1.A MoU was signed between National Highways Logistics Management Limited & JNPT for the development of Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Jalna in Maharashtra. Jalna MMLP will serve as a functional Dry port of the region and Steel & Allied industries depending on scrap, Fruits and Vegetables processing units, Seed industries and cotton sector would hugely benefit from this development. It will connect Samruddhi Marg and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridors. This infrastructure will promote the export of Agro products and also transform Jalna into Automobile Hub of Marathwada region.

Ø राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग रसद प्रबंधन लिमिटेड और जेएनपीटी के बीच, महाराष्ट्र के जालना मेंमल्टी मॉडल लॉजिस्टिक्स पार्क के विकास के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किया गया । जालना एमएमएलपी क्षेत्र के एक कार्यात्मक शुष्क बंदरगाह के रूप में काम करेगा और स्क्रैप, फल और सब्जी प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों, बीज उद्योगों और कपास क्षेत्र के आधार पर इस्पात और संबद्ध उद्योगों का काम करेगा। यह समृद्धि मार्ग और दिल्ली-मुंबई औद्योगिक गलियारों को जोड़ेगा। इसके साथ ही यह आधारभूत ढांचा कृषि उत्पादों के निर्यात को बढ़ावा देगा और जालना को मराठवाड़ा क्षेत्र के ऑटोमोबाइल हब में बदल देगा।

2. India and Egypt have agreed to identify proposals for expanding cooperation between the defence industries of the two countries in a time-bound manner. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held bilateral talks with his Egyptian counterpart General Mohamed Zaki in Cairo yesterday. Both sides discussed steps to strengthen defence ties and reached a consensus to enhance conduct of joint exercises and exchange of personnel for training especially in the field of counter-insurgency. The two Ministers also exchanged views on regional security and acknowledged the contribution of India and Egypt to peace and stability in the world.

Ø भारत और मिस्र दोनों देशों के रक्षा उद्योगों के बीच समयबद्ध तरीके से सहयोग बढ़ाने के प्रस्तावों की पहचान करने पर सहमत हुए हैं। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने काहिरा में मिस्र के अपने समकक्ष जनरल मोहम्मद जकी के साथ द्विपक्षीय वार्ता की। दोनों पक्षों ने रक्षा संबंधों को मजबूत करने के कदमों पर चर्चा की और संयुक्त अभ्यास और विशेष रूप से आतंकवाद विरोधी के क्षेत्र में प्रशिक्षण के लिए कर्मियों के आदान-प्रदान को बढ़ाने के लिए आम सहमति पर पहुंचे। दोनों मंत्रियों ने क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा पर भी विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया और विश्व में शांति और स्थिरता के लिए भारत और मिस्र के योगदान को स्वीकार किया।

3. Maharashtra government has given in-principle nod to a proposal to set up an institution on the lines of NITI Aayog, Maharashtra. The institution would be set up for comprehensive data analysis and to make studied decisions on various sectors.

Ø महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने नीति आयोग की तर्ज पर एक संस्थान स्थापित करने के प्रस्ताव को सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति दे दी है। फडणवीस ने कहा कि संस्थान को व्यापक डेटा विश्लेषण और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों पर अध्ययन किए गए निर्णय लेने के लिए स्थापित किया जाएगा।

4. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully tested a hybrid motor, which will pave way for a new propulsion system for the upcoming launch vehicles. The test was conducted at ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) at Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu supported by Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC).

Ø भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने एक हाइब्रिड मोटर का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है, जो आगामी लॉन्च वाहनों के लिए एक नई प्रणोदन प्रणाली का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगी। यह परीक्षण, तरल प्रणोदन प्रणाली केंद्र (एलपीएससी) द्वारा समर्थित तमिलनाडु के महेंद्रगिरि में इसरो प्रोपल्शन कॉम्प्लेक्स (आईपीआरसी) में आयोजित किया गया था।

5. Moto GP, the premier motorcycle racing event, will be held for the first time in India at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida next year. Dorna Sports, which owns the commercial rights for MotoGP, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Fairstreet Sports to hold the championship in India for seven years.

Ø मोटो जीपी; जो एक प्रमुख मोटरसाइकिल रेसिंग इवेंट है, भारत में पहली बार अगले वर्ष ग्रेटर नोएडा में बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट में आयोजित किया जाएगा। दोर्ना स्पोर्ट्स; जिसके पास मोटोजीपी के वाणिज्यिक अधिकारों का स्वामित्व है, ने सात वर्ष के लिए भारत में चैंपियनशिप आयोजित करने के लिए फेयरस्ट्रीट स्पोर्ट्स के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

6. Nagaland Prison Department goes digital by introducing the mobile attendance application for Prison staff. The mobile app was initiated by the State Prison Department in collaboration with Excellogics Technology Solution Private Limited. The Prison Staff Attendance is a mobile app along with an admin portal that aims to provide a comprehensive attendance management system that can make processes hassle-free and provide a seamlessly integrated system for monitoring and tracking the employee’s attendance.

