1.In an impetus for higher education, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the state’s first government-run English Medium College. The new college- Sri Aurobindo General Degree College has been set up at the old DIET building in Kunjaban of Agartala.

Ø उच्च शिक्षा को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए, त्रिपुरा के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. माणिक साहा ने राज्य के पहले सरकारी अंग्रेजी माध्यम कॉलेज का उद्घाटन किया है। अगरतला के कुंजाबन में पुराने DIET भवन में नया कॉलेज- श्री अरबिंदो जनरल डिग्री कॉलेज स्थापित किया गया है।

2. Around 1 percent of the world’s population suffers from stuttering. With an intention to raise awareness among public about stuttering, October 22 was declared International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD) in 1998. This day is observed to educate people about the complexity of the disorder, work in preventing stuttering in children, and let people know that help and resources are available. The day also backs research to find the causes of stuttering.

Ø विश्व की लगभग 1 प्रतिशत आबादी हकलाने (अटक या रुककर बोलना) की समस्या से पीड़ित है। हकलाने के बारे में जनता में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य  से, 22 अक्टूबर को 1998 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हकलाना जागरूकता दिवस (ISAD) घोषित किया गया था। यह दिन लोगों को इस विकार की जटिलता के बारे में शिक्षित करने, बच्चों में हकलाने को रोकने में सहायता करने और लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। यह दिन हकलाने के कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए शोध का भी समर्थन करता है।

3. In the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) awards, Uttar Pradesh bagged the first position followed by Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu at second and third place, respectively. Gujarat saw five special category awards. Madhya Pradesh got three special category awards followed by Jammu and Kashmir, which was adjudged the ‘Best Performing UT’ alongside Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. PMAY-U scheme is aimed at confronting and tiding over the shortage of housing facilities in urban India for beneficiaries under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Low-Income Groups (LIGs) and Middle-Income Groups (MIGs) categories.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना - शहरी (पीएमएवाई-यू) पुरस्कारों में, उत्तर प्रदेश ने पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया है, उसके बाद क्रमशः मध्य प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु ने दूसरा और तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया। गुजरात राज्य ने पांच विशेष श्रेणी के पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए। मध्य प्रदेश को तीन विशेष श्रेणी के पुरस्कार मिले, और इसके साथ ही जम्मू और कश्मीर, जिसे दादरा और नगर हवेली और दमन और दीव के साथ 'सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाला केंद्र शासित प्रदेश' चुना गया। PMAY-U योजना का उद्देश्य आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग (EWS), निम्न-आय वर्ग (LIG) और मध्यम-आय समूह (MIG) श्रेणियों के अंतर्गत आने वाले लाभार्थियों के लिए शहरी भारत में आवास सुविधाओं की कमी को पहचानते हुए उसे दूर करना है।

4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually participate in Griha Pravesham of four lakh 51 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin at Satna in Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister will address the gathering on this occasion. Around 29 lakh houses have been completed in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of more than 35 thousand crore rupees under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin. About 38 lakh houses have been sanctioned in Madhya Pradesh so far.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मध्य प्रदेश के सतना में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण के चार लाख 51 हजार लाभार्थियों के गृह प्रवेश में भाग लेंगे. इस मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री जनसभा को संबोधित करेंगे। मध्य प्रदेश में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण के अंतर्गत 35 हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की लागत से लगभग 29 लाख घरों का निर्माण किया जा चुका है। मध्य प्रदेश में अब तक करीब 38 लाख आवास स्वीकृत किए जा चुके हैं।

5.The financial Action Task Force (FATF) has removed Pakistan from its grey list after four years. This inglorious grey listing has adversely impacted Pakistan's imports, exports, and remittances and limited its access to international lending. Pakistan has been on the Paris-based watchdog's grey list for deficiencies in its counter-terror financing and anti-money laundering regimes since June 2018.

Ø फाइनेंशियल एक्शन टास्क फोर्स (FATF) ने चार वर्ष बाद पाकिस्तान को ग्रे लिस्ट से हटा दिया है। इस अपमानजनक ग्रे लिस्टिंग ने पाकिस्तान के आयात, निर्यात और प्रेषण पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डाला है और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऋण तक इसकी पहुंच सीमित कर दी है। पाकिस्तान जून 2018 से अपने आतंकवाद-रोधी वित्तपोषण और धन-शोधन रोधी व्यवस्थाओं में कमियों के लिए पेरिस स्थित निगरानी संस्था की ग्रे सूची में है।

6. In Badminton, India’s Lakshya Sen and the pair of Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy advanced to the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2022 at the Jyske Bank Arena in Odense, Denmark. Lakshya Sen beat compatriot HS Prannoy 21-9, 21-18. Lakshya now leads the head-to-head 3-2. Lakshya Sen will now either face Japan’s Kodai Naraoka or Lu Guang Zu of China in the quarter-final.

Ø बैडमिंटन में, भारत के लक्ष्य सेन और चिराग शेट्टी-सात्विकसाईराज रंकीरेड्डी की जोड़ी ने डेनमार्क के ओडेंस में जिस्के बैंक एरिना में डेनमार्क ओपन 2022 के क्वार्टर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया है। लक्ष्य सेन ने भारत के एचएस प्रणय को 21-9, 21-18 से हराया था। लक्ष्य अब आमने-सामने 3-2 से आगे हैं। लक्ष्य सेन अब क्वार्टर फाइनल में जापान के कोडाई नारोका या चीन के लू गुआंग ज़ू से अगला मुकाबला खेलेंगे।

7. Western Air Command, Indian Air Force (IAF) won the Air Force Lawn Tennis Championship 2022-23 held at Head Quarter MC, Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur. The final match of team Championship was played between Western Air Command and Training Command in which Western Air Command emerged as the winner. A total of eight teams comprising of 48 players from the seven Commands of Indian Air Force, participated in the Championship. The Championship was held in two events namely, Team Championship and Open Singles.

