1.IIFL Mutual Fund has launched India's first passive tax saver fund, almost six months after the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) introduced the passive alternative in the Equity Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS) space. The scheme, IIFL ELSS Nifty 50 Tax Saver Index Fund, opened for subscription on December 1 and closes on December 21, 2022.

Ø भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) द्वारा इक्विटी लिंक्ड सेविंग्स स्कीम (ईएलएसएस) स्थान में निष्क्रिय विकल्प पेश करने के लगभग छह माह बाद आईआईएफएल म्यूचुअल फंड ने भारत का पहला पैसिव टैक्स सेवर फंड लॉन्च किया है। इस योजना, आईआईएफएल ईएलएसएस निफ्टी 50 टैक्स सेवर इंडेक्स फंड, को 1 दिसंबर को सब्सक्रिप्शन के लिए खोला गया और यह 21 दिसंबर, 2022 को बंद हो जाएगा।

2.   IDFC Asset Management Company Limited (AMC), one of the top 10 AMCs in the country, has received regulatory clearances from regulators for its proposed change in ownership. Securities market regulator SEBI granted the necessary no objection for IDFC AMC’s acquisition by a consortium comprising Bandhan Financial Holdings Limited (BFHL), GIC, and ChrysCapital (CC).

3.The world’s leading full-stack debt support and risk mitigation platform has inaugurated India’s first Innovation Lab (SIL) dedicated to the debt collection segment of banking industries in India and the Middle East. SIL will work with a variety of bank stakeholders to better understand the NPA situation and how the team might be able to use technology to remedy it.

4. Nifty Bharat Bond Index, April 2033, has been launched within the Nifty Bharat Bond Index series. The Bharat Bond Index series follows a target maturity date structure wherein each index in the series measures the performance of a portfolio of 'AAA' rated bonds issued by government owned entities maturing in a specific year.

5.     India has jumped to the 48th position in the global aviation safety ranking by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Four years ago, the country was ranked at the 102nd position. In the ranking, Singapore is at the top, followed by the UAE and South Korea at the second and third positions, respectively, the officials said. Under its Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) Continuous Monitoring Approach, an ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM) was undertaken from November 9 to 16.

6.Remittance flows to India will rise 12 per cent to reach $100 billion this year, according to a World Bank report. That puts its inflows far ahead of countries including Mexico, China and the Philippines. Cash transfers to India from high-income countries climbed to more than 36 per cent in 2020-21, up from 26 per cent in 2016-17. The share from five Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, declined to 28 per cent from 54 per cent, the World Bank said, citing Reserve Bank of India data.

7. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma surpassed former batter Mohammed Azharuddin to become the sixth-highest run-getter for his country in ODI cricket. The batter accomplished this record during India’s first ODI against Bangladesh at Dhaka. Azharuddin had scored 9,378 runs in 334 matches in 308 innings at an average of 36.92, with seven tons and 58 fifties and the best score of 153*.

Ø भारतीय कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट में अपने देश के लिए छठा सबसे अधिक रन बनाने वाले पूर्व बल्लेबाज मोहम्मद अजहरुद्दीन को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। बल्लेबाज ने ढाका में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ भारत के पहले वनडे के दौरान यह रिकॉर्ड बनाया है। अजहरुद्दीन ने 334 मैचों में 308 पारियों में 36.92 की औसत से 9,378 रन बनाए थे, जिसमें सात शतक और 58 अर्द्धशतक और 153 * का सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्कोर शामिल था।

8.The National Zoological Park, Delhi Zoo, celebrated International Cheetah Day and Wildlife Conservation Day in New Delhi on 04th December 2022. The purpose of the celebration is to spread awareness among the present generation about Wildlife Conservation. A team from Delhi Zoo and Central Zoo Authority interacted with 175 Divyang students and all students took part in the Wildlife Conservation Pledge.

Ø राष्ट्रीय प्राणी उद्यान, दिल्ली चिड़ियाघर ने 04 दिसंबर 2022 को नई दिल्ली में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय चीता दिवस और वन्यजीव संरक्षण दिवस मनाया है। इस उत्सव का उद्देश्य वन्यजीव संरक्षण के बारे में वर्तमान पीढ़ी के बीच जागरूकता फैलाना है। दिल्ली चिड़ियाघर और केंद्रीय चिड़ियाघर प्राधिकरण की एक टीम ने 175 दिव्यांग छात्रों से बातचीत की और सभी छात्रों ने वन्यजीव संरक्षण प्रतिज्ञा में भाग लिया।

9. Ladakh is all set to have India's first Dark Night Sky Reserve at Hanle village in Changthang region. In about eighteen locations in Hanley, powerful telescopes will be installed for stargazing. At an elevation of 4,500 meters, Hanley is home for the second-highest optical telescope in the world, established in 2001 by Indian Institute of Astrophysics. 

Ø लद्दाख प्रसाशन, चांगथांग क्षेत्र के हनले गांव में भारत का पहला डार्क नाइट स्काई रिजर्व बनाने जा रहा है। हैनली में लगभग अठारह स्थानों पर तारों को देखने के लिए शक्तिशाली दूरबीनें स्थापित की जाएंगी। 4,500 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर, हैनली भारतीय खगोल भौतिकी संस्थान द्वारा 2001 में स्थापित विश्व का दूसरा सबसे ऊँचा ऑप्टिकल टेलीस्कोप भवन है।

10. India is ranked eighth among the countries that are at the highest risk for mass killing in 2022 and 2023. India has seen a drop-in rank from second position in the earlier year. The Project is a joint initiative of the Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College. While Pakistan topped the list this year, Yemen ranked second and Myanmar third.