Ø नागालैंड कारागार विभाग; कारागार कर्मचारियों के लिए मोबाइल उपस्थिति ऐप प्रस्तुत करके अब डिजिटल रूप में स्थापित हो गया है। राज्य कारागार विभाग द्वारा एक्सेललॉजिक्स टेक्नोलॉजी सॉल्यूशन प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के सहयोग से मोबाइल ऐप प्रारम्भ किया गया है। प्रिज़न स्टाफ अटेंडेंस; एक एडमिन पोर्टल-सह-एक मोबाइल ऐप है, जिसका उद्देश्य एक व्यापक उपस्थिति प्रबंधन प्रणाली प्रदान करना है, और साथ ही प्रक्रियाओं को सुविधापूर्ण बनाना है जिससे कर्मचारी की उपस्थिति की निगरानी और ट्रैकिंग के लिए एक निर्बाध एकीकृत प्रणाली स्थापित हो सके।

7. President of Shrikashi Vidvat Parishad and eminent scholar of Sanskrit Padmashree Acharya Ramyatna Shukla died. He was 90 years old. It is said that Padma Shri Acharya Ramyatna Shukla Been sick last week. Due to ill health, he was admitted to a private hospital in the city by relatives. Even at the age of 90, Acharya Ramayatna Shukla was surrounded by Sanskrit scholars and students at his residence near Shankuldhara Pond (Khojwan). Acharya Shukla received the Padma Shri Alankar last year.

Ø श्रीकाशी विद्वत परिषद के अध्यक्ष और संस्कृत के प्रख्यात विद्वान पद्मश्री आचार्य रामयत्न शुक्ल का निधन हो गया है। वह 90 वर्ष के थे। पिछले सप्ताह पद्मश्री आचार्य रामयत्न शुक्ल का स्वास्थ्य ख़राब हो गया था। स्वास्थ्य ख़राब होने पर परिजनों ने उन्हें शहर के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया था। आचार्य रामयत्न शुक्ल 90 वर्ष की आयु में भी शंकुलधारा तालाब (खोजवां) के पास अपने आवास पर संस्कृत के विद्वानों और छात्रों से घिरे हुए थे। आचार्य शुक्ल को पिछले वर्ष पद्मश्री अलंकार मिला था।

8. Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar has inaugurated the third edition of the Lok Manthan programme in Guwahati. The theme of this year’s biennale is Lokparampara (Lok traditions) - and how lok traditions have kept our cultural consciousness intact and strengthened our feeling of National Selfhood. Arif Muhammad Khan, Governor of Kerala, will be the Chief Guest at the concluding session on September 24.

Ø उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ ने गुवाहाटी में लोक मंथन कार्यक्रम के तीसरे संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया। इस वर्ष का विषय "लोकपरंपरा - और कैसे लोक परंपराओं ने हमारी सांस्कृतिक चेतना को बरकरार रखा है और राष्ट्रीय स्वाभिमान की हमारी भावना को मजबूत किया" है। केरल के राज्यपाल आरिफ मुहम्मद खान 24 सितंबर को समापन सत्र में मुख्य अतिथि होंगे।

9. The 10th India-Brazil-South Africa Dialogue Forum (IBSA) Trilateral Ministerial Commission meeting was held in New York. The meeting was chaired by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Carlos Alberto Franco França and Minister of Health of South Africa Dr. Joe Phaahla were also present during the meeting. They held discussions on mutual interests including cooperation in multilateral organizations, South-South cooperation, UNSC reform, 2030 agenda, Sustainable Development Goals, climate change, countering terrorism, and financing for developmental activities. India will host the 6th IBSA Summit in November this year.

Ø 10वीं भारत-ब्राजील-दक्षिण अफ्रीका वार्ता मंच (आईबीएसए) त्रिपक्षीय मंत्रिस्तरीय आयोग की बैठक न्यूयॉर्क में आयोजित की गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर ने की। बैठक के दौरान ब्राजील के विदेश मंत्री कार्लोस अल्बर्टो फ्रेंको फ्रांसा और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. जो फाहला भी उपस्थित थे। उन्होंने बहुपक्षीय संगठनों में सहयोग, दक्षिण-दक्षिण सहयोग, यूएनएससी सुधार, 2030 एजेंडा, सतत विकास लक्ष्य, जलवायु परिवर्तन, आतंकवाद का मुकाबला करने और विकास गतिविधियों के लिए वित्तपोषण सहित आपसी हितों पर चर्चा की। भारत इस वर्ष नवंबर में छठे आईबीएसए शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेगा।

10. Lt General V K Saxena inaugurated a community policing initiative here aimed at spreading awareness about various schemes of the Delhi Police among people. Saxena inaugurated the 'We Care' initiative at an event organised at Kartvaya Path at India Gate on the occasion of 'Sewa Diwas'. The aim of this initiative is to spread awareness among people about different schemes of the Delhi Police to maintain coordination and establish a police-public interface.

Ø लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल वी के सक्सेना ने लोगों के बीच दिल्ली पुलिस की विभिन्न योजनाओं के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के उद्देश्य से सामुदायिक पुलिसिंग पहल का उद्घाटन किया है। वी के सक्सेना ने 'सेवा दिवस' के अवसर पर इंडिया गेट पर कार्तव्य पथ पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में 'वी केयर' पहल का उद्घाटन किया है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य दिल्ली पुलिस की विभिन्न योजनाओं के बारे में लोगों में जागरूकता फैलाना है, जिससे कि समन्वय बनाने में सहायता मिल सके और पुलिस-सार्वजनिक संपर्क स्थापित किया जा सके।
