On World Thinking Day, female scouts are encouraged to build enduring bonds with one another that prioritise loyalty and respect. ‘Our World, Our Peaceful Future’, the theme for World Thinking Day 2023.

The 18th UIC World Security Congress commenced in Jaipur, India. The 3-day Conference is being jointly organized by the International Union of Railways (UIC), Paris and the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Theme of the Congress is “Railway Security Strategy: Responses and Vision for Future”.

The first G20 Working Group (CWG) meeting of Culture will begin at Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. The Meeting is scheduled to be organised from 22nd to 25th February. Cultural programs will be organised including the Khajuraho Dance Festival Cultural performances.

North India’s first nuclear plant will be installed in Haryana’s Gorakhpur. Bulk approval of the installation of 10 nuclear reactors has been given a nod by the Centre. The Department of Atomic Energy has also been permitted to form joint ventures with Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) for resources to open atomic energy plants.

India and Egypt held the third meeting of their Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism in New Delhi. Security cooperation, particularly on terror-related issues, will form one of the pillars of the India-Egypt strategic partnership in the future. This was decided by both sides during the recent visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, during which he attended Republic Day 2023 as Chief Guest.
