1`.November 2 has been observed as the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists (IDEI) for nearly a decade now. The day came into existence when the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) passed a resolution in December 2013. The date for IDEI was chosen to commemorate the assassination of two journalists in Mali on November 2, 2013.

Ø  लगभग एक दशक से 2 नवंबर को पत्रकारों के विरुद्ध अपराधों (आईडीईआई) के लिए दंड से मुक्ति के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन अस्तित्व में तब आया, जब संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा (यूएनजीए) ने दिसंबर 2013 में एक प्रस्ताव पारित किया था। आईडीईआई की यह तिथि 2 नवंबर, 2013 को माली में दो पत्रकारों की हत्या को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए चुनी गई थी।

2. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated North India's first hyper-scale data centre Yotta Yotta D1 built at the cost of Rs 5,000 crore and spread over an area of 3,00,000 square feet at the upcoming Data Centre Park in Greater Noida. Memorandums of Understanding worth Rs 39,000 crore were also signed between the Yogi Government and Hiranandani Group to be spent on projects in the next five years.

Ø  उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने ग्रेटर नोएडा में आगामी डेटा सेंटर पार्क में 5,000 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से निर्मित और 3,00,000 वर्ग फुट के क्षेत्र में विस्तृत उत्तर भारत के पहले हाइपर-स्केल डेटा सेंटर Yotta Yotta D1 का उद्घाटन किया है। इसके साथ ही अगले पांच वर्षों में परियोजनाओं पर खर्च करने के लिए योगी सरकार और हीरानंदानी समूह के बीच 39,000 करोड़ रुपये के समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

3. In Badminton, Indian pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty bagged the biggest title of their career, claiming the French Open Super 750 crown with a straight-game decimation of Chinese Taipei’s Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han in the men’s doubles final in Paris. The world number 8 pair, defeated Lu and Yang, ranked 25th, 21-13, 21-19. They became the first Indian men’s doubles pair to win the French Open title.

Ø  बैडमिंटन में, सात्विकसाईराज रंकीरेड्डी और चिराग शेट्टी की भारतीय जोड़ी ने पेरिस में पुरुष युगल फाइनल में चीनी ताइपे के लू चिंग याओ और यांग पो हान को  हराकर फ्रेंच ओपन सुपर 750 जीतने के साथ ही अपने करियर का सबसे बड़ा खिताब प्राप्त किया है। विश्व की 8वें नंबर की जोड़ी ने लू और यांग को  21-13, 21-19 से हराकर 25वीं रैंक हासिल की है। अब, फ्रेंच ओपन खिताब जीतने वाली यह पहली भारतीय पुरुष युगल जोड़ी बन गयी है।

4. The Ranipur Tiger Reserve in UP has become the 53rd tiger reserve of India. The Ranipur Tiger Reserve in Chitrakoot district is the fourth in the state after Dudhwa, Pilibhit and Amangarh.  The Ranipur Tiger reserve is just 150km from the Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh and is home to tigers, leopards, sloth bears, sambar, spotter deer, chinkara.

Ø  उत्तर प्रदेश में रानीपुर टाइगर रिजर्व, भारत का 53 वां टाइगर रिजर्व बन गया है। चित्रकूट जिले में रानीपुर टाइगर रिजर्व दुधवा, पीलीभीत और अमनगढ़ के बाद राज्य में चौथा टाइगर रिजर्व है। रानीपुर टाइगर रिजर्व मध्य प्रदेश में पन्ना टाइगर रिजर्व से सिर्फ 150 किमी दूर है और बाघों, तेंदुओं, सुस्त भालू, सांभर, स्पॉटर हिरण, चिंकारा पशुओं के लिए वास-स्थल है।.

5. Foreign Service Officer of 2001 batch Dr. Rajesh Ranjan has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. Dr. Ranjan is presently High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Botswana. He will replace IFS officer of 1996 batch Mr. Y. K. Sailas Thangal.

Ø  2001 बैच के विदेश सेवा अधिकारी डॉ राजेश रंजन को कोटे डी आइवर गणराज्य में भारत के अगले राजदूत के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। उनके शीघ्र ही कार्यभार ग्रहण करेंगे। डॉ. रंजन वर्तमान में बोत्सवाना गणराज्य में भारत के उच्चायुक्त हैं। वह 1996 बैच के आईएफएस अधिकारी श्री वाई के सैलास थंगल का स्थान लेंगे।

6. Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, inaugurated the 1st ASEAN-India Start-up Festival (AISF) on 27th October 2022 in Bogor, Indonesia. The four-day event is being hosted in conjunction with the Indonesia Research and Innovation Expo (INA-RIE) from the 27th until the 30th October 2022 at the Innovation Convention Centre, Cibinong Bogor, Indonesia. The AISF is part of a series of events to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the ASEAN-India diplomatic relationship.

