2 Septembetr Current Affairs

1.     A multilateral strategic and command Exercise Vostok - 2022 has commenced at the training grounds of the Eastern Military District of Russia from 01 to 07 September 2022. The exercise is aimed at interaction and coordination amongst other participating military contingents and observers. The Indian Army contingent comprising of troops from 7/8 Gorkha Rifles had arrived at the exercise location and over the next seven days will undertake joint man oeuvres to include joint field training exercises, combat discussions, and firepower exercises.

Ø बहुस्तरीय सामरिक और कमान अभ्यास वोस्तोक-2022 रूस के पूर्वी सैन्य जिले के प्रशिक्षण मैदान में प्रारम्भ हुआ। यह सैन्याभ्यास 01 सितंबर से 07 सितंबर, 2022 तक चलेगा। इसका उद्देश्य दोनों प्रतिभागी सैन्य दलों तथा पर्यवेक्षकों के बीच आदान-प्रदान और समन्वय स्थापित करना है। भारतीय सैन्य दल में 7/8 गोरखा राइफल्स के सैनिक शामिल हैं। भारतीय दल अभ्यास-स्थल पर पहुंचकर वहां अगले सात दिनों से अधिक समय तक संयुक्त अभ्यास करेगा। इस अभ्यास में संयुक्त मैदानी प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास, मुठभेड़ की प्रक्रिया पर चर्चा और हथियार चलाने का अभ्यास शामिल है।

2.     Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah launched the "CAPF e-AWAS" web portal in New Delhi. Ministry of Home Affairs said, increasing the Housing Satisfaction Ratio for CAPFs personnel is one of the priority areas of the Government. In order to operationalise the revised policy of allotment and to also bring transparency to the allotment process, a common web-portal 'CAPF eAwas' has been developed. The web-portal will enable online registration and allotment of residential quarters to eligible personnel of CAPFs and Assam Rifles.

Ø केंद्रीय गृह एवं सहकारिता मंत्री श्री अमित शाह ने नई दिल्ली में CAPF eAwas वेब पोर्टल का शुभारंभ किया। गृह मंत्रालय के अनुसार, सीएपीएफ कर्मियों के लिए आवास संतुष्टि अनुपात बढ़ाना सरकार के प्राथमिकता क्षेत्रों में से एक है। आवंटन की संशोधित नीति को क्रियान्वित करने और आवंटन प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता लाने के लिए एक सामान्य वेब-पोर्टल 'सीएपीएफ ई आवास' विकसित किया गया है। यह वेब-पोर्टल, सीएपीएफ और असम राइफल्स के पात्र कर्मियों को आवासीय क्वार्टरों के ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण और आवंटन को सक्षम करेगा।

3.     Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology Dr Jitendra Singh announces India’s first indigenously developed vaccine, “CERVAVAC” for the prevention of cervical cancer. Dr Jitendra Singh said, this affordable and cost- effective vaccine marks an important day for DBT and BIRAC as it takes India a step closer to vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Ø केंद्रीय विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने सर्वाइकल कैंसर की रोकथाम के लिए भारत के पहले स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित टीका- ' CERVAVAC' की घोषणा की है। डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि यह अवसर डीबीटी (जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग) और बीआईआरएसी (जैव प्रौद्योगिकी उद्योग अनुसंधान सहायता परिषद) के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण दिन है, क्योंकि इस सस्ते और लागत प्रभावी टीके का निर्माण 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' के अनुरूप है।

4.     The Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs & Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri presented Smart Solutions Challenge & Inclusive Cities Awards 2022. These awards are an initiative of the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and the United Nations (UN) in India to address city-level accessibility and inclusion challenges faced by persons with disabilities (PwD), women and girls, and the elderly.

Ø आवासन एवं शहरी कार्य और पेट्रोलियम एवं प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्री श्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने ‘स्मार्ट समाधान चुनौती और समावेशी शहर पुरस्कार 2022’ प्रस्तुत किए। नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ अर्बन अफेयर्स (एनआईयूए) और संयुक्त राष्ट्र (यूएन) ने भारत में दिव्यांगों (पीडब्ल्यूडी), महिलाओं, लड़कियों और बुजुर्गों के सामने आने वाली शहरी स्तर पर सुलभता तथा समावेशन से जुड़ी चुनौतियों के समाधान के लिए इन पुरस्कारों की शुरुआत की है।

5.     A four-day “Jigyasa for Renewable Fuel” program under Jigyasa 2.0 program was successfully organized for the students of XIth class of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior during 29 Aug-01 Sept 2022 at CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. The main objective of the program is to give an exposure to different technologies developed for the utilization of non-edible vegetable oils, used cooking oil and waste plastic to different types of fuels.

