Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India received the Porter Prize 2023. The prize was announced at “The India Dialog” organized by Institute for Competitiveness and US Asia Technology Management Center.
भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय को पोर्टर पुरस्कार 2023 प्राप्त हुआ है। इस पुरस्कार की घोषणा, प्रतिस्पर्धा संस्थान और यूएस एशिया टेक्नोलॉजी मैनेजमेंट सेंटर द्वारा आयोजित ‘द इंडिया डायलॉग’ में की गई थी।
Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended as Chief Guest the foundation stone laying ceremony of northeast India's first-ever compressed biogas plant project in Kamrup district. The plant proposed to be operational from November 2023.

India and Australia signed a Framework Mechanism for Mutual Recognition of Qualifications that will help ease the mobility of students and professionals between the two countries. The agreement was signed following a bilateral meeting in New Delhi between India’s Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and the Australian Education Minister Mr. Jason Clare.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) celebrated its 18th Foundation Day on 2nd March 2023 on “Empowering Girl Child” in New Delhi. NCPCR invited girl children from bordering villages of 75 districts across the country for the programme.

National Safety Day is celebrated on 4 March every year in India. The main aim of the day is to highlight safety measures and make sure that people are aware of them and follow them to avoid accidents at workplace. 4 March also marks the beginning of the National Safety Week in India.

March 4 is observed as National Security Day in India annually. The idea of National Security Day was launched in 1972 and is organised every year. The NSC or the National Safety Council takes responsibility for managing the event every year. The Safety Council was founded by the Ministry of Labour on March 4, 1966.
