1.On November 5, 2001, the United Nations General Assembly announced 6th November as the World Day for preventing environmental exploitation during the war and armed conflict. The day's goals are to increase awareness of the problem and guarantee that the ecosystem and environment are always protected.

Ø  5 नवंबर, 2001 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने युद्ध और सशस्त्र संघर्ष के दौरान पर्यावरण शोषण को रोकने के लिए 6 नवंबर को विश्व दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया था। इस दिन का लक्ष्य समस्या के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना और यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और पर्यावरण हमेशा सुरक्षित रहे।

2. National Cancer Awareness Day 2022 is celebrated every year on 7 November in India. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer is the second most deadly disease that causes death among people. In the year 2020, 8.5 lakh people in India died of cancer. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan first announced National Cancer Awareness Day in September 2014. A significant step in the country against this deadly disease started in 1975 with the launch of the National Cancer Control Program which was started to facilitate cancer treatment in the nation.

Ø  भारत में प्रत्येक वर्ष 7 नवंबर को राष्ट्रीय कैंसर जागरूकता दिवस 2022 मनाया जाता है। विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के अनुसार, कैंसर दूसरी सबसे घातक बीमारी है जो लोगों में मृत्यु का कारण बनती है। तत्कालीन केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने पहली बार सितंबर 2014 में राष्ट्रीय कैंसर जागरूकता दिवस की घोषणा की थी। इस घातक बीमारी के विरुद्ध देश में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम 1975 में राष्ट्रीय कैंसर नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत के साथ उठाया गया था, जिसे देश में कैंसर के इलाज की सुविधा के लिए प्रारम्भ किया गया था।

3. Eminent art critic and scholar in fine arts Vijayakumar Menon died at a private hospital in kerala. He was 76. He authored many books on art. His important books include Adhunika Kaladarsanam; Ravivarma Padanam; Bharathiya Chitrakala-Irupatham Noottandil; and Bharathiya Lavanya Darsanavum Kala Parasparyavum. He translated many plays from foreign languages to Malayalam. Mr. Menon was a teacher at many art institutions.

Ø  प्रख्यात कला समीक्षक और ललित कला के विद्वान विजयकुमार मेनन का केरल में एक निजी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। वे 76 वर्ष के थे। उन्होंने कला पर कई पुस्तकें लिखीं थी। उनकी महत्वपूर्ण पुस्तकों में आधुनिक कलादर्शनम; रविवर्मा पदनाम; भारतीय चित्रकला-इरुपथम नूटंडिल; और भारथिया लावण्य दर्शनावम कला परस्पर्यवम हैं। उन्होंने कई नाटकों का विदेशी भाषाओं से मलयालम में अनुवाद किया था। श्री मेनन कई कला संस्थानों में शिक्षक थे।

4. In a first, the CRPF has appointed two women officers from its cadre as Inspectors General (IG) of its specialised anti-riots unit RAF and the Bihar Sector. This is the first time that the RAF will be headed by a woman IG. Both officers joined the paramilitary force in 1987 as the first batch of women officers. They have also commanded an all-women Indian police contingent at the UN. The CRPF was the first Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) to induct women in combat in 1986. It has six such battalions at present with women constables filling more than 6,000 posts in these.

Ø  पहली बार, सीआरपीएफ ने अपने कैडर से दो महिला अधिकारियों को अपनी विशेष दंगा-नियंत्रण इकाई आरएएफ और बिहार सेक्टर के महानिरीक्षक (आईजी) के रूप में नियुक्त किया है। यह पहली बार है जब आरएएफ का नेतृत्व कोई महिला आईजी करेंगी।  दोनों अधिकारी 1987 में महिला अधिकारियों के पहले बैच के रूप में अर्धसैनिक बल में शामिल हुईं थी। उन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में एक अखिल महिला भारतीय पुलिस दल की कमान भी संभाली है। सीआरपीएफ 1986 में महिलाओं को युद्ध में शामिल करने वाला पहला केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बल (सीएपीएफ) था। वर्तमान में इसकी छह ऐसी बटालियन हैं, जिनमें महिला कांस्टेबलों में 6,000 से अधिक पद हैं।

5. A wind turbine taller than the world's tallest Statue of Unity with blades spanning wider than the wingspan of a jumbo jet has been installed at Mundra in Gujarat by Adani New Industries Ltd as part of its renewable energy expansion plans. The turbine has been installed by Mundra Windtech Ltd (MWL), a wholly-owned subsidiary incorporated by Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL).

Ø  अडानी न्यू इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड ने अपनी अक्षय ऊर्जा विस्तार योजनाओं के अंतर्गत गुजरात के मुंद्रा में जंबो जेट के पंखों की से भी व्यापक ब्लेड के साथ विश्व की सबसे ऊंची स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी से भी बड़ा एक पवन टरबाइन स्थापित किया है। यह टर्बाइन मुंद्रा विंडटेक लिमिटेड (MWL) द्वारा स्थापित किया गया है, जो अदानी एंटरप्राइजेज लिमिटेड (AEL) द्वारा निगमित पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली सहायक कंपनी है।

6. Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, inaugurated India Pavilion at the 27th Session of Conference of Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27) Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The Conference of Parties (COP27) is scheduled from 6-18 November, 2022. India is hosting a pavilion with the theme of LiFE- Lifestyle for Environment at COP 27. The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi gave the mantra of LiFE to the world in 2021 at COP 26.