Ø  डॉ. श्रीवरी चंद्रशेखर, सचिव, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग ने 27 अक्टूबर 2022 को बोगोर, इंडोनेशिया में पहले आसियान-भारत स्टार्ट-अप महोत्सव (एआईएसएफ) का उद्घाटन किया। चार दिवसीय कार्यक्रम का आयोजन इंडोनेशिया रिसर्च एंड इनोवेशन एक्सपो (INA-RIE) के संयोजन में 27 से 30 अक्टूबर 2022 तक इनोवेशन कन्वेंशन सेंटर, सिबिनॉन्ग बोगोर, इंडोनेशिया में किया जा रहा है। एआईएसएफ, आसियान-भारत राजनयिक संबंधों की 30वीं वर्षगांठ का उत्सव मनाने के लिए कई कार्यक्रमों के अंतर्गत आयोजित किया गया है।

7. Tata Steel veteran and its former MD Jamshed J. Irani passed away on October 31, 2022 in Jamshedpur. He was 86. Irani was associated with Tata Steel for 43 years. He retired from the board of Tata Steel in June 2011. He was conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2007 for his contribution to the industry. He was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Government of India in 2008 as an acknowledgment of his services in the area of metallurgy.

Ø  टाटा स्टील के दिग्गज और इसके पूर्व एमडी जमशेद जे ईरानी का 31 अक्टूबर, 2022 को जमशेदपुर में निधन हो गया। वह 86 वर्ष के थे। ईरानी 43 वर्ष तक टाटा स्टील से जुड़े रहे। वह जून 2011 में टाटा स्टील के बोर्ड से सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे। उद्योग-क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए उन्हें 2007 में पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था। धातु-विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में उनकी सेवाओं को सम्म्मान  देते हुए वर्ष 2008 में भारत सरकार द्वारा उन्हें लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड दिया गया था।

8. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the inaugural function of Invest Karnataka 2022, the Global Investors Meet of the state, on 2nd November, 2022. The Meet is aimed at attracting prospective investors and setting up development agenda for the next decade. The three-day programme, being held from 2nd to 4th November in Bengaluru.

Ø  प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी 2 नवंबर, 2022 को इन्वेस्ट कर्नाटक 2022, राज्य की ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स मीट (वैश्विक निवेशक बैठक) के उद्घाटन समारोह को संबोधित करेंगे। इस बैठक का उद्देश्य संभावित निवेशकों को आकर्षित करना और अगले दशक के लिए विकास एजेंडा स्थापित करना है। यह तीन दिवसीय कार्यक्रम, 2 से 4 नवंबर तक बेंगलुरु में आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

9. Goa is hosting the three-day Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) Conference from 1st to 3rd November 2022.  “Think Global, Collaborate Regional, Accomplish Local” is the theme of this year’s conference. CANSO – the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation – is the global voice of the air traffic management (ATM) industry and is shaping our future skies.

Ø  गोवा, 1 से 3 नवंबर 2022 तक तीन दिवसीय सिविल एयर नेविगेशन सर्विसेज ऑर्गनाइजेशन (CANSO) सम्मेलन की मेजबानी कर रहा है। इस वर्ष के सम्मेलन का विषय "थिंक ग्लोबल, कोलैबोरेट रीजनल, एक्सप्लिश लोकल"  है। CANSO - सिविल एयर नेविगेशन सर्विसेज ऑर्गनाइजेशन - हवाई यातायात प्रबंधन (एटीएम) उद्योग की वैश्विक आवाज है और लोगों के लिए भविष्य के आकाश को आकार दे रहा है।

10. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina conferred the prestigious ‘Friends of Liberation War’ honour on former US Senator Edward M Kennedy posthumously in Dhaka for his contribution to the liberation of Bangladesh. The honour was handed over to his son Edward M Ted Kennedy Junior.

Ø  बांग्लादेश की प्रधानमंत्री शेख हसीना ने बांग्लादेश की मुक्ति में योगदान के लिए ढाका में पूर्व अमेरिकी सीनेटर एडवर्ड एम कैनेडी को मरणोपरांत प्रतिष्ठित 'फ्रेंड्स ऑफ लिबरेशन वॉर' सम्मान से सम्मानित किया है। यह सम्मान उनके बेटे एडवर्ड एम टेड कैनेडी जूनियर को सौंपा गया है।
