1.Senior bureaucrat Ajay Bhadoo has been appointed as the Deputy Election Commissioner by the Centre. Bhadoo, a 1999 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Gujarat cadre, has been appointed to the post up to July 24, 2024. As many as 35 civil servants from different services have been appointed as joint secretaries in the central government departments. Akash Tripathi, a 1998 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MyGov, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.

Ø वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह अजय भादू को केंद्र सरकार द्वारा उप चुनाव आयुक्त के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। गुजरात कैडर के 1999 बैच के भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (आईएएस) अधिकारी भादू को 24 जुलाई, 2024 तक इस पद पर नियुक्त किया गया है। केंद्र सरकार के विभागों में विभिन्न सेवाओं के 35 सिविल सेवकों को संयुक्त सचिव के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। मध्य प्रदेश कैडर के 1998 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी आकाश त्रिपाठी को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।

2. As a part of its welfare measures and social safety net strategy, the Telangana government has introduced the 'Aasara' pensions, with a view to ensuring secured life for all the poor. It is a welfare scheme of pensions to old people, widows, physically disabled and beedi workers.

3. Anees Salim’s The Odd Book of Baby Names (English fiction) and Rudrangshu Mukherjee’s Tagore & Gandhi: Walking Alone, Walking Together (English non-fiction) were among the eight that were adjudged the best books of the year at the ‘Valley of Words Book Awards’ on Friday. The PFC-VoW Book Awards, currently in its sixth edition, is considered one of the most comprehensive independent literary award programmes in India.

4. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited in New Delhi yesterday to boost the initiative visioned by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to promote Millets towards celebration of the International Year of Millets 2023. Both organizations will work together for the promotion and marketing of millet-based products, keeping in view the initiative of “International Year of Millets (IYOM)-2023” proposed by the Government of India to the United Nations, which is to be celebrated across the world.

Ø अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बाजरा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए और बाजरा का वर्ष-2023 के प्रोत्साहन के लिए दिल्ली में कृषि और किसान कल्याण विभाग और नेशनल एग्रीकल्चरल कोऑपरेटिव मार्केटिंग फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर हुआ है। । भारत सरकार द्वारा संयुक्त राष्ट्र को प्रस्तावित "अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजरा वर्ष (IYOM)-2023" की पहल को ध्यान में रखते हुए, दोनों संगठन बाजरा आधारित उत्पादों के प्रचार और विपणन के लिए मिलकर काम करेंगे, जो विश्व भर में मनाया जाना है।

5. President Draupadi Murmu launches 'herSTART' - a start-up platform of Gujarat University for women entrepreneurs. The President also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various projects related to education and tribal development at Gujarat University on the occasion. The projects include the virtual inauguration of five highschools for tribals, laying the foundation stone for a boy's hostel in the Narmada district, and launching of five infrastructure projects of the education department.

Ø राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने महिला उद्यमियों के लिए गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय का एक स्टार्ट-अप प्लेटफॉर्म 'हर्स्टार्ट' लॉन्च किया है। राष्ट्रपति ने इस अवसर पर गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षा और आदिवासी विकास से संबंधित विभिन्न परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास भी किया। परियोजनाओं में आदिवासियों के लिए पांच हाईस्कूलों का आभासी उद्घाटन, नर्मदा जिले में एक लड़कों के छात्रावास की आधारशिला रखना और शिक्षा विभाग की पांच बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ शामिल है।

6. The All India Nau Sainik Camp-2022 (AINSC-22) of the National Cadet Corps commenced under the aegis of NCC Directorate (AP&T) at the campus of the Naval Children School (NCS), at 104 Area, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on October 2 with the reporting of 612 cadets from 17 NCC Directorates of the country.  The camp was formally inaugurated by Air Commodore P Maheshwar, VM Deputy Director General, NCC (AP&T).

