National Girl Child Day is celebrated on January 24 every year across the country. The Ministry of Women and Child Development initiated the day for girl children as National Girl Child Day in 2008. The day was initiated to particularly spread public awareness about inequities that girls face in Indian society. The objective of this day is to raise awareness among people regarding inequalities, discrimination, and exploitation faced by girls at different phases of their lives. International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated on October 11.
पूरे देश में प्रत्येक वर्ष 24 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस मनाया जाता है। महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय ने वर्ष 2008 में बालिकाओं के लिए राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के रूप में इस दिन की शुरुआत की थी। इस दिन की शुरुआत विशेष रूप से भारतीय समाज में लड़कियों के सामने आने वाली असमानताओं के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए की गई थी। इस दिन का उद्देश्य लड़कियों को उनके जीवन के विभिन्न चरणों में होने वाली असमानताओं, भेदभाव और शोषण के बारे में लोगों के बीच जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस 11 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाता है।
The International Day of Education is annually celebrated on January 24. This year marks the fifth year of celebration, with the theme ‘to invest in people, prioritise education’. The event will be celebrated on January 25 at the UNESCO headquarters in New York. “International Day of Education 2023 will be a global platform to sustain political mobilisation, take forward national commitments and global initiatives, and step up public engagement in favour of education as the path to peace, sustainable development and individual and collective well-being.
शिक्षा का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 24 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष उत्सव के पांचवें वर्ष को चिह्नित किया जा रहा है, जिसका विषय 'लोगों में निवेश करना, शिक्षा को प्राथमिकता देना' है। यह कार्यक्रम 25 जनवरी को न्यूयॉर्क में यूनेस्को मुख्यालय में मनाया जाएगा। शिक्षा का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 2023, राजनीतिक गतिशीलता को बनाए रखने, राष्ट्रीय प्रतिबद्धताओं और वैश्विक पहलों को आगे बढ़ाने और शांति, सतत विकास और व्यक्तिगत और सामूहिक कल्याण के मार्ग के रूप में शिक्षा के पक्ष में सार्वजनिक जुड़ाव में वृद्धि करने के लिए एक वैश्विक मंच होगा।
For the year 2023, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) and Lunglei Fire Station (LFS), Mizoram, both in the Institutional category, have been selected for the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar-2023 for their excellent work in Disaster Management. The Government of India has instituted an annual award known as Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar to recognize and honour the invaluable contribution and selfless service rendered by individuals and organizations in India in the field of disaster management.
संस्थागत श्रेणी में ओडिशा राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (ओएसडीएमए) और लुंगलेई फायर स्टेशन (एलएफएस), मिजोरम, दोनों का ही वर्ष 2023 के लिए आपदा प्रबंधन में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने के लिए सुभाष चंद्र बोस आपदा प्रबंधन पुरस्कार-2023 के लिए चयनित किया गया है। भारत सरकार ने आपदा प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में भारत में व्यक्तियों और संगठनों द्वारा दिए गए अमूल्य योगदान और निस्वार्थ सेवा को मान्यता देने तथा उन्हें सम्मानित करने के लिए सुभाष चंद्र बोस आपदा प्रबंधन पुरस्कार नामक एक वार्षिक पुरस्कार की स्थापना की है।
The planning meeting of the G20-Chief Science Advisers Roundtable (G20-CSAR) was held on January 20, 2023, in online mode, to discuss the agenda topics and planning for the proposed high-level roundtables. G20-CSAR is a government-to-government level initiative conceptualized through India’s G20-Presidency. The motivation of this initiative is to bring together the Chief Science Advisers and their equivalents of G20 member countries and the invited countries.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde inaugurated the two-day Regional Conference on “E-Governance” in Mumbai. This conference has been jointly organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra from January 23 to 24, 2023 in Mumbai. The conference is hybrid mode has been attended by 500 delegates from 30 participating States and UTs.
महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री श्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने मुंबई में “ई-गवर्नेंस” पर दो दिवसीय क्षेत्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया है। इस सम्मेलन का आयोजन, प्रशासनिक सुधार एवं लोक शिकायत विभाग (डीएआरपीजी) द्वारा महाराष्ट्र सरकार के सहयोग से संयुक्त रूप से 23 से 24 जनवरी, 2023 तक मुंबई में किया जा रहा है। इस सम्मेलन में 30 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के 500 प्रतिनिधियों ने हाइब्रिड मोड में हिस्सा लिया है।
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival from the 27th - 31st of January, 2023, in Mumbai, through the National Film Development Corporation. The SCO Film Festival is being organized to mark India’s Presidency at SCO. The SCO is a multilateral organization, established on 15 June 2001. The SCO currently comprises eight Member States (China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan).
राष्ट्रीय फिल्म विकास निगम (एनएफडीसी) के माध्यम से सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय 27 से 31 जनवरी, 2023 तक मुंबई में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) फिल्म महोत्सव का आयोजन कर रहा है। एससीओ फिल्म महोत्सव का आयोजन, एससीओ में भारत की अध्यक्षता के उपलक्ष्य में किया जा रहा है। एससीओ एक बहुपक्षीय संगठन है, जिसकी स्थापना 15 जून 2001 को की गई थी। वर्तमान में एससीओ में आठ सदस्य देश (चीन, भारत, कजाकस्तान, किर्गिस्तान, रूस, पाकिस्तान, ताजिकिस्तान और उज्बेकिस्तान) शामिल हैं।
Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Smart Cities CEOs Conference on Data and Technology in Panaji. The two-day conference is being organized by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in coordination with Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd (IPSCDL). Smart Cities Mission was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25th June, 2015. It has been designed as part of a multi-layer strategy to meet the aspirations of 40% of India’s population living in cities.
गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत ने पणजी में डेटा और प्रौद्योगिकी पर स्मार्ट सिटी सीईओ सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया है। इस दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन का आयोजन इमेजिन पणजी स्मार्ट सिटी डेवलपमेंट लिमिटेड (आईपीएसडीएल) के समन्वय से केंद्रीय आवास और शहरी कार्य मंत्रालय कर रहा है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 25 जून, 2015 को स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन प्रारम्भ किया था। इस मिशन को शहरों में रहने वाली भारत की 40 प्रतिशत जनसंख्या की आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने के लिए एक बहु-स्तरीय रणनीति के एक हिस्से के अंतर्गत तैयार किया गया है।

Ministry of Ayush has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India to work together for the promotion of Medical Value Travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine. According to the MoU, Ministry of Ayush will provide training to the officials of ITDC to sensitize them about the Medical value travel in Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine.
आयुष मंत्रालय ने भारत पर्यटन विकास निगम (आईटीडीसी), पर्यटन मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के साथ आयुर्वेद और चिकित्सा की अन्य पारंपरिक प्रणालियों में मेडिकल वैल्यू ट्रैवल को प्रोत्साहन देने के उद्देश्य से एक साथ काम करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इससमझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार, आयुष मंत्रालय आईटीडीसी के अधिकारियों को आयुर्वेद और चिकित्सा की अन्य पारंपरिक प्रणालियों में मेडिकल वैल्यू ट्रैवल के बारे में संवेदनशील बनाने के लिए प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगा।
Uttar Pradesh is celebrating its foundation day on January 24. The main theme of the 'Uttar Pradesh Day' 2023 is 'Investment and Employment'. The initiative to celebrate 'Uttar Pradesh Day' was taken by the then Governor Ram Naik and this event is celebrated every year since 2018. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh was known as United Provinces. However, on January 24, 1950, it was recognized as Uttar Pradesh.
उत्तर प्रदेश 24 जनवरी को अपना स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है। 'उत्तर प्रदेश दिवस' 2023 का मुख्य विषय 'निवेश और रोजगार' है। 'उत्तर प्रदेश दिवस' मनाने की पहल तत्कालीन राज्यपाल राम नाइक ने की थी और यह आयोजन वर्ष 2018 से प्रत्येक वर्ष मनाया जा रहा है। पूर्व में उत्तर प्रदेश को संयुक्त प्रांत के नाम से जाना जाता था। बाद में, 24 जनवरी, 1950 को इसे उत्तर प्रदेश के रूप में मान्यता दी गई थी।
