1.REC has been accorded with the status of a ‘Maharatna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise, thus giving REC greater operational and financial autonomy. Incorporated in 1969, REC is an NBFC focusing on Power Sector Financing and Development across India. The grant of ‘Maharatna’ status to REC will impart enhanced powers to the company’s Board while taking financial decisions.

Ø आरईसी को एक ‘महारत्न’ केन्द्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यम का दर्जा दिया गया है। इस प्रकार, आरईसी को संचालन और वित्तीय मामलों में अपेक्षाकृत अधिक स्वायत्तता प्रदान की गई है। वर्ष 1969 में स्थापित, आरईसी एक गैर – बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनी (एनबीएफसी) है, जो देश भर में बिजली क्षेत्र के वित्तपोषण और विकास पर ध्यान केंद्रित करती है। आरईसी को 'महारत्न' का दर्जा दिए जाने से कंपनी के बोर्ड को वित्तीय निर्णय लेने के दौरान बढ़ी हुई शक्तियां प्राप्त होंगी।

2.Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC), New Delhi under the aegis of DEPwD (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India will be celebrating Sign Language Day-2022 on 23rd September 2022. Ever since the United Nations declared 23rd September as the International Day of Sign Languages, the ISLRTC celebrates it every year on 23rd September.

Ø भारत सरकार के सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग के तत्वावधान में भारतीय सांकेतिक भाषा अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण केंद्र (आईएसएलआरटीसी), नई दिल्ली में 23 सितंबर, 2022 को सांकेतिक भाषा दिवस-2022 मनाया जा रहा है। जब से संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने 23 सितंबर को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सांकेतिक भाषा दिवस घोषित किया है, तब से आईएसएलआरटीसी प्रत्येक वर्ष 23 सितंबर को यह दिवस मनाता है।

3.The hallmark of the first day of the Global Clean Energy Action Forum 2022 was a dinner meeting attended by Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh with US Energy Minister Jennifer Granholm and other important Ministers of the forum. Earlier, the Action Forum-2022 began with an opening ceremony at the Heinz History Centre at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US.

Ø ग्लोबल क्लीन एनर्जी एक्शन फोरम-2022 के पहले दिन के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित एक रात्रिभोज बैठक आयोजित की गई। इसमें केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने अमेरिकी ऊर्जा मंत्री जेनिफर ग्रानहोम और फोरम के अन्य महत्वपूर्ण मंत्रियों के साथ हिस्सा लिया। इससे पहले एक्शन फोरम-2022 की शुरुआत अमेरिका के पेंसिल्वेनिया स्थित पिट्सबर्ग में हाइन्ज हिस्ट्री सेंटर में आयोजित एक उद्घाटन समारोह के साथ की गई थी।

4.National Cadet Corps (NCC) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on September 22, 2022 to tackle the issue of plastic pollution and achieve the universal goal of clean water bodies through ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’ and ‘Tide Turners Plastic Challenge programme’.

Ø राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर (एनसीसी) और संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम (यूएनईपी) ने प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण के मुद्दे से निपटने और 'पुनीत सागर अभियान' और 'टाइड टर्नर्स प्लास्टिक चैलेंज प्रोग्राम' के माध्यम से स्वच्छ जल निकायों का सार्वभौमिक लक्ष्य हासिल करने के लिए 22 सितंबर, 2022 को नई दिल्ली में रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह की उपस्थिति में एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर है।

5.The Ministry of Defence (MOD) signed a contract today with M/s BrahMos Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. (BAPL) for acquisition of additional dual-role capable Surface to Surface BrahMos missiles at an overall approximate cost of  ₹ 1700 Crore under “Buy-Indian” Category.  It is notable that BAPL is a Joint Venture (JV) between India and Russia making crucial contribution to augment the new generation Surface-to-Surface Missiles (SSMs) with enhanced range and dual role capability for land as well as anti-ship attacks.

Ø रक्षा मंत्रालय (एमओडी) ने “भारतीय खरीदें” श्रेणी के अंतर्गत 'सतह से सतह पर मार करने में सक्षम' अतिरिक्त दोहरी भूमिका वाली ब्रह्मोस मिसाइलों के अधिग्रहण के लिए मैसर्स ब्रह्मोस एयरोस्पेस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (बीएपीएल) के साथ एक अनुबंध-पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इसकी कुल अनुमानित लागत 1 हजार 700 करोड़ रुपये है। बीएपीएल भारत तथा रूस की साझेदारी में रक्षा मंत्रालय का एक संयुक्त उद्यम है, जो नई पीढ़ी की 'सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली' मिसाइलों (एसएसएम) के निर्माण और इन्हें अत्याधुनिक बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रहा है।

6.Easing the way for setting up of coal-to-chemical projects through Surface Coal Gasification (SCG) route, Coal India Limited (CIL), under the aegis of Ministry of Coal, will be inking three major Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) on 27th September 2022 in New Delhi. CIL will be joining hands with three other major PSUs of the country Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and GAIL (India) for setting up four SCG projects. 

