1. As a part of its series of sensitization programmes that are aimed at promoting the export of millets and its value-added products, the Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) organised a Virtual-Buyer Seller Meet to harness export opportunities in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Buyer Seller Meet was organized in association with Indian Mission in UAE under the leadership of Indian Ambassador to UAE Shri Sanjay Sudir.

• संवेदनीकरण कार्यक्रमों की एक श्रृंखला; जिसका लक्ष्य मोटे अनाजों तथा इसके मूल्य वर्धित उत्पादों के निर्यात को प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करना है, के अंतर्गत कृषि एवं प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पाद निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण ( एपीडा ) ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात ( यूएई ) में निर्यात अवसरों के लाभ लेने के लिए एक वर्चुअल क्रेता विक्रेता बैठक का आयोजन किया था। क्रेता-विक्रेता बैठक का आयोजन यूएई में भारतीय राजदूत श्री संजय सुदीर की अध्यक्षता में भारतीय मिशन के सहयोग से किया गया था।

2. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to enable Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) to provide services offered by Common Service Centers. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Cooperation, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, NABARD, and CSC e-Governance Services India Limited in New Delhi. 

कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर द्वारा दी जाने वाली सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए प्राथमिक कृषि ऋण समितियों (PACS) को सक्षम करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। नई दिल्ली में सहकारिता मंत्रालय, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, नाबार्ड और सीएससी ई-गवर्नेंस सर्विसेज इंडिया लिमिटेड के बीच इस समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं।

3. On the occasion of India's presidency of the G-20, through the theme 'One Earth, One Family,One Future', a one-day workshop was organized at Noronha Administrative Academy, Bhopal on the Madhya Pradesh Farm Gate App and Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), with the aim of encouraging the sense of global unity and increasing the participation of women in the field of agriculture. The main objective of this workshop was to increase the participation of women in the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and M.P. Farm Gate.

• भारत की जी-20 की अध्यक्षता के अवसर पर, ‘ एक पृथ्वी, एक परिवार, एक भविष्य ‘ विषय वस्तु के माध्यम से, नरोन्हा प्रशासनिक अकादमी, भोपाल में मध्य प्रदेश फार्म गेट ऐप तथा कृषि अवसंरचना फंड ( एआईएफ ) पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया है, जिसका लक्ष्य वैश्विक एकता की भावना को प्रोत्साहित प्रदान करना एवं कृषि के क्षेत्र में महिला उद्यमियों की सहभागिता में वृद्धि करना था। इस कार्यशाला का मुख्य उद्वेश्य कृषि अवसंरचना फंड ( एआईएफ ) एवं मध्य प्रदेश फार्म गट ऐप में महिलाओं की सहभागिता को प्रोतासाहना प्रदान करना था।

4. As part of furthering the ‘Green Growth’ agenda, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Engineers India Limited to develop Waste to Energy and bio-methanation projects in cities with a population of million plus. EIL will assist and handhold the million plus cities in developing such projects for larger quantum of waste integrating circularity in waste management. In the first phase, 25 million plus cities will be selected for developing large-scale process plants. 

• 'हरित विकास' एजेंडे में वृद्धि करने के उद्देश्य से आवास और शहरी कार्यों के मंत्रालय ने दस लाख से अधिक आबादी वाले शहरों में अपशिष्ट से ऊर्जा और जैव-मिथेनेशन परियोजनाओं को विकसित करने के लिए इंजीनियर्स इंडिया लिमिटेड के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। ईआईएल, वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट में सर्कुलैरिटी को एकीकृत करने वाले कचरे की बड़ी मात्रा के लिए ऐसी परियोजनाओं को विकसित करने में इन शहरों की सहायता करेगा। पहले चरण में, 10 लाख से ज्यादा आबादी वाले 25 शहरों को बड़े पैमाने पर कचरे से बिजली और बायो-मीथेनेशन विकसित करने के लिए चुना जाएगा। 

5. Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh was recently conferred a Lifetime Achievement Honour by the India-UK Achievers Honours in London for his contribution to economic and political life. The India-UK Achievers Honours by NISAU UK, in partnership with the British Council in India and the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), celebrate the achievements of Indian students who studied at British universities and the Lifetime Achievement Honour is a nod to Dr Singh’s academic achievements at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

• पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री डॉ मनमोहन सिंह को हाल ही में आर्थिक और राजनीतिक जीवन में उनके योगदान के लिए लंदन में इंडिया-यूके अचीवर्स ऑनर्स द्वारा लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया था। भारत में ब्रिटिश काउंसिल और यूके के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार विभाग (डीआईटी) के साथ साझेदारी के अंतर्गत निसायू यूके द्वारा इंडिया-यूके एचीवर्स ऑनर्स, ब्रिटिश विश्वविद्यालयों में अध्ययन करने वाले भारतीय छात्रों की उपलब्धियों को चिन्हित करते हैं और ऑक्सफोर्ड और कैम्ब्रिज विश्वविद्यालयों में अकादमिक उपलब्धियां के लिए  लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट के लिए डॉ मनमोहन सिंह को चुना गया है। 

6. Government of Goa has launched the Vision for All School Eye Health program in partnership with One Sight Essilor Luxottica Foundation and Prasad Netralaya. The programme is an extension of the current Vision for All Goa eye health program. The Vision for All Goa eye health program commenced in February 2021 and its monthly camps have screened 50,000 citizens as well as provided free spectacles to 16,000 people in need.

