1.     15-¬year¬-old, Pranav Anand from Bengaluru, Karnataka became India’s 76th Chess GrandMaster (GM) after winning against International Master (IM) Emin Ohanyan of Armenia. He received the title after he crossed the 2,500 Elo points in the ongoing World Youth Chess Championship in Mamaia, Romania. A month before Pranav Anand became India’s 76th GM, Pranav Venkatesh became India’s 75th Grandmaster.

Ø 15 वर्षीय, बेंगलुरु, कर्नाटक के प्रणव आनंद अर्मेनिया के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मास्टर (आईएम) एमिन ओहानियन के विरुद्ध जीत के साथ भारत के 76वें शतरंज ग्रैंडमास्टर  बने हैं। रोमानिया के ममिया में चल रही विश्व युवा शतरंज चैंपियनशिप में 2,500 एलो अंक पार करने के बाद उन्हें यह खिताब प्राप्त हुआ है। प्रणव आनंद के भारत के 76वें ग्रैंडमास्टर बनने से एक माह पहले प्रणव वेंकटेश भारत के 75वें ग्रैंडमास्टर बने थे।

2.     Blockchain analysis platform Chainalysis published its global crypto adoption index for 2022 of nations with the highest cryptocurrency adoption rate with India ranking fourth in the list, two spots down from last year. Chainalysis report noted that the emerging markets dominate the Global Crypto Adoption Index this year.

Ø ब्लॉकचैन विश्लेषण प्लेटफॉर्म Chainalysis ने 2022 देशों के लिए अपना वैश्विक क्रिप्टो एडॉप्शन इंडेक्स प्रकाशित किया है, जिसमें उच्चतम क्रिप्टोक्यूरेंसी अपनाने में भारत, इस सूची में चौथे स्थान पर है, जो पिछले वर्ष से दो स्थान नीचे है। Chainalysis रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि उभरते हुए बाजार इस वर्ष ग्लोबल क्रिप्टो एडॉप्शन इंडेक्स में विशेष स्थान रखते हैं।

3.     Born on December 22, 1928, Naresh Kumar, an international tennis star, died at 93 following a brief illness attributed to age-related complications on Wednesday, 14 September. Kumar went on to make his mark in Indian tennis after Independence. He reached the final of the then Northern Championships, now Manchester Open, in England in 1949. He later made it to the Indian Davis Cup team in 1952 and represented India for eight consecutive years.

Ø 22 दिसंबर, 1928 को जन्मे, एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय टेनिस स्टार, नरेश कुमार का 93 वर्ष की आयु में बुधवार, 14 सितंबर को आयु-संबंधी जटिलताओं के कारण निधन हो गया। आजादी के बाद कुमार ने भारतीय टेनिस में अपनी पहचान बनाई। वह 1949 में इंग्लैंड में तत्कालीन उत्तरी चैंपियनशिप; जो अब मैनचेस्टर ओपन है, के फाइनल में पहुंचे थे। बाद में उन्होंने 1952 में भारतीय डेविस कप टीम में जगह बनाई और लगातार आठ वर्षों तक भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया।

4.     Union Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has presented INSPIRE awards to 60 Start-Ups and financial support to over 53 thousand students. The award is instituted by the Department of Science and Technology and these innovators will be extended complete incubation support for their entrepreneurship journey.

Ø केंद्रीय विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री डॉ जितेंद्र सिंह ने 60 स्टार्ट-अप को इंस्पायर पुरस्कार और 53 हजार से अधिक छात्रों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की है। यह पुरस्कार विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग द्वारा स्थापित किया गया है और इन नव-प्रवर्तकों को उनकी उद्यमिता यात्रा के लिए पूर्ण ऊष्मायन सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।

5.     The rotational presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has been handed over to India in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Delhi will hold the presidency of the grouping for a year until September 2023. And next year, India will host the SCO summit. The leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States signed the Samarkand Declaration in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan. In the declaration, it is stated that the presidency of the SCO for the forthcoming period passes to India. The next meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State will be held in 2023 in India.

Ø उज्बेकिस्तान के समरकंद में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन का रोटेशनल प्रेसीडेंसी अब भारत को सौंप दिया गया है। सितंबर 2023 तक भारत एक वर्ष के लिए इस समूह की अध्यक्षता करेगा; और अगले वर्ष , भारत एससीओ शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा। शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) के सदस्य देशों के नेताओं ने समरकंद, उज्बेकिस्तान में राष्ट्राध्यक्षों की परिषद की बैठक में समरकंद घोषणा पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। घोषणा में, यह कहा गया है कि आगामी अवधि के लिए एससीओ की अध्यक्षता भारत को प्रदान की जाती है।

6.     Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the year long celebrations of Hyderabad Liberation Day at the parade grounds in Hyderabad. He hoisted the national flags and received a guard of honour from the paramilitary forces. Maharastra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Karnataka Transport Minister Sriramulu, Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy attend the event. Cultural troops from Maharashtra and Karnataka and Telangana participated in the parade on the occasion.

