1.     Noted historian and former Vice Chancellor of Mangalore and Goa Universities Professor B. Sheik Ali passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru after a brief illness. He is a recipient of the Rajyothsava award and has authored a total of 23 books in English.

Ø प्रख्यात इतिहासकार और मैंगलोर और गोवा विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व कुलपति प्रोफेसर बी शेख अली का बीमारी के बाद मैसूर के एक निजी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया है। वह राज्योत्सव पुरस्कार के प्राप्तकर्ता हैं और उन्होंने अंग्रेजी में कुल 23 पुस्तकें लिखी हैं।

2.     Bhartaul has become the first village in Uttar Pradesh to achieve the distinction of supplying RO water to every household. Bhartaul is located in Bithiri Chainpur block of Bareilly. It has around 7,000 people and every household are provided with clean and safe RO water. The installation of RO has been under the Adarsh Gram Panchayat initiative enabling the Village to get access to clean drinking water.

Ø भरतौल, उत्तर प्रदेश का पहला गांव बन गया है, जिसने प्रत्येक घर में आरओ का पानी पहुंचाने का गौरव प्राप्त किया है। भरतौल, बरेली के बिथिरी चैनपुर प्रखंड में स्थित है। इसमें लगभग 7,000 लोग हैं और प्रत्येक घर को स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित आरओ पानी उपलब्ध कराया जाता है। आरओ की स्थापना आदर्श ग्राम पंचायत पहल के अंतर्गत की गई है, जिससे गांव को स्वच्छ पेयजल उपलब्ध हो सके।

3.     Private sector bank IndusInd Bank has announced its partnership with Asian Development Bank (ADB), a regional development bank catering to Asia and Pacific region, to create a partial guarantee programme to encourage supply chain finance solutions in India.  The initiative will have an initial outlay of $70 million (Rs 560 crore).

Ø निजी क्षेत्र के बैंक इंडसइंड बैंक ने भारत में आपूर्ति श्रृंखला वित्त समाधानों को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से आंशिक गारंटी कार्यक्रम बनाने के लिए, एशिया और प्रशांत क्षेत्र के लिए एक क्षेत्रीय विकास बैंक, एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) के साथ अपनी साझेदारी की घोषणा की है। इस पहल का प्रारंभिक परिव्यय $70 मिलियन (560 करोड़ रुपये) होगा।

4.     The first edition of “World Health Summit for Pride of Homoeopathy” was held in Dubai, with the theme “Diseases caused by climate change and global warming”. The summit aimed to educate and promote a homoeopathic system of medicine, drugs, and practices.

Ø दुबई में "होम्योपैथी के गौरव के लिए विश्व स्वास्थ्य शिखर सम्मेलन" का पहला संस्करण "जलवायु परिवर्तन और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण होने वाले रोग" विषय के साथ आयोजित किया गया। शिखर सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य चिकित्सा, दवाओं और प्रथाओं की होम्योपैथिक प्रणाली को शिक्षित करना और बढ़ावा देना था।

5.     The Centre has decided to grant a 60-day special maternity leave for women Central government employees in case of stillbirth or death of an infant within a few days of birth, an order by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Ø कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग ने एक आदेश में कहा कि केंद्र ने केंद्र सरकार की महिला कर्मचारियों के लिए 60 दिन का विशेष मातृत्व अवकाश देने का निर्णय लिया गया है, जो कि जन्म के कुछ दिनों के भीतर शिशु की मृत्यु के मामले में दिया जाएगा।

6.     In Ladakh, Leh town is all set to host the first-ever Mountain Bicycle, MTB, World Cup - the ‘UCI MTB Eliminator World Cup in India. Ladakh Police in collaboration with the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, the Cycling Association of India are organizing this International Cycling event in Leh town.

Ø लद्दाख में, लेह शहर भारत में पहली बार माउंटेन साइकिल, एमटीबी, विश्व कप - 'यूसीआई एमटीबी एलिमिनेटर विश्व कप' की मेजबानी करेगा। केंद्र शासित प्रदेश लद्दाख के प्रशासन के सहयोग से लद्दाख पुलिस और साइक्लिंग एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया लेह शहर में इस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय साइकिलिंग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर रही है।

7.     Shipping Corporation of India said Binesh Kumar Tyagi has taken over as its Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). Tyagi was heading the Liner and Passenger Services Division as Director (L&PS) since January 7, 2021 in the company.

Ø भारतीय नौवहन निगम ने कहा कि बिनेश कुमार त्यागी ने इसके अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक (सीएमडी) के रूप में पदभार संभालेंगे। बिनेश त्यागी 7 जनवरी, 2021 से कंपनी में निदेशक (एल एंड पीएस) के रूप में लाइनर और यात्री सेवा प्रभाग का नेतृत्व कर रहे थे।

8.     The Government of India will rename Delhi's Rajpath – extending from the Netaji statue to the Rashtrapati Bhavan – and the Central Vista lawns as 'Kartavya Path'. The government had announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely inaugurate the revamped Central Vista Avenue, stretching from the Vijay Chowk to the India Gate, on 8 September.

Ø भारत सरकार द्वारा दिल्ली के राजपथ; नेताजी की प्रतिमा से राष्ट्रपति भवन और और सेंट्रल विस्टा लॉन तक, का नाम बदल देगी और इसका नाम 'कार्तव्य पथ'किया जाएगा। सरकार ने घोषणा की थी कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 8 सितंबर को विजय चौक से इंडिया गेट तक फैले सेंट्रल विस्टा एवेन्यू का उद्घाटन करेंगे।

9.     Former President Barack Obama won an Emmy for his role narrating "Our Great National Parks," a Netflix documentary series about national parks.

Ø पूर्व राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा ने राष्ट्रीय उद्यानों के बारे में एक नेटफ्लिक्स वृत्तचित्र श्रृंखला "अवर ग्रेट नेशनल पार्क्स" का वर्णन करने वाली अपनी भूमिका के लिए एक एमी जीता।

10.India’s external debt grew by 8.2 per cent to over 620 billion US dollar at the end of March this year. The Union Finance Ministry's Department of economic Affairs has released the 28th edition of the Status Report on India’s External Debt 2021-22. According to it, India’s external debt was over 573 billion dollars at the end of March, last year.
