner NMDC won the coveted IEI (Institution of Engineers, India) Industry Excellence Award 2022 in Chennai. The largest producer of the iron ore in the country was felicitated at the 37th Indian Engineering Congress for its outstanding performance and high level of business excellence. The Institution of Engineers (India) has given the Industry Excellence Award to NMDC, after reviewing the business operations, financial performance, environmental performance, research and development, CSR and corporate governance policies of a company. 

Ø राष्ट्रीय खनिक, एनएमडीसी ने चेन्नई में प्रतिष्ठित आईईआई (इंस्टीट्यूशन ऑफ इंजीनियर्स, इंडिया) उद्योग उत्कृष्टता पुरस्कार 2022 प्राप्त किया है। देश में लौह अयस्क के सबसे बड़े उत्पादक को, उसके उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन और उच्च स्तर की व्यावसायिक उत्कृष्टता के लिए 37वीं भारतीय इंजीनियरिंग कांग्रेस में सम्मानित किया गया है। इंस्टीट्यूशन ऑफ इंजीनियर्स (इंडिया) ने कंपनी के व्यवसाय संचालन, वित्तीय प्रदर्शन, पर्यावरण प्रदर्शन, अनुसंधान और विकास, सीएसआर और कॉर्पोरेट प्रशासन नीतियों की समीक्षा के बाद एनएमडीसी को उद्योग उत्कृष्टता पुरस्कार प्रदान किया है।

4. Union Minister for Science & Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh, who is also the Vice President of CSIR (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research), today announced the launching of "One Week, One Lab" countrywide campaign from 6th January, 2023. CSIR was established on 26 September 1942 and was registered as a CSIR Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The first meeting of the Governing Body was held on 09 March 1942 that framed the Bye Laws for the Council amongst other agenda items.

Ø केंद्रीय विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री, डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह; जो वैज्ञानिक एवं औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (सीएसआईआर) के उपाध्यक्ष भी हैं, ने आज आगामी 6 जनवरी, 2023 से देशव्यापी अभियान "एक सप्ताह एक प्रयोगशाला (वन वीक, वन लैब)" देशव्यापी अभियान प्रारम्भ  करने की घोषणा की है। वैज्ञानिक एवं औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (सीएसआईआर) की स्थापना 26 सितंबर, 1942 को हुई थी और इसे समिति पंजीकरण अधिनियम,1860 के अंतर्गत सीएसआईआर सोसायटी के रूप में पंजीकृत किया गया था। शासी निकाय की पहली बैठक 09 मार्च, 1942 को आयोजित की गई थी जिसने अन्य चर्चा-बिंदु के बीच परिषद के लिए उप-नियम तैयार किए थे।

5.  Mr. Hardeep S. Puri, Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, addressed the Plenary Session at the 7th Petrochemical Conclave at New Delhi. The Conclave aims to provide a comprehensive platform for varied Petrochemical stakeholders to deliberate on the opportunities and challenges with the sector and brainstorm on the impacts of forces like energy transition, Crude Oil to Chemicals, Industry 4.0, emerging Green pathways, and Circular economy. 

Ø केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम एवं प्राकृतिक गैस और आवास और शहरी मामलों के मंत्री श्री हरदीप एस. पुरी ने नई दिल्ली में 7वें पेट्रोकेमिकल कॉन्क्लेव में पूर्ण सत्र को संबोधित किया है। इस कॉन्क्लेव का उद्देश्य विभिन्न पेट्रोकेमिकल हितधारकों को क्षेत्र के साथ अवसरों और चुनौतियों पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए एक व्यापक मंच प्रदान करना और एनर्जी ट्रांजिशन, कच्चे तेल से रसायन, उद्योग 4.0, उभरते हुए ग्रीन विकल्पों और सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी जैसी ताकतों के प्रभावों पर विचार-मंथन करना है।

6.The Reserve Bank will issue two tranches of Sovereign Gold Bonds, which will open for public subscription in December and March. Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs) 2022-23-Series III will open for subscription during the December 19-December 23 period and the 2022-23-Series IV during March 06-10, 2023. These bonds are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government. The SGBs will be sold through Scheduled Commercial banks (except Small Finance Banks, Payment Banks and Regional Rural Banks), Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL), designated post offices, and stock exchanges -- NSE and BSE.

