Tata Trusts, arm of the Tata group and largest shareholder in the group holding company, named Siddharth Sharma, 58, as its chief executive officer and Aparna Uppaluri, 48, as chief operating officer. Sharma, a career bureaucrat of more than two-and-a-half decades, retired from government service in 2018 to join the Pranab Mukherjee Foundation. He joined Tata Sons in February 2019 as chief sustainability officer under N. Chandrasekaran’s chairmanship.

Veteran film actress and former Lok Sabha MP from Rajahmundry; Jamuna passed away in Hyderabad. She was 86. She was a contemporary to eminent and popular actors N T Ramarao and Nageswar Rao and acted in about 200 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. She was born in 1936 in Hampi in Karnataka. Started her career as a stage artist, debuting with Puttillu on Silver Screen.

The inaugural edition of the bilateral air exercise 'Veer Guardian 2023' between the Indian Air Force and Japan Air Self Defence Force concluded in Japan on 26 January. During the joint training spanning 16 days, the two Air Forces engaged in complex and comprehensive aerial manoeuvres in multiple simulated operational scenarios. Indian Air Force and Japan Air Self Defence Force engaged in air combat manoeuvring, interception and air defence missions, both in Visual and Beyond Visual Range settings.
भारतीय वायु सेना और जापान एयर सेल्फ डिफेंस फोर्स के बीच द्विपक्षीय वायु अभ्यास 'वीर गार्जियन 2023' का उद्घाटन संस्करण 26 जनवरी को जापान में संपन्न हुआ है। 16 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण के दौरान, दोनों वायु सेनाओं ने विभिन्न सिम्युलेटेड परिचालन परिदृश्यों में जटिल और व्यापक हवाई युद्धाभ्यास किया है। भारतीय वायु सेना और जापान एयर सेल्फ डिफेंस फोर्स विजुअल और बियॉन्ड विजुअल रेंज सेटिंग्स; दोनों ही माध्यम में हवाई युद्धाभ्यास, अवरोधन और वायु रक्षा मिशन में अभ्यास कर रहे है।
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) film festival will begin on 27th January in Mumbai with the world premiere of the Tamil film "Appatha". The film is directed by Padma awardee and National Award-winning filmmaker Priyadarshan. The SCO Film Festival is being organized to mark India’s Presidency at SCO. A total of 57 Films from SCO countries will be showcased during the 5-day event. While 14 feature films will be screened in the Competition Section, the Non-Competition section will showcase 43 films.
शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) फिल्म महोत्सव 27 जनवरी को मुंबई में तमिल फिल्म "अपथा" के विश्व प्रीमियर के साथ प्रारम्भ होगा। इस फिल्म का निर्देशन पद्म पुरस्कार विजेता और राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता फिल्म निर्माता प्रियदर्शन ने किया है। एससीओ फिल्म महोत्सव का आयोजन एससीओ में भारत की प्राप्त हुई अध्यक्षता के उपलक्ष्य में किया जा रहा है। एससीओ देशों की कुल 57 फिल्मों को 5 दिवसीय आयोजन के दौरान प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा। प्रतियोगिता खंड में 14 फीचर फिल्में प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी, और गैर-प्रतियोगिता वर्ग में 43 फिल्में प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी।
Aadhaar e-KYC transactions have jumped 18.53 percent to 84.8 crores between October to December 2022. In the last month alone 32.49 crore e-KYC transactions were carried out using Aadhaar which was over 13 percent more in comparison to November 2022. By the end of December 2022, the cumulative number of Aadhaar e-KYC transactions has gone up to more than one thousand 382 crores. 169 entities including 105 banks are live on e-KYC.
आधार ई-केवाईसी लेन-देन; अक्टूबर से दिसंबर 2022 के मध्य-अवधि में 18.53 प्रतिशत बढ़ते हुए 84.8 करोड़ हो गया है। पिछले माह ही आधार का उपयोग करके 32.49 करोड़ ई-केवाईसी लेनदेन किए गए थे; जो नवंबर 2022 की तुलना में 13 प्रतिशत अधिक थे। दिसंबर 2022 के अंत तक, आधार ई-केवाईसी लेनदेन की संचयी संख्या एक हजार 382 करोड़ से अधिक हो गई है। 105 बैंकों सहित 169 संस्थाएं ई-केवाईसी पर लाइव हैं।
Naresh Lalwani has taken over as the new General Manager of Central Railway. He is a senior officer of the Indian Railway Engineering Service of 1985 batch. Before taking over as General Manager, Central Railway, he was working as Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer of Western Railway. He succeeds Ashok Kumar Misra, General Manager Western Railway who was holding the additional charge of Central Railway as well.

