1.Sanjay Kumar has taken charge as the Chairman & Managing Director of RailTel. Before taking over this post, he was shouldering the responsibilities of Director (Network Planning & Marketing/NPM) with additional charge of Director (Project, Operations & Maintenance/ POM) in RailTel.

Ø संजय कुमार ने रेलटेल के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला है। इस पद को संभालने से पहले, वह रेलटेल में निदेशक (परियोजना, संचालन और रखरखाव / पीओएम) के अतिरिक्त प्रभार के साथ निदेशक (नेटवर्क योजना और विपणन / एनपीएम) का पद संभाल रहे थे।

2. The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) in association with Indian mission in the Guatemala (Latin America) is organizing a Made in India - Trade Show Exhibition on Indian arts & crafts and other products of Indian Handicrafts Manufacturers & Exporters from 22 - 24 September, 2022 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Ø हस्तशिल्प निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद (ईपीसीएच), ग्वाटेमाला (लातीनी अमेरिका) स्थित भारतीय राजनयिक मिशन के साथ मेड इन इंडिया – व्यापार प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन कर रहा है। यह प्रदर्शनी ग्वाटेमाला सिटी में 22 सितंबर से 24 सितंबर, 2022 तक आयोजित की गई थी, और इसमें भारतीय हस्तशिल्प निर्माताओं तथा निर्यातकों ने भारतीय कलाकृतियां व हस्तशिल्प के साथ अन्य उत्पादों को प्रदर्शित किया है।

3. The Ninth Session of the Governing Body (GB9) of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) concluded in New Delhi today. The six-day GB9 session of ITPGRFA was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar in New Delhi on September 19, 2022. More than 400 eminent scientists and resource persons from 150 member-countries participated in the deliberation during the 9th session of GB.

Ø खाद्य और कृषि के लिए पादप आनुवंशिक संसाधनों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संधि (आईटीपीजीएफआरए) के शासी निकाय का नौवां सत्र (जीबी9) नई दिल्ली में संपन्न हुआ। आईटीपीजीएफआरए के छह दिवसीय जीबी9 सत्र का उद्घाटन 19 सितंबर, 2022 को केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने नई दिल्ली में किया। 150 सदस्य देशों के 400 से ज्यादा प्रख्यात वैज्ञानिकों और संसाधन संबंधी व्यक्तियों ने शासी निकाय के 9वें सत्र के दौरान भाग लिया।

4. Amazon announced the setting up of its first solar farm in India. The e-commerce major will be setting up three solar power projects with a capacity of 420 megawatt (MW) in Rajasthan. All three are solar projects in Rajasthan, representing 420 MW of clean energy capacity.

Ø अमेजन ने भारत में अपना पहला सोलर फार्म स्थापित करने की घोषणा की है। ई-कॉमर्स प्रमुख राजस्थान में 420 मेगावाट (मेगावाट) की क्षमता वाली तीन सौर ऊर्जा परियोजनाएं स्थापित करेगी। यह तीनों राजस्थान में स्थित सौर परियोजनाएं हैं, जो 420 मेगावाट स्वच्छ ऊर्जा क्षमता का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं।

5. Former India captain Dilip Tirkey has been elected unopposed as the new president of Hockey India (HI). The elections were supposed to be held next month, but Tirkey was named the president after Hockey Jharkhand president Bhola Nath Singh withdrew his candidature for the post.

Ø भारत के पूर्व कप्तान दिलीप तिर्की को हॉकी इंडिया (HI) के नए अध्यक्ष के रूप में निर्विरोध रूप से चुना गया है। इसके लिए चुनाव अगले माह होने थे, लेकिन हॉकी झारखंड के अध्यक्ष भोला नाथ सिंह द्वारा पद के लिए अपनी उम्मीदवारी वापस लेने के बाद तिर्की को अध्यक्ष बनाया गया है।

6. President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated a ten-day Mysuru Dasara festival by offering prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari atop Chamundi hills. Starting her speech in Kannada, the President extended her greetings to the people on the festive occasion. She sought the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari for the well-being of the country and her people. after a gap of two years, the Dasara festival is celebrated on a grand scale this year, post the pandemic.

Ø राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने चामुंडी पहाड़ियों के ऊपर स्थित देवी चामुंडेश्वरी की पूजा करके दस दिवसीय मैसूर दशहरा उत्सव का उद्घाटन किया। कन्नड़ में अपने भाषण की शुरुआत करते हुए, राष्ट्रपति ने उत्सव के अवसर पर लोगों को शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने देश और अपने लोगों की भलाई के लिए देवी चामुंडेश्वरी का आशीर्वाद मांगा। दो वर्ष के अंतराल के बाद, इस वर्ष कोविड महामारी के बाद दशहरा उत्सव इतने बड़े पैमाने पर मनाया जा रहा है।

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a visit to Japan this evening to attend the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo. the ceremony will be held at Budokan arena which will be followed by a greeting occasion at Akasaka Palace in Tokyo.

Ø प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जापान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री शिंजो आबे के टोक्यो में अंतिम संस्कार में शामिल होने के लिए जापान के दौरे पर जाएंगे। यह समारोह बुडोकन एरिना में आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसके बाद टोक्यो के अकासाका पैलेस में एक अभिवादन कार्यक्रम आयोजित होगा।

8. The highest-located district in India, Leh has achieved 100 percent digitization of banking operations. Celebrating the achievement in a meet organized by UT Level Bankers Committee Ladakh, the Reserve Bank of India has felicitated the bankers of the district. Leh district has completed the digitization of all the operating banks in a short span of a year.

Ø भारत में सबसे अधिक ऊँचाई पर स्थित जिला, लेह ने ‘बैंकिंग कार्यों का 100 प्रतिशत डिजिटलीकरण’ प्रस्थिति हासिल कर लिया है। यूटी स्तरीय बैंकर्स कमेटी लद्दाख द्वारा आयोजित बैठक में उपलब्धि की सराहना करते हुए, भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने जिले के बैंकरों को सम्मानित किया है। लेह जिले ने एक वर्ष की कम अवधि में सभी ऑपरेटिंग बैंकों का डिजिटलीकरण पूरा कर लिया है।

9. Dr M Srinivas was appointed on Friday as the next director of All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for a period. Dr Srinivas will replace Dr Randeep Guleria who tenure as the head of the country's premier health institute will end today. Dr Guleria had twice received an extension for three months for the post of AIIMS director. He joined in the role on March 28, 2017.

Ø डॉ एम श्रीनिवास को अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स), नई दिल्ली के अगले निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। डॉ. श्रीनिवास डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया का स्थान लेंगे, जिनका देश के प्रमुख स्वास्थ्य संस्थान के प्रमुख के रूप में कार्यकाल समाप्त हो गया है। डॉ गुलेरिया को एम्स निदेशक के पद के लिए दो बार तीन माह के लिए विस्तार मिला था। वह 28 मार्च, 2017 को पदभार ग्रहण किये थे।

10. Keeping in mind the concern for women’s safety and their empowerment in society, the Chhattisgarh government has announced the ‘Hamar Beti-Hamar Maan’ campaign in this state. According to government, The society in which daughters are safe and empowered, that society moves on the path of continuous progress.

Ø महिलाओं की सुरक्षा और समाज में उनके सशक्तिकरण की चिंता को ध्यान में रखते हुए छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने राज्य में 'हमार बेटी-हमार मान' अभियान की घोषणा की है। राज्य सरकार के अनुसार, जिस समाज में बेटियां सुरक्षित और सशक्त होती हैं, वह समाज निरंतर प्रगति के पथ पर अग्रसर होता है।