Ø  केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री, श्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने यूएनएफसीसीसी (सीओपी 27) शर्म अल-शेख, मिस्र के दलों के सम्मेलन के 27 वें सत्र में भारत मंडप का उद्घाटन किया है। पार्टियों का सम्मेलन (COP27) 6-18 नवंबर, 2022 तक निर्धारित है। भारत; सीओपी-27 में लाइफ-लाइफस्टाइल फॉर एनवायरनमेंट के विषय के साथ एक मंडप की मेजबानी कर रहा है। भारत के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2021 में ग्लासगो में सीओपी 26 में विश्व को 'लाइफ' के बारे बताया था।

7. A two-day enthralling and opulent dance drama based on the life of Raja Rammohun Roy, who is called the father of modern Indian society, concluded   today.  Titled 'Yugpurush Raja Rammohun Roy', the program was based on the theme 'Nari Samman', and is being organised by Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation of Ministry of Culture. Born on May 22, 1772 in Radhanagar, Bengal, Raja Rammohun Roy played a remarkable role in the religious, social and political reforms of India. He was the founder of Brahmo Samaj and always promoted modern and scientific approach.

Ø  आधुनिक भारतीय समाज के जनक कहे जाने वाले राजा राममोहन राय के जीवन पर आधारित दो दिवसीय मोहक और भव्य नृत्य नाटिका का समापन हो गया है। 'युगपुरुष राजा राममोहन राय' शीर्षक से यह कार्यक्रम 'नारी सम्मान' विषय पर आधारित था और संस्कृति मंत्रालय के राजा राममोहन राय लाइब्रेरी फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित किया जा रहा है। 22 मई, 1772 को बंगाल के राधानगर में जन्मे राजा राममोहन राय ने भारत के धार्मिक, सामाजिक और राजनीतिक सुधारों में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई। वह ब्रह्म समाज के संस्थापक थे और उन्होंने हमेशा आधुनिक और वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण को बढ़ावा दिया।

8. Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav became the first Indian player to score 1,000 T20 International runs in a calendar year. The batter accomplished this feat in his side's final Super 12 stage match against Zimbabwe at Melbourne. He scored 61 not out of just 25 balls, consisting of six fours and four sixes. In 28 innings this year, Suryakumar has scored 1,026 runs at an average of 44.60.

Ø  भारतीय बल्लेबाज सूर्यकुमार यादव, एक कैलेंडर वर्ष में 1,000 टी20 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय रन बनाने वाले पहले भारतीय खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं। इस बल्लेबाज ने मेलबर्न में जिम्बाब्वे के विरुद्ध अंतिम सुपर-12 चरण मैच में यह उपलब्धि प्राप्त की है। उन्होंने सिर्फ 25 गेंदों में छह चौकों और चार छक्कों की सहायता से नाबाद 61 रन बनाए। इस वर्ष 28 पारियों में सूर्यकुमार ने 44.60 की औसत से 1,026 रन बनाए हैं।

9. The country's biggest bank State Bank of India (SBI) has reported its highest-ever quarterly profit of 13,265 crore rupees for the second quarter ended on the 30th of September. The Bank's quarterly profit is 74 per cent higher than the 7,627 crore rupees reported in the year-ago period. The SBI's total income rose 14 per cent to 88,734 crore rupees in the reported quarter.

Ø  देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने 30 सितंबर को समाप्त दूसरी तिमाही में अब तक का सबसे अधिक तिमाही लाभ 13,265 करोड़ रुपये दर्ज किया है। बैंक का तिमाही मुनाफा एक वर्ष पहले की समान अवधि में प्राप्त किये गए 7,627 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 74 प्रतिशत अधिक है। समीक्षाधीन तिमाही में एसबीआई की कुल आय 14 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 88,734 करोड़ रुपये हो गई।

10. A total lunar eclipse will occur on 8 November, 2022. The next lunar eclipse which will be visible from India is on 28th October, 2023 and the same is a partial eclipse. Lunar Eclipse occurs on a full moon day when the earth comes in between the Sun and the Moon and when all the three objects are aligned. A total lunar eclipse will occur when the whole moon comes under the umbral shadow of the Earth and the partial lunar eclipse occurs when only when a part of the moon comes under shadow of the Earth.

Ø  8 नवंबर, 2022 को पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण होगा। अगला चंद्र ग्रहण; जो भारत से दिखाई देगा, वह 28 अक्टूबर, 2023 को आंशिक ग्रहण के रूप में दिखाई देगा। चंद्र ग्रहण पूर्णिमा के दिन होता है, जब पृथ्वी; सूर्य और चंद्रमा के बीच आ जाती है और तीनों वस्तुएं एक रेखा के अनुदिश आ जाती हैं। पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण तब होगा जब पूरा चंद्रमा पृथ्वी की छाया के अंतर्गत आ जाएगा और आंशिक चंद्र ग्रहण तब होगा जब चंद्रमा का एक हिस्सा पृथ्वी की छाया के अंतर्गत आता है।