Ø भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक सॉवरेन गोल्ड बॉन्ड की दो किश्तें जारी करेगा, जो दिसंबर और मार्च में सार्वजनिक अभिदान के लिए खुलेंगे। सॉवरेन गोल्ड बॉन्ड (एसजीबी) 2022-23-श्रृंखला III 19 दिसंबर-दिसंबर 23 की अवधि के दौरान और 2022-23-श्रृंखला IV 06-10 मार्च, 2023 के दौरान सदस्यता के लिए खुलेगा। ये बांड सरकार की ओर से भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) द्वारा जारी किए जाते हैं। SGB को अनुसूचित वाणिज्यिक बैंकों (लघु वित्त बैंकों, भुगतान बैंकों और क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों को छोड़कर), स्टॉक होल्डिंग कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (SHCIL), क्लियरिंग कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (CCIL), नामित डाकघरों और स्टॉक एक्सचेंजों- एनएसई और बीएसई के माध्यम से बेचा जाएगा।

7.Argentina lifted the FIFA World Cup Football title for the third time, after beating defending Champion France 4-2 on penalties following a dramatic 3-3 draw in extra time in one of the most thrilling finals at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar. Messi clinched the Golden Ball award for the best player at the Fifa World Cup 2022 while Mbappe took the golden boot for being the top goal-scorer and Argentina's Emiliano Martinez won the Golden Glove for being the best goalkeeper.

8.Indian Air Force received 36th Rafale aircraft from France's Dassault Aviation. The last aircraft of Rafale fleet was received at air force station Hasimara in West Bengal. The IAF's 36th Rafale aircraft was welcomed with a water cannon salute. The aircraft was flown in from France and marks the completion of the delivery of all fighters.

Ø भारतीय वायुसेना को फ्रांस की डसॉल्ट एविएशन से 36वां राफेल विमान प्राप्त हुआ है। राफेल बेड़े का आखिरी विमान पश्चिम बंगाल के वायुसेना स्टेशन हासीमारा में प्राप्त हुआ है । भारतीय वायुसेना के 36वें राफेल विमान का वाटर कैनन सैल्यूट के साथ स्वागत किया गया। यह विमान फ्रांस से लाया गया था और सभी लड़ाकू विमानों की प्राप्ति हो चुकी है।

9.Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth over 6,800 crore rupees in Tripura and Meghalaya. In Tripura, the Prime Minister launched projects worth 4,350 crore rupees. The projects include 'Grih Pravesh' programme for beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Rural.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने त्रिपुरा और मेघालय में 6,800 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की कई विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किया है। त्रिपुरा में, प्रधान मंत्री ने 4,350 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया है। इन परियोजनाओं में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-शहरी और प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण के अंतर्गत लाभार्थियों के लिए 'गृह प्रवेश' कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत शामिल है।

10. Passenger ferry service is slated to commence from next month between India and Sri Lanka. The ferry service will connect the Kankesanthurai port in Jaffna district and Puducherry. The passenger ferry service is likely to boost the tourism sector as well as strengthen the cultural ties between the two countries. The service is being started in view of several demands to improve connectivity. The vessels under the new service will carry 300 to 400 passengers on a trip that would take about three and half hours.

Ø भारत और श्रीलंका के बीच यात्री नौका सेवा अगले माह  से प्रारम्भ होने वाला  है। फेरी सेवा, जाफना जिले में कांकेसंथुराई बंदरगाह और पुडुचेरी को जोड़ेगी। यात्री फेरी सेवा से पर्यटन क्षेत्र को प्रोत्साहन मिलने के साथ-साथ दोनों देशों के बीच सांस्कृतिक संबंध मजबूत होने की संभावना है। कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार की कई मांगों को देखते हुए यह सेवा शुरू की जा रही है। नई सेवा के अंतर्गत जहाज 300 से 400 यात्रियों को एक यात्रा पर ले जाएंगे, जिसमें लगभग साढ़े तीन घंटे लगेंगे।
