1.The National Zoological Park, New Delhi (Delhi Zoo) celebrated International Jaguar Day on November 29.  International Jaguar Day was created to raise awareness about the increasing threats facing the jaguar and the critical conservation efforts ensuring its survival. Observed annually on November 29, International Jaguar Day celebrates the Americas’ largest wild cat as an umbrella species for biodiversity conservation and an icon for sustainable development and the centuries-old cultural heritage of Central and South America.

Ø नेशनल जूलॉजिकल पार्क, नई दिल्ली (दिल्ली चिड़ियाघर) ने 29 नवंबर को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय जगुआर दिवस मनाया। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय जगुआर दिवस जगुआर के सामने बढ़ते खतरों और इसके अस्तित्व को सुनिश्चित करने वाले महत्वपूर्ण संरक्षण प्रयासों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए बनाया गया था। 29 नवंबर को वार्षिक रूप से मनाया जाने वाला, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय जगुआर दिवस अमेरिका की सबसे बड़ी जंगली बिल्ली को जैव विविधता संरक्षण के लिए एक छाता प्रजाति के रूप में और सतत विकास और मध्य और दक्षिण अमेरिका की सदियों पुरानी सांस्कृतिक विरासत के लिए एक प्रतीक के रूप में मनाता है।

2. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked Paytm Payments Services Limited to resubmit the application to operate as payment aggregator. The banking regulator put a pause on onboarding of online merchants by Paytm Payments Services. The company will not onboard new online merchants till the time approvals remain pending. The company had re-submitted the required documents in September 2021.

Ø भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने पेटीएम पेमेंट्स सर्विसेज लिमिटेड को भुगतान एग्रीगेटर के रूप में काम करने के लिए किए जाने वाले आवेदन को फिर से जमा करने के लिए कहा है। बैंकिंग नियामक ने पेटीएम भुगतान सेवाओं द्वारा ऑनलाइन व्यापारियों की ऑनबोर्डिंग पर वर्तमान में रोक लगा दी है। यह अनुमोदन लंबित रहने तक कंपनी नए ऑनलाइन व्यापारियों को ऑनबोर्ड नहीं करेगी। कंपनी ने सितंबर 2021 में आवश्यक दस्तावेज दोबारा जमा किए थे।

3.The City of Lakes, Udaipur is gearing up to host the first G20 Sherpa Meeting in India from 4 to 7 December. The meeting is aimed at fostering growth and building bonds amongst the twenty nations. The Sherpa Meeting of the G20 Summit is a preliminary meeting of the government representatives before the main G20 Summit.

Ø झीलों का शहर उदयपुर 4 से 7 दिसंबर तक भारत में पहली जी-20 शेरपा बैठक की मेजबानी करने करने जा रहा है। बैठक का उद्देश्य विकास को प्रोत्साहन देना और बीस देशों के बीच संबंधों का निर्माण करना है। जी-20 शिखर सम्मेलन की शेरपा बैठक मुख्य जी-20 शिखर सम्मेलन से पहले सरकार के प्रतिनिधियों की प्रारंभिक बैठक होती है।

4. Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, an Indian origin German national, has been appointed to the Thuringia state Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party Presidium. Randhawa has been an active member of the CDU and has served in the party for several years now. His commitment to the party and hard work has been recognised by the CDU leadership and in August 2022, he was elected as the first representative of the Indian community in Germany. This was the first time that an Indian has been appointed to any state Presidium in Germany by the CDU.

Ø भारतीय मूल के जर्मन नागरिक गुरदीप सिंह रंधावा को थुरिंगिया राज्य क्रिश्चियन डेमोक्रेटिक यूनियन (सीडीयू) पार्टी प्रेसिडियम में नियुक्त किया गया है। रंधावा सीडीयू के सक्रिय सदस्य रह चुके हैं और उन्होंने कई वर्षों तक पार्टी में कार्य किया है। पार्टी के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता और विशेष प्रयासों को सीडीयू नेतृत्व ने मान्यता दी और अगस्त 2022 में उन्हें जर्मनी में भारतीय समुदाय के पहले प्रतिनिधि के रूप में चुना गया था। यह पहली बार था जब किसी भारतीय को सीडीयू द्वारा जर्मनी के किसी राज्य प्रेसीडियम में नियुक्त किया गया है।

5.Chennai-based space-tech startup AgniKul Cosmos inaugurated India’s first-ever private launchpad at Sriharikota, ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre.   The facility was inaugurated by S Somanath, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman and Secretary in the Department of Space.   The facility was designed by Agnikul Cosmos and executed in support of ISRO and Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe). It has two sections: the Agnikul launchpad and the Agnikul mission control center.

