1.Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire. The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly. Two decades later, in 2001, the General Assembly unanimously voted to designate the Day as a period of non-violence and cease-fire.

Ø  प्रत्येक वर्ष 21 सितंबर को विश्व भर में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति दिवस मनाया जाता है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने इसे  अहिंसा और संघर्ष विराम के माध्यम से शांति के आदर्शों को मजबूत करने के लिए समर्पित दिन के रूप में घोषित किया है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति दिवस की स्थापना वर्ष 1981 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा की गई थी। दो दशक बाद, 2001 में, महासभा ने सर्वसम्मति से इस दिन को अहिंसा और संघर्ष विराम की अवधि के रूप में नामित करने के लिए मतदान किया था।

2.The Reserve Bank of India said Central Bank of India has been removed from the Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) framework watchlist following improvement in various parameters and a written commitment that the state-owned lender will comply with the minimum capital norms.

Ø  भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा है कि सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया को विभिन्न मानकों में सुधार और राज्य के स्वामित्व वाले ऋणदाता न्यूनतम पूंजी मानदंडों का पालन करने की लिखित प्रतिबद्धता के बाद त्वरित सुधारात्मक कार्रवाई (पीसीए) ढांचे की निगरानी सूची से हटा दिया गया है।

3.The Gujarati film Chhello Show has been announced as India's official entry to the Oscars 2023.  The Film Federation of India has announced India's official entry to the 95th Academy Awards. It has been selected in the Best International Feature Film category.  The film is set to release in theatres on October 14 in India. Chhello Show, which is titled Last Film Show in English, had its world premiere as the opening film at Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca Film Festival and has won multiple awards across various international film festivals.

Ø  गुजराती फिल्म छेल्लो शो को ऑस्कर 2023 के लिए भारत की आधिकारिक प्रविष्टि घोषित किया गया है। फिल्म फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने 95वें अकादमी पुरस्कारों के लिए इसकी घोषणा की है। छेल्लो शो को सर्वश्रेष्ठ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फीचर फिल्म श्रेणी में चुना गया है। यह फिल्म 14 अक्टूबर को भारतीय सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज़ होने वाली है। छेल्‍लो शो का शीर्षक अंग्रेजी में लास्‍ट फिल्म शो है। इस फिल्‍म का रॉबर्ट डे नीरो के ट्रिबेका फिल्म फेस्टिवल में उद्घाटन फिल्म के रूप में वर्ल्‍ड प्रीमियर हुआ था और इसने विभिन्न अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्म समारोहों में कई पुरस्कार जीते हैं।

4.World Alzheimer's Day is being observed today, September 21. Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia. It is a progressive brain disease which results in loss of memory and thinking skills.  It destroys the brain cells which causes memory loss, memory changes, erratic behaviour, and loss of body functions. This year the theme for world Alzheimer's month 2022 is - know dementia, know Alzheimer's.

Ø  विश्व अल्जाइमर दिवस 21 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है। अल्जाइमर रोग मनोभ्रंश का सबसे सामान्य रूप है। यह एक प्रगतिशील मस्तिष्क रोग है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप स्मृति और मानसिक-कौशल का नुकसान होता है। यह मस्तिष्क की कोशिकाओं को नष्ट कर देता है जो स्मृति-हानि, स्मृति-परिवर्तन, अनिश्चित व्यवहार और शरीर के कार्यों के नुकसान का कारण बनता है। इस वर्ष विश्व अल्जाइमर माह 2022 की थीम है- मनोभ्रंश को जानो, अल्जाइमर को जानो।

5.Comedian Raju Srivastava breathed his last at the age of 58 years at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Srivastava had been hospitalised since August 10 after he reported chest pain and collapsed while working out. He was under treatment for more than a month.

Ø  कॉमेडियन राजू श्रीवास्तव का 58 वर्ष की आयु में अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स), दिल्ली में निधन हो गया है। राजू श्रीवास्तव वर्कआउट के दौरान गिर गए थे और उनको सीने में दर्द की शिकायत के बाद 10 अगस्त से अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। एक महीने से अधिक समय से उनका इलाज चल रहा था

6.The International Cricket Council, ICC announced several changes to its playing conditions after the Chief Executives' Committee ratified recommendations from the Sourav Ganguly-led Men's Cricket Committee. Some of these new rules would be having historic effect on the game of Cricket itself. The main changes to the Playing Conditions will come into effect on 1st October, 2022.

Ø  अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद, ICC ने कोमुख्य कार्यकारी समिति द्वारा सौरव गांगुली के नेतृत्व वाली पुरुष क्रिकेट समिति की सिफारिशों की पुष्टि के बाद अपनी खेल नियमों में कई बदलावों की घोषणा की है। इन नए नियमों में से कुछ का क्रिकेट के खेल पर ऐतिहासिक प्रभाव पड़ेगा। खेल की शर्तों में मुख्य परिवर्तन 1 अक्टूबर, 2022 से प्रभावी होंगे।

7.Alia Bhatt has been awarded the Best Actor at the prestigious Priyadarshni Academy Smita Patil Memorial Award for her commendable contribution to Indian cinema at the 38th-anniversary celebrations of the premier non-profit, socio-cultural and educational organization, Priyadarshini Academy.

8.Union Bank of India on Monday launched end-to-end digitalization of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) product for farmers as part of its flagship digital transformation project ‘Sambhav’. The product, which seeks to make the KCC lending process more efficient and farmer friendly, is aimed at overcoming the challenges faced by farmers like in-person visit to a bank branch, submission of land ownership and other documents.

Ø  यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने अपनी प्रमुख डिजिटल परिवर्तन परियोजना 'संभव' के अंतर्गत किसानों के लिए किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड (केसीसी) उत्पाद का संपूर्ण डिजिटलीकरण प्रारम्भ किया है। यह उत्पाद; जो केसीसी उधार प्रक्रिया को और अधिक कुशल और किसान अनुकूल बनाने का प्रयास करता है, का उद्देश्य, किसानों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों जैसे- बैंक शाखा में व्यक्तिगत रूप से जाना, भूमि स्वामित्व और अन्य दस्तावेज जमा करना, का समाधान करना है।

9.Indian javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia has clinched a silver medal in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, in Morocco. Paralympics gold medalist Devendra threw the javelin to a distance of 60.97 meter to capture the silver. Devendra is a three-time Paralympics medalist.

Ø  भारतीय भाला फेंक खिलाड़ी देवेंद्र झाझरिया ने मोरक्को में विश्व पैरा एथलेटिक्स ग्रां प्री में रजत पदक जीता है। पैरालिंपिक के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता देवेंद्र ने र 60.97 मीटर की दूरी तक भाला फेंकते हुए रजत पदक प्राप्त किया। देवेंद्र तीन बार के पैरालिंपिक पदक विजेता हैं।

10.World Rose Day or the Day for Welfare of Cancer patients is marked every year on September 22. Dedicated to individuals suffering from cancer across the globe, the day is observed in remembrance of 12-year-old cancer patient Melinda Rose from Canada, who died from the disease in 1996.

Ø  विश्व गुलाब दिवस या कैंसर रोगियों के कल्याण दिवस को प्रत्येक वर्ष 22 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है। विश्व भर में कैंसर से पीड़ित व्यक्तियों को समर्पित, यह दिन कनाडा के 12 वर्षीय कैंसर रोगी मेलिंडा रोज की स्मृति में मनाया जाता है, जिनकी 1996 में इस बीमारी से मृत्यु हो गई थी।
