1.India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) conducted India’s First Floating Financial Literacy Camp with an initiative called ‘Niveshak Didi’ to promote Financial Literacy ‘By the women, for the women’, in Srinagar, J&K. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has been established under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication with 100% equity owned by the Government of India. IPPB was launched by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on September 1, 2018.

Ø  इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक (आईपीपीबी) ने श्रीनगर, जम्मू-कश्मीर में वित्तीय साक्षरता 'महिलाओं द्वारा, महिलाओं के लिए' को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए 'निवेशक दीदी' नामक एक पहल के साथ भारत का पहला अस्थायी वित्तीय साक्षरता शिविर आयोजित किया है। इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक (आईपीपीबी) की स्थापना भारत सरकार के स्वामित्व वाली 100% इक्विटी के साथ डाक विभाग, संचार मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत की गई है। आईपीपीबी को 1 सितंबर, 2018 को प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया था।

2. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has Inaugurated the 'Baji Rout National Football Tournament' in Dhenkanal in Odisha. In order to realize this goal, the govt of India in association with the FIFA and All India Football Federation has started the 'Football For School' initiative. Ten lakh footballs will be distributed among the govt and private schools in all the districts of the country through the Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya.

Ø  केंद्रीय मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने ओडिशा के ढेंकनाल में 'बाजी राउत राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट' का उद्घाटन किया है। इस लक्ष्य को साकार करने के लिए, भारत सरकार ने फीफा और अखिल भारतीय फुटबॉल महासंघ के साथ मिलकर 'फुटबॉल फॉर स्कूल' पहल प्रारम्भ की है। जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय के माध्यम से देश के सभी जिलों में सरकारी और निजी स्कूलों में दस लाख फुटबॉल वितरित किए जाएंगे।

3. Chqbook, a neobank for small business owners, has launched a first-of-its-kind digital current account. Small business owners like kiranas, chemists, among others, can open a current account instantly on the Chqbook App from their smartphone and in a language, they are comfortable with. The current account is available in eight languages making it more accessible and easier to understand.

4. Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) has bagged a project to build Mongolia’s first greenfield oil refinery, on the outskirts of the capital city, Ulaanbaatar. The project is aimed at reducing the East Asian country’s dependency on Russian oil imports. The project is part of the development partnership administration initiative of India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

Ø  हैदराबाद स्थित मेघा इंजीनियरिंग एंड इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर लिमिटेड (एमईआईएल) को राजधानी उलानबटार के बाहरी इलाके में मंगोलिया की पहली ग्रीनफील्ड तेल रिफाइनरी बनाने की परियोजना मिली है। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य पूर्वी एशियाई देश की रूसी तेल आयात पर निर्भरता को कम करना है। यह परियोजना भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय की विकास साझेदारी प्रशासन पहल का हिस्सा है।

5. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 'Lakhpati Didi' fair at Survey of India Maidan, Hathibarkala in Dehradun. The fair is part of an initiative undertaken by the BJP government to empower women in the state. The Rural Development department of the Uttarakhand government has made preparations to make 1.25 lakh women from self-help groups 'lakhpatis' (earning over Rs 1 lakh) by 2025.

Ø  उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने देहरादून के हाथीबरकला स्थित सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया मैदान में 'लखपति दीदी' मेले का उद्घाटन किया। यह मेला राज्य में महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए सरकार द्वारा प्रारम्भ की गई एक पहल का हिस्सा है। उत्तराखंड सरकार के ग्रामीण विकास विभाग ने 2025 तक 1.25 लाख महिलाओं को स्वयं सहायता समूहों को 'लखपति' (1 लाख रुपये से अधिक कमाने वाली) बनाने की तैयारी की है।

6. Amit Dasgupta on Thursday was appointed as an Honorary Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to the Australia-India bilateral relationship. There are a number of different Australian Honours Awards which are awarded for different reasons. The main Australian honour is the Order of Australia which confers the highest recognition for outstanding achievement and service.

7. Switzerland is now home to the world’s longest passenger train. The train has 100 coaches, measures 1910 metres and consists of 4,550 seats. The train was seen passing through the mountainous landscape in the Swiss Alps on October 29th, 2022. It was announced at an event marking the 175th anniversary of Switzerland’s railway system.

Ø  स्विट्जरलैंड में विश्व की सबसे लंबी यात्री ट्रेन का संचालन किया गया है। ट्रेन में 100 कोच हैं, जिसकी लम्बाई 1910 मीटर है और इसमें 4,550 सीटें हैं। ट्रेन को 29 अक्टूबर, 2022 को स्विस आल्प्स में पहाड़ी परिदृश्य से गुजरते हुए देखा गया था। स्विट्जरलैंड की रेलवे प्रणाली की 175वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में इसका संचालन किया गया है।

8. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the “CM dashboard”. The portal will have real-time data of all departments and decisions taken on major schemes. The portal will also have information about decisions taken by the administrative wing on major schemes. This will enable tracking of methodology and analysis of reports, further helping in comparison of old and new data.

Ø  हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने "सीएम डैशबोर्ड" लॉन्च किया है। इस पोर्टल में सभी विभागों का रीयल-टाइम डेटा और प्रमुख योजनाओं पर लिए गए निर्णय प्रदर्शित होंगे। पोर्टल में प्रमुख योजनाओं पर प्रशासनिक विंग द्वारा लिए गए निर्णयों की भी जानकारी होगी। इससे कार्यप्रणाली पर निगरानी रखने और रिपोर्ट के विश्लेषण में सहायता मिलेगी और साथ ही साथ पुराने और नए डेटा की तुलना करने में भी सहायता मिलेगी।

9. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) named Subhrakant Panda as its next president. Panda, the Managing Director of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), currently serves as the senior vice-president of FICCI. Panda has been active in FICCI for two decades and was the first chairman of the FICCI Odisha State Council.

Ø  फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (फिक्की) ने सुभ्रकांत पांडा को अपना अगला अध्यक्ष नामित किया है। सुभ्रकांत पांडा, इंडियन मेटल्स एंड फेरो अलॉयज लिमिटेड (आईएमएफए) के प्रबंध निदेशक, वर्तमान में फिक्की के वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। पांडा दो दशकों से फिक्की में सक्रिय हैं और फिक्की ओडिशा राज्य परिषद के पहले अध्यक्ष थे।

10.The Centre set up a high-level panel to strengthen the assessment and accreditation of higher educational institutions. The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of K Radhakrishnan, chairperson, Board of Governors, IIT Kanpur. The mandate of the Committee includes strengthening assessment and accreditation processes and preparing a road map for the National Accreditation Council envisioned in the National Education Policy, 2020.

Ø  Aकेंद्र सरकार ने उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के मूल्यांकन और मान्यता को सशक्त करने के लिए एक उच्च स्तरीय पैनल का गठन किया है। इस समिति का गठन आईआईटी कानपुर के बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नर्स के अध्यक्ष के राधाकृष्णन की अध्यक्षता में किया गया है। समिति के जनादेश में मूल्यांकन और मान्यता प्रक्रियाओं को सशक्त करना और राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति, 2020 में परिकल्पित राष्ट्रीय प्रत्यायन परिषद के लिए एक रूप-रेखा तैयार करना शामिल है।
