1.     International Equal Pay Day, celebrated on 18 September, represents the longstanding efforts towards the achievement of equal pay for work of equal value. It further builds on the United Nations' commitment to human rights and against all forms of discrimination, including discrimination against women and girls.

Ø अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समान वेतन दिवस 18 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है, जो समान मूल्य के काम के लिए समान वेतन की उपलब्धि की दिशा में लंबे समय से किए जा रहे प्रयासों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। साथ ही यह मानव अधिकारों और महिलाओं व लड़कियों के विरुद्ध होने वाले भेदभाव सहित सभी प्रकार के भेदभाव के प्रति संयुक्त राष्ट्र की प्रतिबद्धता को सुनिश्चित करता है।

2.     World Bamboo Day is observed on September 18 with a focus on creating awareness about bamboo and its use. The day aims to give more exposure to the economic potential of bamboo as well as to highlight the importance of its cultivation in new industries. 

Ø विश्व बांस दिवस 18 सितंबर को बांस और इसके उपयोग के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने पर ध्यान देने के लिए मनाया जाता है। इस दिन का उद्देश्य बांस की आर्थिक क्षमता के साथ-साथ नए उद्योगों में इसकी खेती के महत्व को उजागर करना है।

3.     The three-day National Conference of State Tourism Ministers at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh began with a press conference chaired by Shri G Kishan Reddy. The National Conference of State Tourism Ministers aims to bring in diverse viewpoints and perspectives from all the States and Union Territories of India on tourism development and growth and to create a direct dialogue with the States on Schemes, policies and steps being taken at a national level for overall tourism improvement in India.

Ø हिमाचल प्रदेश के धर्मशाला में राज्य पर्यटन मंत्रियों का तीन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन श्री जी किशन रेड्डी की अध्यक्षता में एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन के साथ प्रारम्भ हुआ। राज्य पर्यटन मंत्रियों के राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य, भारत में समग्र पर्यटन सुधार के लिए पर्यटन विकास और वृद्धि पर भारत के सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से विविध दृष्टिकोण और विचार को साथ लाना और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आयोजित/संचालित की जा रही योजनाओं, नीतियों और कदमों पर राज्यों के साथ सीधा संवाद स्थापित करना है।

4.     The sixth edition of the Japan India Maritime Exercise 2022, JIMEX 22 hosted by the Indian Navy concluded in the Bay of Bengal with the two sides bidding farewell to each other with a customary steam past on 17 Sep 22. The exercise, which marked the tenth anniversary of JIMEX since its inception in 2012, consolidated the mutual understanding and interoperability between the two navies.

Ø भारतीय नौसेना द्वारा आयोजित जापान-भारत समुद्री अभ्‍यास 2022 का छठा संस्करण, जेआईएमईएक्‍स 22 बंगाल की खाड़ी में संपन्न हुआ। इसके पश्‍चात दोनों पक्षों ने 17 सितम्‍बर, 2022 को पारंपरिक स्टीम पास्ट के साथ एक-दूसरे को विदाई दी। वर्ष 2012 में अपनी स्थापना के बाद से इस अभ्यास के माध्‍यम से जेआईएमईएक्‍स की दसवीं वर्षगांठ मनाई गई है। अभ्‍यास के दौरान दोनों नौसेनाओं के बीच आपसी समझ और पारस्‍परिक सामंजस्‍य को और मजबूत किया गया।

5.     District Disability Rehabilitation centres (DDRC) spread across the country are providing effective rehabilitation services to the persons with disabilities for last two decades. These centres are run jointly by District Management Team headed by DM/Collector and a reputed NGO (Usually Indian Red Cross Society). To upscale their services, a MODEL DDRC has been conceptualised by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India.

Ø देश भर में विस्तृत जिला दिव्यांगता पुनर्वास केंद्र (डीडीआरसी) पिछले दो दशकों से दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों को प्रभावी पुनर्वास सेवाएं प्रदान कर रहे हैं। ये केंद्र डीएम/कलेक्टर की अध्यक्षता वाली जिला प्रबंधन टीम और एक प्रतिष्ठित एनजीओ (सामान्यतः इंडियन रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से चलाए जाते हैं। उनकी सेवाओं को बढ़ाने के लिए, भारत सरकार के सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय में दिव्यांगता सशक्तिकरण विभाग द्वारा एक मॉडल डीडीआरसी की अवधारणा प्रस्तुत की गई है।

6.     The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai, and Vedanta Medical Research Foundation’s flagship initiative, BALCO Medical Centre (BMC), Raipur, Chhattisgarh, have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to drive excellence in cancer care in the country. As per the MoU, the BALCO Medical Centre and Tata Memorial Centre will join forces for exchange of knowledge, and enhancement of skills, capabilities and core practices.