Ø राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर का अखिल भारतीय नौ सैनिक शिविर-2022 (AINSC-22) एनसीसी निदेशालय (AP&T) के तत्वावधान में नौसेना चिल्ड्रन स्कूल (NCS) के परिसर में 104 क्षेत्र, विशाखापत्तनम, आंध्र प्रदेश में 2 अक्टूबर को देश के 17 एनसीसी निदेशालयों के 612 कैडेटों की रिपोर्टिंग के साथप्रारम्भ हुआ है। शिविर का औपचारिक उद्घाटन एयर कमोडोर पी महेश्वर, वीएम उप महानिदेशक, एनसीसी (एपी एंड टी) द्वारा किया गया।

7. India’s merchandise export has grown by over 15 per cent to 229 billion US dollar from April to September this year in comparison to the same period last year. The Commerce and Industry Ministry said, the country has achieved merchandise export of over 32 billion dollars in September this year with a decrease of 3.52 per cent in comparison to the same month last year. 

Ø पिछले वर्ष की समान अवधि की तुलना में इस वर्ष अप्रैल से सितंबर तक भारत का व्यापारिक निर्यात 15 प्रतिशत से अधिक बढ़कर 229 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर हो गया है। वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के अनुसार, देश ने इस वर्ष सितंबर में 32 अरब डॉलर से अधिक का व्यापारिक निर्यात प्राप्त किया है, जो पिछले वर्ष के इसी महीने की तुलना में 3.52 प्रतिशत कम है।

8. In the year 2022 Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has also completed 25 years of its existence. In continuance of its silver jubilee celebrations, on the esteemed platform provided by the India Mobile Congress, TRAI today organized a seminar on “Emerging Trends in Broadcasting Sector”. This seminar had been organized in the backdrop of the recent technological developments in the sector and their impact. The seminar was organized in the spirit of the pro-active role of TRAI to work in collaboration with the industry and other stakeholders, and ensure that the regulatory framework fosters and not hinders new technological developments and their adoption.

Ø वर्ष 2022 में भारतीय दूरसंचार नियामक प्राधिकरण (टीआरएआई) ने भी अपनी स्थापना के 25 वर्ष पूरे कर लिए हैं। अपनी रजत जयंती समारोह मनाते हुए ट्राई की ओर से इंडिया मोबाइल कांग्रेस के मंच पर "प्रसारण के क्षेत्र में उभरते रुझान" पर एक संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया था। इस क्षेत्र में हाल के तकनीकी विकास और उनके प्रभाव को लेकर संगोष्ठी में चर्चा की गई।उद्योग और अन्य साझेदारों के साथ सहयोग से काम करने के लिए ट्राई की अगुआई में संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें यह सुनिश्चित किया गया कि नियामक ढांचा नए तकनीकी विकास और उनको अपनाने में बाधा नहीं डालता है।

9. Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh has launched the Web portal for Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2022. The portal www.pmawards.gov.in was launched in New Delhi. The objective of the Scheme is to encourage constructive competition, innovation, replication and institutionalisation of best practices. The total number of Awards under the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration - 2022 will be 16.

Ø कार्मिक, लोक शिकायत और पेंशन राज्य मंत्री डॉ जितेंद्र सिंह ने लोक प्रशासन 2022 में उत्कृष्टता के लिए प्रधानमंत्री पुरस्कार के लिए वेब पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है। यह पोर्टल www.pmawards.gov.in नई दिल्ली में लॉन्च किया गया। इस योजना का उद्देश्य रचनात्मक प्रतिस्पर्धा, नवाचार, प्रतिकृति और सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं के संस्थागतकरण को प्रोत्साहित करना है। लोक प्रशासन में उत्कृष्टता के लिए प्रधान मंत्री पुरस्कार - 2022 के तहत पुरस्कारों की कुल संख्या 16 होगी।

10. The Nobel Prize for Physics 2022 is being shared by three scientists, Alain Aspect, John F Clauser and Anton Zeilinger. The Nobel Prize for Physics 2022 is being shared by three scientists for their work on quantum mechanics.

Ø भौतिक विज्ञान 2022 का नोबेल पुरस्कार तीन वैज्ञानिकों, एलेन एस्पेक्ट, जॉन एफ क्लॉसर और एंटोन ज़िलिंगर द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से साझा किया जा रहा है। भौतिक विज्ञान 2022 का नोबेल पुरस्कार तीनों वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा क्वांटम यांत्रिकी पर उनके काम के लिए प्रदान किया जा रहा है।
