1.A huge statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be installed and a research centre will be built as part his grand memorial in Gwalior. Vajpayee was born in Gwalior on December 25, 1924. The Madhya Pradesh government has allotted nearly 4,050 hectares of land in Sirol area of Gwalior to build a memorial of Vajpayee.

Ø ग्वालियर में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की एक विशाल प्रतिमा स्थापित की जाएगी और उनके भव्य स्मारक के रूप में एक अनुसंधान केंद्र भी बनाया जाएगा। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी का जन्म 25 दिसंबर 1924 को ग्वालियर में हुआ था। मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने वाजपेयी का स्मारक बनाने के लिए ग्वालियर के सिरोल क्षेत्र में लगभग 4,050 हेक्टेयर भूमि आवंटित की है।

2.  Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal introduced a host of new initiatives, including a right to repair portal and an NTH mobile app and opened new premises of the National Consumer Helpline centre in the national capital. On the 'right to repair' portal, manufacturers would share the manual of product details with customers so that they could either repair by self, by third parties, rather than depend on original manufacturers. Initially, mobile phones, electronics, consumer durables, automobile and farming equipment would be covered.

Ø खाद्य और उपभोक्ता मामलों के मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने ‘मरम्मत का अधिकार’ के लिए पोर्टल और एनटीएच मोबाइल ऐप सहित कई नई पहलों की शुरुआत की  है और राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता हेल्पलाइन केंद्र का नया परिसर खोला है। 'मरम्मत का अधिकार' पोर्टल पर, निर्माता; उत्पाद विवरण के मैनुअल को ग्राहकों के साथ साझा करेंगे, जिससे कि वे मूल निर्माताओं पर निर्भर रहने की जगह तीसरे पक्ष द्वारा या स्वयं मरम्मत कर सकें। प्रारंभिक चरण में मोबाइल फोन, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स, ऑटोमोबाइल और खेती के उपकरण को इसके अंतर्गत रखा जाएगा।

3.The Defence Ministry has cleared the procurement of around 120 Pralay ballistic missiles for the Indian armed. 'Pralay' is a quasi-ballistic surface-to-surface missile. The advanced missile has been developed in a way to be able to defeat interceptor missiles. It has the ability to change its path after covering a certain range in mid-air. The missile system started getting development around 2015. The missile was successfully tested twice on consecutive days last year on December 21 and December 22.

Ø रक्षा मंत्रालय ने भारतीय सशस्त्र के लिए लगभग 120 प्रलय बैलिस्टिक मिसाइलों की खरीद को स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है। 'प्रलय', एक अर्ध-बैलिस्टिक और सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली मिसाइल है। इंटरसेप्टर मिसाइलों को परास्त करने में सक्षम करने के लिए इसे उन्नत मिसाइल के रूप में विकसित किया गया है। यह मध्य-मार्ग में एक निश्चित सीमा तय करने के बाद अपना रास्ता बदलने की क्षमता रखती है। इस मिसाइल प्रणाली को 2015 के आसपास विकसित करना प्रारम्भ किया गया था। पिछले वर्ष 21 दिसंबर और 22 दिसंबर को लगातार दो बार मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण किया गया था।

4.Digital payments services platform Worldline e-Payments India has received in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India to act as a payment aggregator (PA). The authorisation by the RBI was under the provisions of the Guidelines on Regulation of Payment dated March 17, 2020. RBI has been proactive in introducing regulations and frameworks to help the entire digital ecosystem and to increase the adoption of digital payments further.

Ø डिजिटल भुगतान सेवा प्रदाता वर्ल्डलाइन ई-पेमेंट्स इंडिया को भुगतान एग्रीगेटर (पीए) के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक से सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति मिल गई है। आरबीआई द्वारा 17 मार्च, 2020 को भुगतान के विनियमन पर दिशानिर्देशों के प्रावधानों के अंतर्गत यह अधिकार प्रदान किए गए हैं। आरबीआई पूरे डिजिटल पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की सहायता करने और डिजिटल भुगतान को अपनाने में और वृद्धि करने के लिए नियमों और रूपरेखाओं को प्रारम्भ करने में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहा है।

5.The Bulandshahr prison of Uttar Pradesh was awarded a five-star rating and the tag 'Eat Right Campus'by the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI), informed a press release. The FSSAI team inspected the kitchen's food quality, storage and hygiene on stringent measures, based on which the Bulandshahr prison was given a five-star rating, the 'Eat Right Campus' tag in addition to the remark of 'Excellent' by the FSSAI.

6.Lovlina Borgohain and Nikhat Zareen have won Gold medals at Women’s National Boxing Championship 2022 in Bhopal. While Lovlina Borgohain beat Arundhati Choudhary 5-0 in the 75kg final, Nikhat Zareen defeated Anamika 4-1 in the final of the 50kg category. Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur gave away awards to the winners. The Railways team topped the medals tally with 10 medals – five golds, three silvers and two bronze. Madhya Pradesh, with one gold, two silver and five bronze stood second, while Haryana with two gold and two bronze claimed third position.

7.By March 2023, State Bank of India (SBI), ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank will start issuing RuPay credit cards over the UPI. Currently, the RuPay credit card segment on the UPI platform is live with three public sector banks—Union Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and Indian Bank—and one private sector bank—HDFC Bank. The move will boost daily transaction values on this feature, which stand at Rs 50 lakh a day now.

8.South Korea reported its first case of infection from Naegleria fowleri or brain-eating amoeba. Naegleria is an amoeba, a single-celled organism, and only one of its species, called Naegleria fowleri, can infect humans. It was first discovered in Australia in 1965 and is commonly found in warm freshwater bodies, such as hot springs, rivers and lakes. The amoeba enters the human body through the nose and then travels up to the brain. Once Naegleria fowleri goes to the brain, it destroys brain tissues and causes a dangerous infection known as primary amebic meningoencephalitis (PAM).

Ø दक्षिण कोरिया ने नेग्लरिया फाउलेरी या दिमाग खाने वाले अमीबा से संक्रमण का पहला मामला दर्ज किया है। नेग्लरिया एक अमीबा; एक एकल-कोशिका वाला जीव है, और इसकी केवल एक प्रजाति, जिसे नेग्लरिया फाउलेरी कहा जाता है, मनुष्यों को संक्रमित कर सकती है। यह पहली बार 1965 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में खोजा गया था और सामान्यतः गर्म मीठे पानी के निकायों, जैसे गर्म झरनों, नदियों और झीलों में पाया जाता है। अमीबा नाक के रास्ते मानव शरीर में प्रवेश करता है और फिर मस्तिष्क तक चला जाता है। एक बार नेग्लरिया फाउलेरी  मस्तिष्क में चला जाता है, यह मस्तिष्क के ऊतकों को नष्ट कर देता है और एक खतरनाक संक्रमण का कारण बनता है, जिसे प्राथमिक अमीबिक मेनिंगोएन्सेफलाइटिस (PAM) के रूप में जाना जाता है।

9.Senior bureaucrats Santosh Kumar Yadav was appointed as chairman of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI),. Santosh Kumar Yadav, a 1995-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, is currently additional secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

10. Ganji Kamala V Rao has been named Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Rao, a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre, is currenty the managing director of the India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standard Authority of India. It is a statutory body under the Ministry of health and family welfare, the Government of India. The FSSAI was established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, of 2006.
