1. Elon Musk-owned SpaceX has launched 54 Starlink satellites to orbit atop its Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The company will now deploy satellites to new orbits enabling the company to add more customers to internet service. The satellites have been launched from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and they will be deployed in low- Earth orbit. These include GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, and Nilesat 301.

Ø एलोन मस्क के स्वामित्व वाली स्पेसएक्स ने अपने फाल्कन 9 लॉन्च वाहन की कक्षा में 54 स्टारलिंक उपग्रह लॉन्च किए हैं। यह कंपनी अब उपग्रहों को नई कक्षाओं में स्थापित करेगी, जिससे कंपनी इंटरनेट सेवा में अधिक ग्राहकों को जोड़ने में सक्षम होगी। उपग्रहों को फ्लोरिडा के केप कैनावेरल स्पेस फोर्स स्टेशन के स्पेस लॉन्च कॉम्प्लेक्स 40 (SLC-40) से लॉन्च किया गया है और उन्हें लो-अर्थ ऑर्बिट में स्थापित किया जाएगा। इनमें GPS III स्पेस व्हीकल 04, GPS III स्पेस व्हीकल 05, इंस्पिरेशन4, Ax-1 और Nilesat 301 शामिल हैं।

2.  Former world rapid champion Koneru Humpy has won India’s first-ever Silver medal in the FIDE World Blitz Chess Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Humpy defeated China’s Zhongyi Tan to win Silver in the 17th and final round. Fourth seeded Humpy scored an impressive 12.5 points, just half a point behind the gold medal winner Bibisara Balabayeva of Kazakhastan. Humpy is the second Indian to win a medal at World Blitz, after Viswanathan Anand.

Ø पूर्व विश्व रैपिड चैंपियन कोनेरू हम्पी ने अल्माटी, कजाकिस्तान में FIDE वर्ल्ड ब्लिट्ज शतरंज चैंपियनशिप में भारत के लिए पहला रजत पदक जीता है। हंपी ने 17वें और अंतिम दौर में चीन की झोंग्यी टैन को हराकर रजत पदक जीता है। चौथी वरीयता प्राप्त हंपी ने कजाखस्तान की स्वर्ण पदक विजेता बिबिसारा बालाबायेवा से मात्र आधा अंक पीछे 12.5 अंकों पर रहते हुए शानदार प्रदर्शन किया है। हम्पी, विश्वनाथन आनंद के बाद विश्व ब्लिट्ज में पदक जीतने वाली दूसरी भारतीय हैं।

3. Hockey Haryana's women's team won the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 Women’s Under 18 Qualifiers after defeating Madhya Pradesh 2-0 in the final at Bhubaneswar. Odisha stepped up to claim third place after beating Hockey Jharkhand 2-1 in the 3rd and 4th place encounter.  Sanjna Horo scored for Jharkhand but Odisha came back with goals from Puja Sahoo and Sunelita Toppo to complete a thrilling comeback. Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Jharkhand have qualified for the Khelo India Youth Games to be held in Madhya Pradesh next year.

Ø हॉकी हरियाणा की महिला टीम ने भुवनेश्वर में फाइनल में मध्य प्रदेश को 2-0 से हराकर खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स 2022 महिला अंडर 18 क्वालीफायर में जीत हासिल की है। संजना होरो ने झारखंड के लिए गोल किया, लेकिन ओडिशा ने वापसी करते हुए पूजा साहू और सुनिलिता टोप्पो के गोल कर रोमांचक वापसी की। अगले वर्ष मध्य प्रदेश में होने वाले खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स के लिए हरियाणा, मध्य प्रदेश, ओडिशा और झारखंड ने क्वालीफाई किया है।

4. The combined Index of Eight Core Industries increased by 5.4 per cent (provisional) in November 2022 as compared to the Index of November 2021. The production of Cement, Coal, Electricity, Steel and Fertilizers increased in November 2022 over the corresponding month of last year. ICI measures combined and individual performance of production of eight core industries viz. Coal, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Refinery Products, Fertilizers, Steel, Cement and Electricity. The Eight Core Industries comprise 40.27 percent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP).

