1.With the GI tagging of Kashmiri Saffron in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the farmers have been able to market their produce on national and international marketing platforms. Kashmir saffron, which is cultivated and harvested in the Karewa (highlands) of Jammu and Kashmir, has been given the Geographical Indication (GI) tag by the Geographical Indications Registry in 2020.

Ø  केंद्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू और कश्मीर में कश्मीरी केसर; जिसे जीआई टैग प्राप्त हो चुका है, को अब किसान राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विपणन प्लेटफार्मों पर विपणन कर सकेंगे। कश्मीर केसर; जिसकी खेती और कटाई जम्मू और कश्मीर के करेवा (हाईलैंड्स) में की जाती है, को भौगोलिक संकेत रजिस्ट्री द्वारा 2020 में भौगोलिक संकेत (जीआई) टैग दिया गया था।

2.Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will lead the Joint Indian Ministerial official delegation of the Ministry of Power, New and Renewable Energy, and Ministry of Science and Technology on a 5-day visit to the USA to participate in the Global Clean Energy Action Forum. The delegation headed by Union Minister will participate in the Global Clean Energy Action Forum scheduled from September 21 to 23 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ø  केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह, ग्लोबल क्लीन एनर्जी एक्शन फोरम में भाग लेने के लिए संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की 5 दिवसीय यात्रा के साथ-साथ विद्युत, नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय और विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के संयुक्त भारतीय मंत्रिस्तरीय आधिकारिक प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करेंगे। केंद्रीय मंत्री की अध्यक्षता में प्रतिनिधिमंडल 21 से 23 सितंबर तक पेंसिल्वेनिया के पिट्सबर्ग में होने वाले ग्लोबल क्लीन एनर्जी एक्शन फोरम में भाग लेगा।

3.After renaming Aurangabad, Maharashtra government has now decided to rename Daulatabad Fort as Devgiri. Earlier Aurangabad was renamed as Sambhaji Nagar. The fort located around 14 km from Aurangabad city is a national heritage monument maintained by the Archeological Survey of India.

Ø  औरंगाबाद का नाम बदलने के बाद, महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने अब दौलताबाद किले का नाम बदलकर देवगिरी करने का निर्णय लिया है। इससे पहले, औरंगाबाद का नाम बदलकर संभाजी नगर कर दिया गया था। औरंगाबाद शहर से लगभग 14 किमी दूर स्थित एक किला है, और भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा संरक्षित एक राष्ट्रीय विरासत स्मारक है।

4.Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh launched the ‘CM Da Haisi’ web portal at the chief minister’s Secretariat on September 19. The web portal will help people to lodge complaints and grievances to the CM.

Ø  मणिपुर के मुख्यमंत्री एन बीरेन सिंह ने 19 सितंबर को मुख्यमंत्री सचिवालय में 'सीएम दा हैसी' वेब पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है। यह वेब पोर्टल लोगों को सीएम को शिकायतें और परिवाद दर्ज करने में सहायता प्रदान करेगा।

5.Google Cloud announced it has launched the first cohort of the its computing foundations with Kubernetes course in collaboration with FutureSkills Prime, an IT Ministry and Nasscom digital skilling initiative. The beginner-level course aims to provide participants an opportunity to experience cloud computing, cloud basics, big data and machine learning (ML).

Ø  Google क्लाउड ने घोषणा की है कि उसने फ्यूचरस्किल्स प्राइम, आईटी मंत्रालय और नैसकॉम डिजिटल स्किलिंग पहल के सहयोग से कुबेरनेट्स कोर्स के साथ अपने कंप्यूटिंग फाउंडेशन का पहला समूह लॉन्च किया है। प्रारम्भिक स्तर के पाठ्यक्रम का उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों को क्लाउड कंप्यूटिंग, क्लाउड बेसिक्स, बिग डेटा और मशीन लर्निंग (एमएल) का अनुभव करने का अवसर प्रदान करना है।

6 In Ladakh, Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pandey has inaugurated Kargil International Marathon. Over 2000 runners are taking part in the Full, Half, 10Km, and 5 Km run in the event organized by (Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council) LAHDC Kargil, Ladakh Police in collaboration with Sarhad Pune.