The 30th National Child Science Congress began at Science City in Ahmedabad. Secretary of Gujarat Science and Technology department Vijay Nahera inaugurated the Congress in the virtual presence of Education minister Kuber Dindor. Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Gujarat Council of Science City, and SAL Education are hosting the five-day congress which will conclude on 31st January. As many as 850 students from across the country will showcase their unique projects in Congress.
30वीं राष्ट्रीय बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस; अहमदाबाद के साइंस सिटी में प्रारम्भ हुआ है। गुजरात विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के सचिव विजय नाहेरा ने शिक्षा मंत्री कुबेर डिंडोर की उपस्थिति में इस कांग्रेस का उद्घाटन किया है। गुजरात काउंसिल ऑन साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (GUJCOST), गुजरात काउंसिल ऑफ साइंस सिटी, और SAL एजुकेशन एक-साथ इस पांच दिवसीय कांग्रेस की मेजबानी कर रहे हैं, जो 31 जनवरी को समाप्त होगी। देश भर के 850 से अधिक छात्र इस कांग्रेस में अपनी अनूठी परियोजनाओं का प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
The Central Government announced the Padma Awards on the eve of Republic Day. Of the 106 Padma awards announced, six are Padma Vibhushan, nine are Padma Bhushan and 91 are Padma Shri. Nineteen of the awardees are women. Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) pioneer Dilip Mahalanobis, Former Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Tabla Maestro Zakir Hussain will be awarded Padma Vibhushan.
केंद्र सरकार ने गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर पद्म पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की है। घोषित किए गए 106 पद्म पुरस्कारों में से छह पद्म विभूषण, नौ पद्म भूषण और 91 पद्म श्री हैं। पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने वालों में उन्नीस महिलाएं हैं। ओरल रिहाइड्रेशन सॉल्यूशन (ओआरएस) के अग्रदूत दिलीप महालनोबिस, समाजवादी पार्टी के पूर्व प्रमुख मुलायम सिंह यादव और तबलावादक जाकिर हुसैन को पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
The President has approved 412 Gallantry awards and other defence decorations to Armed Forces personnel and others on the eve of 74th Republic Day. These include six Kirti Chakras, including four posthumous; 15 Shaurya Chakras, including two posthumous; one Bar to Sena Medal (Gallantry); 92 Sena Medals, including four posthumous; one Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry) {posthumous}; seven Vayu Sena Medals (Gallantry); 29 Param Vishisht Seva Medals and many other awards.
राष्ट्रपति ने 74वें गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर सशस्त्र बल कर्मियों के लिए 412 वीरता पुरस्कारों तथा अन्य रक्षा अलंकरणों का अनुमोदन किया है। इनमें छह कीर्ति चक्र जिनमें चार मरणोपरांत, 15 शौर्य चक्र जिनमें दो मरणोपरांत, एक ‘बार टू’ सेना पदक (वीरता), 92 सेना पदक जिनमें चार मरणोपरांत, एक नौसेना पदक (वीरता) (मरणोपरांत), सात वायु सेना पदक (वीरता), 29 परम विशिष्ट सेवा पदक के साथ-साथ और अन्य पदक भी शामिल हैं।
The Indian Railways has introduced 'Ideal Train Profile' to maximise the capacity utilisation and revenue generation in reserved mail express trains by regularly analysing the demand pattern of every single train. Ideal Train Profile is done due to the fact that the number of ticket-class combinations on a single train journey date can exceed 5,000.
भारतीय रेलवे ने हर एक ट्रेन की मांग पैटर्न का नियमित रूप से विश्लेषण करके आरक्षित मेल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में क्षमता उपयोग और राजस्व सृजन को अधिकतम करने के लिए 'आइडियल ट्रेन प्रोफाइल' पेश किया है। आदर्श ट्रेन प्रोफाइल इस तथ्य के कारण किया जाता है कि एक ट्रेन यात्रा तिथि पर टिकट-श्रेणी संयोजनों की संख्या 5,000 से अधिक हो सकती है।
