1.      World football governing body FIFA lifted the ban imposed on the AIFF after the Supreme Court terminated the mandate of the Committee of Administrators (CoA). FIFA had suspended the AIFF on August 15 for "undue influence from third parties".

Ø  सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा प्रशासकों की समिति (सीओए) के अधिदेश को समाप्त करने के बाद विश्व फुटबॉल शासी निकाय फीफा ने एआईएफएफ पर लगाए गए प्रतिबंध को हटा लिया है। फीफा ने 15 अगस्त को "तीसरे पक्ष के अनुचित प्रभाव" के लिए एआईएफएफ को निलंबित कर दिया था।

2.      Justice Uday Umesh Lalit was on Saturday sworn in as the 49th Chief Justice of India. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Justice Lalit at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. He will have a 74-day tenure since he retires on November 8.

Ø  न्यायमूर्ति उदय उमेश ललित ने भारत के 49वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली है। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने राष्ट्रपति भवन में न्यायमूर्ति ललित को पद की शपथ दिलाई। उनका कार्यकाल 74 दिनों का होगा, क्योंकि 8 नवंबर को वह सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं।

3.      DreamSetGo, a sports experiences and travel platform, has announced Sourav Ganguly as its first brand ambassador. The company was launched in 2019 for people to get access to worldwide sporting events and is owned by Dream Sports, a sports technology company.

4.      Nagaland got its second Railway station on  Dhansari-Shokhuvi railway line after a gap of more than 100 years.  Dimapur station was opened in 1903.  Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio officially flagged off the first passenger train service- the Donyi Polo Express from Shokhuvi Railway station in Choumukedima District  on August 26.

5.      Bangladesh and India signed two contracts for the construction of a new broad-gauge line between Khulna- Darsana and conversion of metre gauge line into dual-gauge line between Parbatipur and Kaunia. The contract signing ceremony was held at the Railway Ministry in Dhaka between representatives of the consultancy firm from India and the Bangladesh counterpart for the project.

Ø  बांग्लादेश और भारत ने खुलना-दरसन के बीच एक नई ब्रॉड-गेज लाइन के निर्माण और पार्बतीपुर और कौनिया के बीच मीटर गेज लाइन को दोहरा-गेज लाइन में बदलने के लिए दो अनुबंधों पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर के लिए समारोह, ढाका में स्थित रेल मंत्रालय में भारत के सलाहकार फर्म के प्रतिनिधियों और परियोजना के लिए बांग्लादेश समकक्ष के बीच आयोजित किया गया था।

6.      The 31st Vyas Samman was conferred on to well-known Hindi writer Dr. Asghar Wajahat at a function in New Delhi today. Dr. Wajahat has been chosen for the prestigious award for his play Mahabali. In his play Mahabali, Dr. Wajahat focuses on Mughal emperor Akbar and poet Tulsidas. Through the play, he attempts to answer who is the real Mahabali, the poet or the emperor.

Ø  31वां व्यास सम्मान, हिंदी के जाने-माने लेखक डॉ. असगर वजाहत को प्रदान किया गया है। डॉ. वजाहत को उनके नाटक 'महाबली' के लिए इस प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। अपने नाटक महाबली में, डॉ. वजाहत मुगल सम्राट अकबर और कवि तुलसीदास पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया है। नाटक के माध्यम से, यह उत्तर देने का प्रयास किया गया है कि असली महाबली कौन है, कवि या सम्राट।

7.      The Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, under its Aashwasan Campaign screened over one crore persons in over 68,000 villages. The Aashwasan Campaign started in January this year in Nandurbar District of Maharashtra for finding active case for Tuberculosis in 174 tribal districts of India.

Ø  जनजातीय मामलों के मंत्रालय और स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ने अपने आश्वासन अभियान के अंतर्गत 68,000 से अधिक गांवों में एक करोड़ से अधिक लोगों में टीबी की जांच की। भारत के 174 आदिवासी जिलों में तपेदिक के सक्रिय मामले का पता लगाने के लिए महाराष्ट्र के नंदुरबार जिले में इस वर्ष जनवरी में आश्वासन अभियान प्रारम्भ हुआ था।

8.      The third India-Mauritius Joint Committee Meeting on Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperation was held in New Delhi today. The Indian side was led by Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Narayan Rane. In the meeting, both sides reviewed the present engagement between India and Mauritius in the field of MSMEs. They held discussion on potential areas of cooperation in various areas including exchange of best practices and experiences in development of MSME sector and holding of physical and virtual exhibitions.

Ø  लघु और मध्यम उद्यम सहयोग पर भारत-मॉरीशस संयुक्त समिति की तीसरी बैठक में आयोजित की गई। भारतीय पक्ष का नेतृत्व सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्री नारायण राणे ने किया। बैठक में दोनों पक्षों ने एमएसएमई के क्षेत्र में भारत और मॉरीशस के बीच वर्तमान सहयोग की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने एमएसएमई क्षेत्र के विकास में सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं और अनुभवों के आदान-प्रदान और भौतिक और आभासी प्रदर्शनियों के आयोजन सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सहयोग के संभावित क्षेत्रों पर चर्चा की।

9.      President Droupadi Murmu will confer National Awards to Teachers 2022 to 46 selected awardees on 5th September in New Delhi. The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has been organising a National level function on Teachers Day every year to confer the National Awards to best teachers of the country. The selection is done through a rigorous transparent and online three-stage selection process.

Ø  राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू 5 सितंबर को नई दिल्ली में चयनित 46 शिक्षकों को 2022 तक राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्रदान करेंगी। स्कूल शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग, शिक्षा मंत्रालय; देश के सर्वश्रेष्ठ शिक्षकों को राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्रदान करने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष शिक्षक दिवस पर एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर के समारोह का आयोजन करता रहता है। यह चयन एक कठोर पारदर्शी और ऑनलाइन तीन चरणों वाली चयन प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया जाता है।

10.  University Grant Commission, UGC has declared twenty-one universities as fake. In a letter, UGC said that 21 institutions are functioning in self-styled manner across the country, which are not recognized by the commission. Awaring the students UGC said that these institutions are not empowered to confer a degree.

Ø  विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग, यूजीसी ने 21 विश्वविद्यालयों को फर्जी घोषित किया है। यूजीसी ने एक पत्र में कहा है कि देश भर में 21 संस्थान स्वयं द्वारा निर्धारित तरीके से काम कर रहे हैं, जिन्हें आयोग की मान्यता नहीं दी गयी है। यूजीसी ने छात्रों को आगाह करते हुए कहा कि इन संस्थानों को डिग्री देने का अधिकार नहीं है।
