1.Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, has inaugurated “SARAS FOOD FESTIVAL, 2022”. The Saras Food Festival-2022 has been organized in the national capital by the Union Ministry of Rural Development from 28th October, 2022 to 10th November, 2022.

Ø केंद्रीय ग्रामीण विकास और इस्पात राज्य मंत्री श्री फग्गन सिंह कुलस्ते ने “सरस फूड फेस्टिवल, 2022” का उद्घाटन किया। सरस फूड फेस्टिवल-2022 का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में केंद्रीय ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा 28 अक्टूबर, 2022 से 10 नवंबर, 2022 तक किया जा रहा है।

2. The Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital has emerged as the world’s 10th busiest airport in October, improving its ranking compared to the pre-pandemic period. In its report, aviation analytics firm OAG said Delhi airport has improved its position from 14th place in October 2019, which was the pre-pandemic time. In October 2022, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was the busiest in the world.

Ø राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में इंदिरा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा अक्टूबर माह में विश्व के 10 वें सबसे व्यस्त हवाई अड्डे के रूप में स्थान प्राप्त किया है, जिसने पूर्व-महामारी की अवधि की तुलना में अपनी रैंकिंग में सुधार किया है। अपनी रिपोर्ट में, एविएशन एनालिटिक्स फर्म OAG ने कहा कि दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे ने अक्टूबर 2019 में 14 वें स्थान से अपनी स्थिति में सुधार किया है, जो कि महामारी से पहले की प्रस्थिति थी। अक्टूबर 2022 में, हर्ट्सफील्ड-जैक्सन अटलांटा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा विश्व का सबसे व्यस्ततम हवाई अड्डा था।

3. Union home minister Amit Shah informed that the government will set-up branches of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in all the states by 2024 to deal with terrorism cases. Currently, NIA has 15 branches in Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Raipur, Jammu, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Chennai, Imphal, Bengaluru and Patna.

Ø केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह गुरुवार को आतंकवाद के मामलों से निपटने के लिए सरकार 2024 तक सभी राज्यों में राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए) की शाखाएं स्थापित करेगी, यहां तक कि उन्होंने उन्हें (राज्यों) को केंद्र के साथ हाथ मिलाने के लिए कहा। सीमाहीन अपराधों, सीमा पार आतंकवाद और संगठित अपराधों से निपटना। वर्तमान में, NIA की दिल्ली, हैदराबाद, गुवाहाटी, कोच्चि, लखनऊ, मुंबई, कोलकाता, रायपुर, जम्मू, चंडीगढ़, रांची, चेन्नई, इंफाल, बेंगलुरु और पटना में 15 शाखाएँ हैं।

4. BSE, or the Bombay Stock Exchange, launched Electronic Gold Receipt (EGR) on its platform on Monday, 24 October 2022. It introduced two new products of 995 and 999 purity during the Muhurat trading on Diwali. Trading will be in multiples of 1 gram and deliveries in multiples of 10 gram and 100 grams. It will have T+1 settlement.

Ø बीएसई, या बॉम्बे स्टॉक एक्सचेंज ने सोमवार, 24 अक्टूबर 2022 को अपने प्लेटफॉर्म पर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक गोल्ड रिसीप्ट (ईजीआर) लॉन्च किया। इसने दिवाली के अवसर पर मुहूर्त ट्रेडिंग के दौरान 995 और 999 शुद्धता के दो नए उत्पाद पेश किए हैं। यह ट्रेडिंग 1 ग्राम के गुणकों में होगी और इसकी डिलीवरी 10 ग्राम और 100 ग्राम के गुणकों में होगी। इसमें टी+1 के आधार पर सेटलमेंट होगा।

5. Public sector lender Indian Bank has rolled out six new digital initiatives under ‘Project WAVE’ for enhancing customer experience through integrated services on its digital platform. Indian Bank along with Universal Sompo General Insurance will provide online vehicle and health insurance through its mobile banking app IndOASIS.

Ø सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के ऋणदाता इंडियन बैंक ने अपने डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर एकीकृत सेवाओं के माध्यम से ग्राहक अनुभव बढ़ाने के लिए 'प्रोजेक्ट वेव' के अंतर्गत छह नई डिजिटल पहल प्रारम्भ की है। यूनिवर्सल सोम्पो जनरल इंश्योरेंस के साथ इंडियन बैंक अपने मोबाइल बैंकिंग ऐप IndOASIS के माध्यम से यह ऑनलाइन वाहन और स्वास्थ्य बीमा प्रदान करेगा।

6. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Wednesday launched a common credit portal SAFAL' (Simplified Application for Agricultural Loans) for the welfare of farmers. The facility will enable farmers and agri-entrepreneurs to access more than 300 term loan products of over 40 banks. The portal will ease the loan application process benefiting both the farmers and banks significantly.