• गोवा सरकार ने वन साइट एस्सिलोर लक्सोटिका फाउंडेशन और प्रसाद नेत्रालय के साथ साझेदारी करते हुए विजन फॉर ऑल स्कूल आई हेल्थ प्रोग्राम लॉन्च किया है। यह कार्यक्रम सभी गोवा नेत्र स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के लिए वर्तमान विजन का विस्तार है। विजन फॉर ऑल गोवा आई हेल्थ प्रोग्राम फरवरी 2021 में प्रारम्भ हुआ था और इसके मासिक शिविरों ने 50,000 नागरिकों की जांच की और साथ ही 16,000 लोगों को मुफ्त चश्मा प्रदान किया है।

7. Legendary filmmaker and Dadasaheb Phalke awardee K. Viswanath passed away. He was 92. Popularly known as Kalatapasvi, Viswanath was born in 1930 in Andhra Pradesh and gained popularity in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. He received the highest recognition in Indian Cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 2016. He received Padma Shri in 1992, five National Awards, and 20 Nandi Awards besides 10 Filmfare trophies including the Lifetime Achievement award.

• महान फिल्म निर्माता और दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित के. विश्वनाथ का निधन हो गया है। वह 92 वर्ष के थे। कलातपस्वी के नाम से लोकप्रिय, विश्वनाथ का जन्म वर्ष 1930 में आंध्र प्रदेश में हुआ था और उन्होंने तेलुगु, तमिल और हिंदी फिल्मों में लोकप्रियता प्राप्त की थी। उन्हें वर्ष 2016 में दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ और इसके साथ ही भारतीय सिनेमा में सर्वोच्च पहचान मिली। उन्हें 1992 में पद्म श्री, पांच राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार और 20 नंदी पुरस्कार के साथ ही लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार सहित 10 फिल्मफेयर ट्राफियां प्राप्त हुई हैं।

8. The indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas in Final Operational Clearance configuration will hold a centre stage of India Pavilion at the 14th edition of Aero India shows to be held in Bengaluru from the 13th to 17th of February. India Pavilion will showcase the growth of India in developing an eco-system for Fixed Wing Platforms. Asia's biggest Aero India show is organised with the theme, “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities”.

• फाइनल ऑपरेशनल क्लीयरेंस कॉन्फिगरेशन के अंतर्गत स्वदेशी लाइट कॉम्बैट एयरक्राफ्ट तेजस 13 से 17 फरवरी तक बेंगलुरु में आयोजित होने वाले एयरो इंडिया शो के 14वें संस्करण में इंडिया पवेलियन का मुख्य मंच होगा। इंडिया पवेलियन फिक्स्ड विंग प्लेटफॉर्म के लिए एक इको-सिस्टम विकसित करने में भारत के विकास को प्रदर्शित करेगा। एशिया का सबसे बड़ा एयरो इंडिया शो "द रनवे टू ए बिलियन ऑपर्च्युनिटीज" थीम के साथ आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

9. Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurates First Sustainable Finance Working Group Meeting of G20 under India's Presidency in Guwahati. The 1st SFWG meeting is attended in person by 95 delegates from G-20 member countries, 10 invitee countries and 14 international organisations. The G-20 SFWG aims to mobilise sustainable finance to help ensure global growth and stability and promote the transition towards greener, more resilient, and inclusive societies and economies. 

• सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने गुवाहाटी में भारत की अध्यक्षता में जी20 की पहली सतत वित्त कार्य समूह बैठक का उद्घाटन किया है। पहली SFWG बैठक में G-20 सदस्य देशों, 10 आमंत्रित देशों और 14 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के 95 प्रतिनिधियों ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से भाग लिया। G-20 SFWG का उद्देश्य वैश्विक विकास और स्थिरता सुनिश्चित करने में सहायता करने के लिए स्थायी वित्त जुटाना है और हरित, अधिक लचीला और समावेशी समाजों और अर्थव्यवस्थाओं की ओर संक्रमण को प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करना है।

10. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Krishnaguru Eknaam Akhanda Kirtan for World Peace at Barpeta in Assam today, February 3, through video conferencing. The Prime Minister will also address the devotees of Krishnaguru Sevashram. Paramguru Krishnaguru Ishwar established the Krishnaguru Sevashram in 1974. He is the ninth descendant of Mahavaishnab Manohardeva, who was a follower of the great Vaishnavite saint Srimanta Sankardeva. 

• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 3 फरवरी को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए असम के बारपेटा में विश्व शांति के लिए कृष्णगुरु एकनाम अखंड कीर्तन में भाग लेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री कृष्णगुरु सेवाश्रम के श्रद्धालुओं को भी संबोधित करेंगे। परमगुरु कृष्णगुरु ईश्वर ने 1974 में कृष्णगुरु सेवाश्रम की स्थापना की। वे महावैष्णव मनोहरदेव के नौवें वंशज हैं, जो महान वैष्णव संत श्रीमंत शंकरदेव के अनुयायी थे।