Ø केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने हैदराबाद के परेड मैदान में हैदराबाद मुक्ति दिवस के वर्ष भर चलने वाले समारोह का उद्घाटन किया है। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया और अर्धसैनिक बलों से गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर प्राप्त किया। इस कार्यक्रम में महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे और कर्नाटक के परिवहन मंत्री श्रीरामुलु, केंद्रीय संस्कृति मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी शामिल हुए। इस अवसर पर परेड में महाराष्ट्र और कर्नाटक और तेलंगाना के सांस्कृतिक सैनिकों ने भाग लिया।

7.     Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the leaders of Russia, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Turkey on the sidelines of the 22nd meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Uzbekistan's city of Samarkand. Discussions were held to deepen bilateral cooperation in various sectors. During the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issues of the food, fuel, and fertiliser crisis saying that concrete solutions must be found to tackle these challenges.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उज्बेकिस्तान के समरकंद शहर में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन की 22वीं बैठक के साथ-साथ रूस, उज्बेकिस्तान, ईरान और तुर्की के नेताओं से मुलाकात की। इसके अंतर्गत विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में द्विपक्षीय सहयोग को गहरा करने के लिए चर्चा की गई। रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन के साथ बैठक के दौरान, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने खाद्य, ईंधन और उर्वरक संकट के मुद्दों को उठाते हुए कहा कि इन चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए ठोस समाधान खोजा जाना चाहिए।

8.     The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi released wild Cheetahs - which had become extinct from India - in Kuno National Park. Cheetahs - brought from Namibia - are being introduced in India under Project Cheetah, which is world's first inter-continental large wild carnivore translocation project. Out of the eight Cheetahs there are five female and three male Cheetahs. The Prime Minister released Cheetahs at two release points in Kuno National Park.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कुनो राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में जंगली चीतों को छोड़ा, जो भारत से विलुप्त हो गए थे। नामीबिया से लाए गए चीतों को भारत में प्रोजेक्ट चीता के  अंतर्गत पुनर्स्थापित किया जा रहा है, जो विश्व की पहली अंतर-महाद्वीपीय विशालकाय जंगली मांसाहारी स्थानान्तरण परियोजना है। आठ चीतों में से पांच मादा और तीन नर चीते हैं। प्रधानमंत्री ने कुनो नेशनल पार्क में दो रिलीज पॉइंट्स पर चीतों को छोड़ा।

9.     A 15-day blood donation drive began on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya donating blood at a camp set up at Safdarjung Hospital here. The minister urged citizens to register on the Aarogya Setu app or e-Raktkosh portal to donate blood as part of the ‘Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav’, which will be held till October 1 — National Voluntary Blood Donation Day.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर शनिवार, 17 सितम्बर को 15 दिवसीय रक्तदान अभियान प्रारम्भ हुआ है, जिसमें केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने सफदरजंग अस्पताल में स्थापित एक शिविर में रक्तदान किया। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने नागरिकों से 'रक्तदान अमृत महोत्सव' के अंतर्गत रक्तदान करने के लिए आरोग्य सेतु ऐप या ई-रक्तकोश पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण करने का आग्रह किया, जो 1 अक्टूबर - राष्ट्रीय स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान दिवस तक आयोजित किया जाएगा।

10.CSIR’s popular science magazine “Vigyan Pragati” has created a new history. This magazine has received the National Rajbhasha Kirti Award (First position) and this award was given at the Second All India Rajbhasha Sammelan held during 14-15 September 2022 in the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium, Surat.

Ø सीएसआईआर की लोकप्रिय विज्ञान पत्रिका "विज्ञान प्रगति" ने एक नया इतिहास रच दिया है। इस पत्रिका ने राष्ट्रीय राजभाषा कीर्ति पुरस्कार (प्रथम स्थान) प्राप्त किया है और यह पुरस्कार पंडित दीन दयाल उपाध्याय इंडोर स्टेडियम, सूरत में 14-15 सितंबर 2022 के दौरान आयोजित दूसरे अखिल भारतीय राजभाषा सम्मेलन में दिया गया था।