Ø नवंबर 2021 के सूचकांक की तुलना में नवंबर 2022 में आठ प्रमुख उद्योगों का संयुक्त सूचकांक 5.4 प्रतिशत (अनंतिम रूप से) बढ़ा है। नवंबर 2022 में सीमेंट, कोयला, बिजली, स्टील और उर्वरक का उत्पादन पिछले वर्ष के इसी माह की तुलना में बढ़ा है। आईसीआई आठ प्रमुख उद्योगों; कोयला, कच्चा तेल, प्राकृतिक गैस, रिफाइनरी उत्पाद, उर्वरक, स्टील, सीमेंट और बिजली, के उत्पादन के संयुक्त और व्यक्तिगत प्रदर्शन को मापता है। । आठ प्रमुख उद्योगों में औद्योगिक उत्पादन सूचकांक (आईआईपी) में शामिल वस्तुओं के भार का 40.27 प्रतिशत शामिल है।

5.  Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated Mega Dairy at Mandya in Karnataka today. Several dignitaries including Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, the 72nd Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, Mandya, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Basavaraj Bommai, former Prime Minister Shri HD Deve Gowda and Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Coal and Mines Shri Pralhad Joshi were present on the occasion.

6.  The National Health Authority (NHA) is releasing the beta version of a lightweight, robust, and ABDM-compliant Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). This HMIS solution is envisioned to provide a digital platform for healthcare providers, particularly focusing on private clinics and small health facilities. NHA is the nodal agency for implementing Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) which aims to develop the backbone for the digital health infrastructure in India.

Ø राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य प्राधिकरण (एनएचए) हल्के, सशक्त और एबीडीएम-अनुरूप अस्पताल प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली (एचएमआईएस) का बीटा संस्करण जारी कर रहा है। यह एचएमआईएस समाधान स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदाताओं के लिए विशेष रूप से निजी क्लीनिकों और छोटी स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए एक डिजिटल मंच प्रदान करने के लिए तैयार किया गया है। एनएचए आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन (एबीडीएम) को लागू करने के लिए नोडल एजेंसी है, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत में डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य बुनियादी ढांचे का विकास करना है।

7.  India has achieved the unique distinction of operationalizing two Trade Agreements this year. After the entry into force of India UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement on May 1 earlier this year, the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement has come into effect from today, i.e., December 29, 2022. The ECTA was signed on April 2, 2022, ratified on November 21, written notifications were exchanged on November 29 and after 30 days, the Agreement has come into force today. The Ind-Aus ECTA provides an institutional mechanism to encourage and improve trade between the two countries. It covers almost all the tariff lines dealt by India and Australia.

Ø भारत ने इस वर्ष दो व्यापार समझौतों के संचालन का अनूठा गौरव हासिल किया है। इस वर्ष की शुरुआत में 1 मई को भारत यूएई व्यापक आर्थिक साझेदारी समझौते के लागू होने के बाद, भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया आर्थिक सहयोग और व्यापार समझौता अबसे प्रभावी हो गया है। 2 अप्रैल, 2022 को ईसीटीए पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे; 21 नवंबर को अनुसमर्थन किया गया, 29 नवंबर को लिखित सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान किया गया और 30 दिनों के बाद यह समझौता अब लागू हो गया है। भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया ईसीटीए दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार को प्रोत्साहित करने और सुधारने के लिए एक संस्थागत तंत्र प्रदान करता है। इसमें भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया द्वारा संचालित लगभग सभी टैरिफ लाइनें शामिल हैं।

8. The Department of Posts under Ministry of Communications has launched an ‘Online request Transfer Portal’ for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). Shri Alok Sharma, Director General Postal Services launched the portal through Video Conference in the virtual presence of Chief Postmaster Generals of 23 Postal Circles and Senior Officers of the Department. The Department of Posts has the largest network of Post Offices in the world consisting of more than 1,56,000 Post Offices across India, out of which more than 1,31,000 Branch Post Offices (BOs) are in rural areas, where the Postal facilities are rendered through Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).

9.  The State Information Commission of Tamil Nadu has been the worst performing as far as responsiveness under the RTI Act is concerned, furnishing only 14% of the information sought. Maharashtra was second-worst, sharing 23% of the information asked for, according to a report card on the performance of Information Commissions (ICs) in India for 2021-22 by the Satark Nagrik Sangathan. Only 10 ICs provided full information in response to the RTI applications filed as part of this assessment. These included Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand and northeastern States of Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura.

10. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be inaugurating the first phase of the bridge, located some 15 kilometres from here on the highway connecting North and South Goa districts, at 6pm on December 29. The second phase would also be inaugurated soon. The bridge is part of a Rs 2,530 crore project covering a distance of 13.2 kilometres between Bambolim and Verna villages. The Zuari bridge is the India's second longest cable-stayed bridge. Mumbai's Bandra-Worli sea link is the India's longest cable stayed bridge.