Ø सीएसआईआर-भारतीय पेट्रोलियम संस्थान, देहरादून में सिंधिया कन्या विद्यालय, ग्वालियर के ग्यारहवीं कक्षा के छात्रों के लिए जिज्ञासा 2.0 कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत चार दिवसीय "नवीकरणीय ईंधन के लिए जिज्ञासा" कार्यक्रम का 29 अगस्त-1 सितंबर 2022 के दौरान सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य अखाद्य वनस्पति तेलों, उपयोग किए जा चुके खाना पकाने के तेल और अपशिष्ट प्लास्टिक के विभिन्न प्रकार के ईंधन के उपयोग के लिए विकसित विभिन्न प्रौद्योगिकियों के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करना है।

6.     After Telangana, Rajasthan has become the second state in the country to establish Mahila Nidhi scheme. Credit and Finance for MSMEs: To ensure easy loans for women in business, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched a women-only loan scheme 'Mahila Nidhi'.

Ø तेलंगाना के बाद, राजस्थान महिला निधि योजना स्थापित करने वाला देश का दूसरा राज्य बन गया है। एमएसएमई के लिए ऋण और वित्त: व्यवसाय में महिलाओं के लिए सुलभ ऋण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने केवल महिला हेतु ऋण योजना 'महिला निधि' प्रारम्भ की है।

7.     In Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K Police has launched online Mobile application "JK Ecop", an easy way to use interface to facilitate common people. The Mobile App enables the citizens to use a host of services ranging from registering a complaint to downloading a copy of FIR.

Ø जम्मू और कश्मीर में, जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस ने आम लोगों की सुविधा के लिए इंटरफेस का उपयोग करने के उद्देश्य से ऑनलाइन मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन "जेके इकोप" लॉन्च किया है। यह मोबाइल ऐप नागरिकों को शिकायत दर्ज करने से लेकर प्राथमिकी की एक प्रति डाउनलोड करने तक की सेवाओं का उपयोग करने में सक्षम बनाता है।

8.     The Andhra Pradesh State government entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the U.S.-based “Parley for the Oceans” on plastic-waste management in Andhra Pradesh. As part of the MoU, around ₹16,000 crore investment is expected for Andhra Pradesh in the next six years. This apart, about 20,000 employment will be generated for the locals with a minimum of at least ₹16,000 salary per month.

Ø आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य सरकार ने राज्य में प्लास्टिक-अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन के लिए अमेरिका स्थित "महासागरों के लिए पार्ले" के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किया है। एमओयू के अंतर्गत, अगले छह वर्षों में आंध्र प्रदेश के लिए लगभग ₹ 16,000 करोड़ के निवेश की उम्मीद है। इसके साथ ही, प्रति माह कम से कम ₹16,000 वेतन के साथ स्थानीय लोगों के लिए लगभग 20,000 रोजगार सृजित होंगे।

9.     The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) has signed an agreement with ICICI Bank for the development of financial accounting software and mobile application. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) provides for the development of financial accounting software for NMDFC and State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs), loan accounting software for receiving and processing of loan applications and accounting of repayments from beneficiaries.

Ø राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक विकास और वित्त निगम (एनएमडीएफसी) ने वित्तीय लेखांकन सॉफ्टवेयर और मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन के विकास के लिए आईसीआईसीआई बैंक के साथ एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह समझौता ज्ञापन एनएमडीएफसी और राज्य चैनलाइजिंग एजेंसियों (एससीए) के लिए वित्तीय लेखांकन सॉफ्टवेयर के विकास, ऋण आवेदन प्राप्त करने और प्रसंस्करण के लिए ऋण लेखांकन सॉफ्टवेयर और लाभार्थियों से पुनर्भुगतान के लेखांकन की सुविधा प्रदान करता है।

10.New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme has announced his retirement from international cricket. He represented New Zealand in 29 matches, scoring 1432 runs at 38.70 and picking up 49 wickets. He featured in 18 wins, playing a key role in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship campaign against India in Southampton.

Ø न्यूजीलैंड के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी कॉलिन डी ग्रैंडहोम ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने 29 मैचों में न्यूजीलैंड का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है, 38.70 पर 1432 रन बनाए हैं और 49 विकेट लिए हैं। उन्होंने साउथेम्प्टन में भारत के विरुद्ध उद्घाटन आईसीसी विश्व टेस्ट चैम्पियनशिप अभियान में के साथ कुल 18 मैचों में जीत हासिल करते हुए महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई थी।