Ø भूतल कोयला गैसीकरण (एससीजी) मार्ग के माध्यम से कोयला-से-रासायनिक परियोजनाओं की स्थापना को सरल बनाते हुए, कोयला मंत्रालय के तत्वावधान में कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड (सीआईएल) 27 सितंबर 2022 को नई दिल्ली में तीन प्रमुख समझौता ज्ञापनों (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर करेगा। चार एससीजी परियोजनाओं की स्थापना के लिए सीआईएल देश के तीन अन्य प्रमुख पीएसयू - भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (भेल), इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (आईओसीएल) और गेल (इंडिया) के साथ मिलकर काम करेगा।

7.Scientists in China have successfully created the world's first cloned arctic wolf. The arctic wolf pup named Maya is 100 days old. Using the latest in biotechnology, Beijing-based firm Sinogene Biotechnology Co was able to achieve the final result and will help in conservation of endangered species.

Ø चीन में वैज्ञानिकों ने सफलतापूर्वक विश्व का पहला क्लोन आर्कटिक वुल्फ बनाया है। माया नाम का आर्कटिक वुल्फ 100 दिन पुराना है।जैव प्रौद्योगिकी में नवीनतम पद्धतियों का उपयोग करते हुए, बीजिंग स्थित फर्म सिनोजेन बायोटेक्नोलॉजी कंपनी अंतिम परिणाम प्राप्त करने में सक्षम रही, और इससे लुप्तप्राय प्रजातियों के संरक्षण में सहायता मिलेगी।

8.The Supreme Court appointed former apex court judge Justice L Nageswara Rao for amending constitution of Indian Olympic Association and preparing electoral college. A bench headed by Justice D Y Chandrachud said the ex-top court judge would ensure a fair and development-oriented approach for the future of the Olympics in the country. The apex court asked Justice Rao to prepare a road map for amending the constitution and holding elections by December 15, 2022.

Ø माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ के संविधान में संशोधन और निर्वाचक मंडल तैयार करने के लिए शीर्ष अदालत के पूर्व न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति एल नागेश्वर राव को नियुक्त किया है। न्यायमूर्ति डी वाई चंद्रचूड़ की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने कहा कि शीर्ष अदालत के पूर्व न्यायाधीश देश में ओलंपिक के भविष्य के लिए एक निष्पक्ष और विकासोन्मुखी दृष्टिकोण सुनिश्चित करेंगे। शीर्ष अदालत ने न्यायमूर्ति राव को संविधान में संशोधन और 15 दिसंबर, 2022 तक चुनाव कराने के लिए एक रोड मैप तैयार करने को कहा।

9.Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday sent a letter to the female legislators of the state Legislature ahead of the women-only occasion on the session of September 22. The session will be held in both the legislative assembly and the legislative council explaining the 'Mission Shakti' scheme of the government and its impact on women of the state. The Chief Minister recently announced the decision to dedicate September 22 to women members of the legislative assembly and legislative council. On this day, women legislators will present their views on various topics.

Ø उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने 22 सितंबर के सत्र में केवल-महिला सत्र से पहले राज्य विधानमंडल की महिला विधायकों को एक पत्र भेजा है। सत्र विधान सभा और विधान परिषद दोनों में आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसमें सरकार की 'मिशन शक्ति' योजना और राज्य की महिलाओं पर इसका प्रभाव के बारे में समझाया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने हाल ही में 22 सितंबर सत्र को विधानसभा और विधान परिषद की महिला सदस्यों को समर्पित करने के निर्णय की घोषणा की थी। इस दिन महिला विधायक विभिन्न विषयों पर अपने विचार रखेंगी।

10.A private hospital in Kerala has achieved a rare feat by conducting India's first shoulder-level full-arm transplant this week. Two patients, one from Karnataka and another from Iraq, who lost both their hands due to electric shock, have successfully undergone bilateral hand transplants at Amrita Hospital, Kochi.

Ø केरल के एक निजी अस्पताल ने इस सप्ताह भारत का पहला कंधे-स्तर पूर्ण-हाथ प्रत्यारोपण करके एक दुर्लभ उपलब्धि हासिल की है। दो मरीज, एक कर्नाटक से और दूसरा इराक से, जिनके दोनों हाथ बिजली के झटके के कारण खो गए थे, का अमृता अस्पताल, कोच्चि में द्विपक्षीय हाथ प्रत्यारोपण सफलतापूर्वक पूरा हुआ है।