Ø पश्चिमी वायु कमान, भारतीय वायु सेना (IAF) ने हेड क्वार्टर एमसी, वायुसेना नगर, नागपुर में आयोजित वायु सेना लॉन टेनिस चैम्पियनशिप 2022-23 जीती है। टीम चैंपियनशिप का फाइनल मैच वेस्टर्न एयर कमांड और ट्रेनिंग कमांड के बीच खेला गया था, जिसमें वेस्टर्न एयर कमांड विजेता बनी। चैंपियनशिप में भारतीय वायु सेना की सात कमानों के 48 खिलाड़ियों की कुल आठ टीमों ने भाग लिया। यह चैंपियनशिप दो इवेंट्स; टीम चैंपियनशिप और ओपन सिंगल्स में आयोजित की गई थी।

8. The ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) is set to launch 36 broadband communication satellites aboard Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3), the space agency’s heaviest rocket. It is also LVM3’s first mission to LEO (low earth orbit), an orbit which is relatively closer to the Earth. The OneWeb Constellation, as per ISRO, operates in a LEO Polar Orbit, and satellites are arranged in 12 rings (Orbital planes) with 49 satellites in each plane. Meanwhile, with two solid motor strap-ons, liquid propellant core stage and a cryogenic stage, LVM3 is a three-stage vehicle.

Ø ISRO (भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन) अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी के सबसे भारी रॉकेट लॉन्च व्हीकल मार्क 3 (LVM3) पर सवार 36 ब्रॉडबैंड संचार उपग्रहों को लॉन्च करने जा रहा है। यह LVM3 का LEO (निम्न पृथ्वी की कक्षा); एक कक्षा जो अपेक्षाकृत पृथ्वी के करीब है, के लिए पहला मिशन भी है। वनवेब नक्षत्र, इसरो के अनुसार, एक LEO ध्रुवीय कक्षा में संचालित होता है, और उपग्रहों को प्रत्येक विमान में 49 उपग्रहों के साथ 12 रिंगों (कक्षीय विमानों) में व्यवस्थित किया जाता है। इस तरह, दो ठोस मोटर स्ट्रैप-ऑन, तरल प्रणोदक कोर चरण और एक क्रायोजेनिक चरण के साथ, LVM3 एक तीन चरण वाला वाहन है।

9. The Indian Panorama, flagship component of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), has today announced the selection of 25 feature films and 20 non feature films. The selected films will be showcased at the 53rd IFFI to be held from 20th - 28th November, 2022 in Goa. The aim of the Indian Panorama, organized by National Film Development Corporation, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, is to select feature and non-feature films of cinematic, thematic and aesthetic excellence in accordance with the conditions and procedure in the said regulations of Indian Panorama. A package of 25 Feature films have been selected to be screened in the Indian Panorama section at 53rd IFFI from a broad spectrum of 354 qualifying contemporary Indian feature films.

Ø भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव (आईएफएफआई) के प्रमुख घटक इंडियन पैनोरमा ने 25 फीचर फिल्मों और 20 गैर फीचर फिल्मों के चयन की घोषणा की है। इन सभी चयनित फिल्मों को गोवा में 20 से 28 नवंबर, 2022 तक आयोजित होने वाले 53वें आईएफएफआई में प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा। राष्ट्रीय फिल्म विकास निगम, सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा आयोजित भारतीय पैनोरमा का उद्देश्य, उक्त में शर्तों और प्रक्रिया के अनुसार सिनेमाई, विषयगत और सौंदर्य उत्कृष्टता की फीचर और गैर-फीचर फिल्मों का चयन करना है। 354 क्वालिफाइंग समकालीन भारतीय फीचर फिल्मों के व्यापक समूह में से 53वें आईएफएफआई में भारतीय पैनोरमा खंड में प्रदर्शित होने के लिए 25 फीचर फिल्मों के एक पैकेज का चयन किया गया है।

10. With an annual donation of Rs 1,161 crore, Software giant HCL's founder, Shiv Nadar, has bagged the title of 'India's Most Generous', as per the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2022. Nadar had donated Rs 3 crore per day. The 77-year-old tycoon, who was placed second after Wipro's Azim Premji last year, reclaimed the top spot in 2022. Wipro’s Azim Premji slipped to the second spot with an annual donation of Rs 484 crore, while Gautam Adani came seventh in the list with a donation of Rs 190 crore.

Ø EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2022 के अनुसार, 1,161 करोड़ रुपये के वार्षिक दान के साथ, सॉफ्टवेयर दिग्गज HCL के संस्थापक, शिव नादर ने 'इंडियाज मोस्ट जेनेरस' का खिताब हासिल किया है। नादर ने प्रतिदिन 3 करोड़ रुपये का दान दिया था। 77 वर्षीय टाइकून, जिन्हें पिछले वर्ष विप्रो के अजीम प्रेमजी के बाद दूसरे स्थान पर रखा गया था, ने 2022 में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया है। विप्रो के अजीम प्रेमजी 484 करोड़ रुपये के वार्षिक दान के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर आ गए हैं, जबकि गौतम अडानी 190 करोड़ रुपये के दान के साथ सूची में सातवें स्थान पर हैं।
