For the first time ever, the year-long commemoration of birth anniversary of Santh Sevalal Maharaj, the Spiritual & Religious Leader of Banjara Community is being celebrated by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. A Two-day event as a part of 284th Jayanti celebrations being in New Delhi.
भारत सरकार के संस्कृति मंत्रालय द्वारा पहली बार बंजारा समुदाय के आध्यात्मिक और धार्मिक गुरु संत सेवालाल महाराज की 284वीं जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में पूरे वर्ष उत्सव का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इसके अंतर्गत नई दिल्ली में 284वें जयंती समारोह के अवसर पर दो-दिवसीय कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
An Indian Air Force contingent departed for participating in Exercise Cobra Warrior in United Kingdom. The Exercise Cobra Warrior is a multilateral Air exercise in which Air Forces from Finland, Sweden, South Africa, United States of America and Singapore would also be participating.

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Guwahati, IIT Gandhinagar and NIT Calicut for establishment of ‘BIS Standardization Chair Professor’ at these institutes. This is an initiative towards institutionalizing its engagement with the eminent institutes of the country for securing active participation of academia in standards formulation and making teaching of Indian standards an integral part of the curriculum.

Union Minister for Culture, Tourism; Shri G.K Reddy inaugurated the exhibition titled “Re(ad)dress: Return of Treasures”. Information Fusion Centre - Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) signed an MoU with Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC), Seychelles. The MoU aims to promote collaboration between the two Centres towards enhancing maritime domain awareness, information sharing and expertise development.