Ø चेन्नई स्थित स्पेस-टेक स्टार्टअप अग्निकुल कॉसमॉस ने इसरो के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र, श्रीहरिकोटा में भारत के पहले निजी लॉन्चपैड का उद्घाटन किया है। इस सुविधा का उद्घाटन भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) के अध्यक्ष, एस सोमनाथ और अंतरिक्ष विभाग के सचिव द्वारा किया गया है। इस सुविधा को अग्निकुल कॉसमॉस द्वारा डिजाइन किया गया था और इसरो और भारतीय राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष संवर्धन और प्राधिकरण केंद्र (IN-SPACe) के समर्थन में निष्पादित किया गया था। इसके अंतर्गत दो खंड हैं: अग्निकुल लॉन्चपैड और अग्निकुल मिशन नियंत्रण केंद्र।

6.The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) approved the appointment of Sundararaman Ramamurthy as the managing director & chief executive officer of BSE. BSE established in 1875, is Asia's first & the world's fastest stock exchange with a speed of 6 microseconds. BSE provides market for trading in equity, debt instruments, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, interest rate derivatives, mutual funds and stock lending and borrowing.

7. ‘Yaanam,’ a non-feature film, was screened under the Indian Panorama section at the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival at Goa. It is based on the autobiographical book “My Odyssey: Memoirs of the Man Behind the Mangalyaan Mission” by former space chairman Padma Bhushan Dr K. Radhakrishnan. ‘Yaanam’ movie portrays India’s dream project Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan). It is the first science documentary in the Sanskrit language in the history of world cinema.

Ø गोवा में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव के 53वें संस्करण में भारतीय पैनोरमा वर्ग के अंतर्गत एक गैर-फीचर फिल्म 'यानम' प्रदर्शित की गई है। यह पूर्व अंतरिक्ष अध्यक्ष पद्म भूषण डॉ. के. राधाकृष्णन की आत्मकथात्मक पुस्तक "माई ओडिसी: मेमोयर्स ऑफ द मैन बिहाइंड द मंगलयान मिशन" पर आधारित है। यानम' फिल्म भारत के ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट मार्स ऑर्बिटर मिशन (मंगलयान) को चित्रित करती है। यह विश्व सिनेमा के इतिहास में संस्कृत भाषा में पहला विज्ञान वृत्तचित्र है।

8.Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) was conferred with the ‘Award of Excellence’ at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation-2022 on Saturday. In late 2019, the museum–in the run-up to its centenary celebration on January 10, 2022—initiated comprehensive repairs, restoration and refurbishment of the main and extension building, exterior and interiors and main dome in a phased manner.

Ø छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज वास्तु संग्रहालय (CSMVS) को संयुक्त राष्ट्र शैक्षिक, वैज्ञानिक और सांस्कृतिक संगठन (यूनेस्को) एशिया-पैसिफिक अवार्ड्स फॉर कल्चरल हेरिटेज कंजर्वेशन-2022 में 'अवार्ड ऑफ एक्सीलेंस' से सम्मानित किया गया है। वर्ष 2019 के अंत में, संग्रहालय ने- 10 जनवरी, 2022 को अपने शताब्दी समारोह के क्रम में- चरणबद्ध तरीके से मुख्य और विस्तार भवन, बाहरी और अंदरूनी और मुख्य गुंबद की व्यापक मरम्मत, बहाली और नवीनीकरण की शुरुआत की थी।

9.Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today launched the Har Ghar Gangajal project in Rajgir. It is a unique and ambitious initiative to provide Ganga water on tap in the parched areas of the state. The scheme will help to harvest the excess water of the Ganga during the monsoon season. The water will be stored in reservoirs in Rajgir and Gaya before being channelled to three treatment-and-purification plants, from where it will be supplied to the public. Har Ghar Gangajal is part of the Bihar government’s Jal, Jeevan, Hariyali scheme.

Ø बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने राजगीर में हर घर गंगाजल परियोजना का शुभारंभ किया है। यह राज्य के सूखे क्षेत्रों में नल पर गंगा जल उपलब्ध कराने की एक अनूठी और महत्वाकांक्षी पहल है। यह योजना मानसून के मौसम के दौरान गंगा के अतिरिक्त पानी का संचयन करने में सहायता प्रदान करेगी। पानी को राजगीर और गया के जलाशयों में संग्रहित किया जाएगा और इसके बाद तीन उपचार और शोधन संयंत्रों में भेजा जाएगा, जहां से इसे जनता को आपूर्ति की जाएगी। हर घर गंगाजल बिहार सरकार की जल, जीवन, हरियाली योजना का हिस्सा है।

10.The world's largest active volcano, Hawaii's Mauna Loa, has erupted for the first time in almost 40 years. The lava flow is mostly contained within the summit, but residents have been placed on alert and were earlier warned about the risk of falling ash. The volcano's alert level has also been upgraded from an "advisory" to a "warning" - the highest classification. Mauna Loa, located inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, covers half of the US state's Big Island. The volcano rises 13,679ft (4,169m) above sea level and spans an area of more than 2,000 sq miles (5,179 sq km).