Ø ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने किसानों के कल्याण के लिए एक साझा क्रेडिट पोर्टल 'सफल' (कृषि ऋण के लिए सरलीकृत आवेदन) लॉन्च किया है।  यह सुविधा किसानों और कृषि-उद्यमियों को 40 से अधिक बैंकों के 300 से अधिक सावधि ऋण उत्पादों तक पहुंचने में सक्षम बनाएगी। पोर्टल ऋण आवेदन प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाएगा जिससे किसानों और बैंकों दोनों को काफी लाभ होगा।

7. World Psoriasis Day, observed on October 29, shines a light on challenges faced by those suffering from psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Psoriasis is a disease that results from an overactive immune system and is evidenced by rashes on the skin. While most immune systems take 30 or so days to push new cells to the skin, those with psoriasis push new cells within two to three days.

Ø 29 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाने वाला विश्व सोरायसिस दिवस, सोरायसिस और सोरियाटिक गठिया से पीड़ित लोगों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर प्रकाश डालता है। सोरायसिस एक ऐसी बीमारी है जो एक अति सक्रिय प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली के परिणामस्वरूप होती है और त्वचा पर चकत्ते के रूप में प्रकट होती है। यद्यपि अधिकांश प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली त्वचा में नई कोशिकाओं को जन्म देने में 30 या उससे अधिक दिन लेती हैं, सोरायसिस वाले लोग दो से तीन दिनों के भीतर नई कोशिकाओं को जन्म देते हैं।

8. Fiji is the first country in the Pacific to hold the 12th World Hindi Conference.  The conference is taking place under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs and the Government of Fiji from February 15-17, 2023 and external affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will lead the Indian delegation for the Conference.

Ø 12वां विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन आयोजित करने वाला देश फिजी,  प्रशांत क्षेत्र का पहला देश बन गया है। यह सम्मेलन 15-17 फरवरी, 2023 तक विदेश मंत्रालय और फिजी सरकार के तत्वावधान में हो रहा है और विदेश मंत्री डॉ एस जयशंकर सम्मेलन के लिए भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करेंगे।

9. Indian Air Force (IAF) and French Air and Space Force (FASF) are participating in a bilateral exercise, named 'Garuda VIl', from 26 October to 12 November 2022 at Air Force Station Jodhpur. This is the seventh edition of the bilateral exercise. The first, third and fifth editions were conducted in India in 2003, 2006 and 2014 at Air Force Stations Gwalior, Kalaikunda and Jodhpur, respectively. The second, fourth and sixth editions were conducted in France in 2005, 2010 and 2019.

Ø भारतीय वायु सेना (आईएएफ) और फ्रांसीसी वायु और अंतरिक्ष बल (एफएएसएफ) दिनांक 26 अक्टूबर से 12 नवंबर, 2022 तक जोधपुर वायु सेना स्टेशन पर 'गरुड़ VIl' नामक एक द्विपक्षीय अभ्यास में भाग ले रहे हैं। यह द्विपक्षीय अभ्यास का सातवां संस्करण है। पहला, तीसरा और पांचवां संस्करण भारत में क्रमशः 2003, 2006 और 2014 में वायु सेना स्टेशनों ग्वालियर, कलाईकुंडा और जोधपुर में आयोजित किया गया था । दूसरा, चौथा और छठा संस्करण फ्रांस में 2005, 2010 और 2019 में आयोजित किया गया था।

10. The Indian Navy is hosting the 29th edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) from 26 to 30 October, 2022 at Visakhapatnam. SIMBEX-2022 is being conducted in two phases – Harbour Phase at Visakhapatnam from 26 to 27 October 2022 followed by the Sea Phase in Bay of Bengal from 28 to 30 October 2022.  SIMBEX series of exercises began in 1994 and were initially known as Exercise Lion King.

Ø भारतीय नौसेना विशाखापत्तनम में 26 से 30 अक्टूबर, 2022 तक सिंगापुर-भारत द्विपक्षीय नौसैनिक अभ्यास (सिम्बेक्स) के 29वें संस्करण की मेजबानी कर रही है। सिम्बेक्स-2022 दो चरणों में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। पहले चरण में विशाखापत्तनम में बंदरगाह पर तटीय अभ्यास 26 से 27 अक्टूबर 2022 तक आयोजित किया गया। इसके बाद 28 से 30 अक्टूबर 2022 तक बंगाल की खाड़ी में समुद्री चरण का अभ्यास किया जा रहा है।  अभ्यास की सिम्बेक्स श्रृंखला वर्ष 1994 में शुरू हुई थी। प्रारंभ में इसे एक्सरसाइज लायन किंग के नाम में जाना जाता था।