Ø टाटा मेमोरियल सेंटर, मुंबई और वेदांता मेडिकल रिसर्च फाउंडेशन की प्रमुख पहल, बाल्को मेडिकल सेंटर, रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ ने देश में कैंसर की देखभाल में उत्कृष्टता लाने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार, बाल्को मेडिकल सेंटर और टाटा मेमोरियल सेंटर ज्ञान के आदान-प्रदान, और कौशल, क्षमताओं एवं मूल प्रथाओं को बढ़ाने के लिए आपस में सहयोग करेंगे।

7.     Recently, The Indian Swachhata League ; an inter-city competition ‘played’ was launched on the parameters of swachhata powered by the youth of the city. The first edition of the ISL witnessed a record of sorts with more than half a million youth joining hands for clean beaches, hills and tourist spots. The Indian Swachhata League kick starts the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav, a fortnight of activities to galvanize action around swachhata from 17th Sept. 2022, Seva Diwas, till 2nd Oct. 2022, Gandhi Jayanti.

Ø हाल ही में, इंडियन स्वछता लीग; जो शहर के युवाओं द्वारा संचालित स्वच्छता के मानकों पर एक अंतर-शहर प्रतियोगिता है, आयोजित की गई थी। आईएसएल के पहले संस्करण में साफ समुद्र तटों, पहाड़ियों और पर्यटन स्थलों के लिए पांच लाख से अधिक युवाओं ने प्रतिभाग किया है। इंडियन स्वछता लीग, स्वच्छ अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत प्रारम्भ किया गया है, जो 17 सितंबर, 2022, सेवा दिवस से लेकर 2 अक्टूबर, 2022, गांधी जयंती तक स्वच्छता से सम्बंधित क्रियाकलापों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए गतिविधियों का एक समर्पित पखवाड़ा है।

8.     Narayan Rane, Minister, MSME in the presence of Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Manoj Kumar inaugurated 72 Units assisted under PMEGP and Disbursed Margin Money Subsidy to 720 PMEGP Beneficiaries on 17th September at KVIC Office, Mumbai today. The Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of MSME, which was launched in September 2008 by merging the erstwhile Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP) implemented by KVIC and Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana (PMRY) implemented by District Industries Centers.

Ø सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यम-एमएसएमई मंत्री श्री नारायण राणे ने खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग (केवीआईसी) के अध्यक्ष श्री मनोज कुमार की उपस्थिति में आज 17 सितंबर को मुंबई में खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग के कार्यालय में प्रधानमंत्री रोज़गार सृजन कार्यक्रम-पीएमईजीपी के अंतर्गत सहायता प्राप्त 72 इकाइयों और प्रधानमंत्री रोज़गार सृजन कार्यक्रम के 720 लाभार्थियों को वितरित मार्जिन मनी सब्सिडी का उद्घाटन किया। प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार सृजन कार्यक्रम (पीएमईजीपी) सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम-एमएसएमई मंत्रालय की एक प्रमुख योजना है, जिसे सितंबर 2008 में खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग-केवीआईसी द्वारा कार्यान्वित तत्कालीन ग्रामीण रोजगार सृजन कार्यक्रम (आरईजीपी) और जिला उद्योग केंद्र द्वारा लागू प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार योजना (पीएमआरवाई) को मिलाकर प्रारम्भ किया गया था।

9.     The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Pralay Mondal as the managing director and chief executive officer of CSB Bank for three years. Mondal was the deputy managing director of the bank since February 17, 2022 and was subsequently appointed as interim MD & CEO with effect from April 1, 2022.

Ø भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए सीएसबी बैंक के प्रबंध निदेशक और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी के रूप में प्रलय मंडल की नियुक्ति को स्वीकृति दे दी है। मंडल 17 फरवरी, 2022 से बैंक के उप प्रबंध निदेशक थे और बाद में उन्हें 1 अप्रैल, 2022 से अंतरिम एमडी और सीईओ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था।

10.The Finance Ministry has issued draft guidelines for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) to raise resources from capital market, paving the way for raising funds via rights issue, private placement with select investors such as large banks and insurance companies, and initial public offerings (IPO).

Ø वित्त मंत्रालय ने क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों (आरआरबी) के लिए पूंजी बाजार से संसाधन जुटाने, राइट्स इश्यू के माध्यम से धन जुटाने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करने, बड़े बैंकों और बीमा कंपनियों जैसे चुनिंदा निवेशकों के साथ निजी प्लेसमेंट और प्रारंभिक सार्वजनिक प्रस्तुतीकरण (आईपीओ) के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं।