Ø  लद्दाख में सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल मनोज पांडे ने कारगिल इंटरनेशनल मैराथन का उद्घाटन किया है। (लद्दाख स्वायत्त पहाड़ी विकास परिषद) एलएएचडीसी कारगिल, लद्दाख पुलिस द्वारा 'सरहद पुणे' के सहयोग से आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में 2000 से अधिक धावक पूर्ण, आधा, 10 किमी और 5 किमी दौड़ में भाग ले रहे हैं।

7.Chennai-based Munoth Industries Ltd (MIL), promoted by Munoth group, is set to commission what it calls India’s first full-fledged lithium-ion cell manufacturing unit at Electronic Manufacturing Cluster 2 [EMC 2], located at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The installed capacity of the plant at present is 270 MWH and can produce 20,000 cells of 10Ah capacity daily. These cells are used in power banks and this capacity is around 60 per cent of India’s present requirement.

Ø  मुनोथ समूह द्वारा प्रवर्तित चेन्नई स्थित मुनोथ इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (MIL), आंध्र प्रदेश के तिरुपति में स्थित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक विनिर्माण क्लस्टर 2 [EMC 2] में भारत की पहली पूर्ण लिथियम-आयन सेल निर्माण इकाई को प्रारम्भ कर रहा है। वर्तमान में संयंत्र की स्थापित क्षमता 270 मेगावाट है और प्रतिदिन 10 एएच क्षमता के 20,000 सेल का उत्पादन कर सकता है। इन सेल का उपयोग पावर बैंक उपकरण में किया जाता है और यह क्षमता भारत की वर्तमान आवश्यकता का लगभग 60 प्रतिशत है।

8.Every year on September 22, World Rhino Day is observed to spread awareness about the different Rhinoceros species and the dangers they face. This day also celebrates all five rhino species namely the Sumatran, Black, Greater One-horned, Javan, and White rhino species.

Ø  प्रत्येक वर्ष 22 सितंबर को विभिन्न गैंडों की प्रजातियों और उनके सामने आने वाले खतरों के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए विश्व गैंडा दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन सभी पांच राइनो प्रजातियों अर्थात् -सुमात्रान, ब्लैक, ग्रेटर वन-हॉर्न, जावन और व्हाइट राइनो प्रजातियों के संरक्षण के लिए समर्पित है।

9.The Railway Protection Force (RPF) celebrated its 38th Raising Day on 20th September 2022 by organizing a parade for the first time at the central level at Jag Jeevan Ram RPF Academy, Lucknow. This is the first time that a National Level Parade of RPF was organized outside New Delhi. The Railway Protection Force was constituted by an Act of Parliament in 1957 for providing security to Railway property.

Ø  रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) ने अपना 38वां स्थापना दिवस 20 सितंबर 2022 को जगजीवन राम आरपीएफ अकादमी, लखनऊ में केंद्रीय स्तर पर पहली बार परेड आयोजित कर मनाया। यह पहली बार हुआ है जब नई दिल्ली से बाहर आरपीएफ की राष्ट्रीय स्तर की परेड का आयोजन किया गया। रेलवे की संपत्ति को सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए वर्ष 1957 में संसद में पारित एक अधिनियम के जरिए रेलवे सुरक्षा बल का गठन किया गया था।

10.The 11th Foundation Day Celebration of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) was held on 20th September. "Solar Energy Corporation of India ltd" (SECI) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), set up on 20th Sept, 2011. The mandate of the company has also been broadened to cover the entire renewable energy domain.

Ø  सौर ऊर्जा निगम लिमिटेड (एसईसीआई) का 11वां स्थापना दिवस समारोह 20 सितंबर को आयोजित किया गया। "सौर ऊर्जा निगम लिमिटेड" (एसईसीआई) 20 सितंबर, 2011 को स्थापित नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय (एमएनआरई) के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण के अंतर्गत एक केंद्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र का उपक्रम है। कंपनी का अधिदेश, संपूर्ण अक्षय ऊर्जा क्षेत्र को कवर करना है।
