1.     A space consortium formed by Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) was awarded a Rs 860-crore contract for the next five Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles (PSLVs), pointing to the healthy growth and consolidation of the domestic space and satellite launch industry. It was announced on Monday during the inaugural session of the 7th Bengaluru Space Expo 2022.

Ø हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स (एचएएल) और लार्सन एंड टुब्रो (एलएंडटी) द्वारा गठित एक अंतरिक्ष संघ को अगले पांच ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान (पीएसएलवी) के लिए 860 करोड़ रुपये का अनुबंध दिया गया है। इसकी घोषणा सोमवार को 7 वें बेंगलुरु स्पेस एक्सपो 2022 के उद्घाटन सत्र के दौरान की गई है।

2.     Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully demonstrated a new technology with Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator (IAD). Designed and developed by ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), IAD is a game-changer with multiple applications for future missions including to Mars and Venus. The IAD was successfully test flown in a 'Rohini' sounding rocket from Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station.

Ø भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने इन्फ्लेटेबल एरोडायनामिक डिसेलेरेटर (आईएडी) के साथ एक नई तकनीक का सफलतापूर्वक प्रदर्शन किया है। इसरो के विक्रम साराभाई अंतरिक्ष केंद्र (वीएसएससी) द्वारा डिजाइन और विकसित, आईएडी; मंगल और शुक्र सहित भविष्य के मिशनों के लिए कई अनुप्रयोगों के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। आईएडी को थुम्बा इक्वेटोरियल रॉकेट लॉन्चिंग स्टेशन से 'रोहिणी' साउंडिंग रॉकेट के माध्यम से सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया गया था।

3.     In a unique and first-of-its-kind initiative, the Department of Science and Technology, DST has undertaken to set up India’s first-ever Night Sky Sanctuary in Ladakh. It will be completed within the next three months. The proposed Dark Sky Reserve will be located at Hanle in Ladakh as a part of Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary. It will boost Astro tourism in India and will be one of the world’s highest-located sites for optical, infrared, and gamma-ray telescopes.

Ø एक अनूठी और अपनी तरह की पहली पहल में, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, डीएसटी ने लद्दाख में भारत का पहला नाइट स्काई अभयारण्य स्थापित करने का लक्ष्य बनाया है। इसे अगले तीन माह में पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। यह प्रस्तावित डार्क स्काई रिजर्व, लद्दाख के हनले में चांगथांग वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के अंतर्गत स्थित होगा। यह भारत में एस्ट्रो पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देगा और ऑप्टिकल, इन्फ्रारेड और गामा-रे टेलीस्कोप के लिए विश्व के सबसे ऊंचे स्थानों में से एक होगा।

4.     As part of industry outreach by the Indian Army under the “Make in India” Initiative, a Startup Symposium was organised at Bengaluru on the 5th & 6th of September 2022. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to the civil industry to showcase their expertise, emerging technologies and developmental initiatives to support the defence forces. A total of 25 companies/startups with domain specialisation in Drones, Aviation, Artificial Intelligence, Communication, Surveillance and Manufacturing participated.

Ø "मेक इन इंडिया" पहल के उद्देश्य से भारतीय सेना ने उद्योग तक पहुंच कायम करने के प्रयासों के अंतर्गत, 5 और 6 सितंबर 2022 को बेंगलुरु में एक स्टार्टअप संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रदर्शनी से नागरिक उद्योग को सैन्य बलों को समर्थन देने के लिए अपनी विशेषज्ञता, नई प्रौद्योगिकियों और विकास संबंधी पहलों के प्रदर्शन का बेहतरीन अवसर प्राप्त हुआ। इसमें ड्रोन, विमानन, आर्टीफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, संचार, सर्विलांस और विनिर्माण में विशेषज्ञता रखने वाली कुल 25 कंपनियों/ स्टार्टअप्स ने भाग लिया।

5.     The opening ceremony for the 70th Tri-Services Cricket Championship was held at Railway Cricket Stadium at Visakhapatnam on 05 Sep 22. The championship is scheduled to be conducted from 05 Sep till 02 Oct 22 and will be played in various formats which include Four Day Test Cricket, One day and T-20 matches. The matches would be played simultaneously at GITAM University Cricket Ground and the Railways Cricket Stadium.

Ø 70वीं ट्राई सर्विसेज क्रिकेट चैंपियनशिप के लिए उद्घाटन समारोह 5 सितंबर, 2022 को विशाखापट्टनम के रेलवे क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में आयोजित हुआ। यह चैंपियनशिप 05 सितंबर से 02 अक्टूबर 22 तक आयोजित होने वाली है और विभिन्न प्रारूपों में खेली जाएगी, जिसमें चार दिवसीय टेस्ट क्रिकेट, एक दिवसीय और टी -20 मैच शामिल हैं। यह सभी मैच GITAM यूनिवर्सिटी क्रिकेट ग्राउंड और रेलवे क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में एक साथ खेले जाएंगे।

6.     India’s National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) and the UK Government in collaboration with BAE Systems successfully designed & conducted the Cyber Security Exercise for 26 Countries as part of the International Counter Ransomware Initiative- Resilience Working Group which is being led by India under the leadership of National Cyber Security Coordinator (NCSC).

Ø भारत के राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा परिषद सचिवालय (एनएससीएस) और यूके सरकार ने बीएई सिस्टम्स के सहयोग से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय काउंटर रैनसमवेयर इनिशिएटिव- रेजिलिएशन वर्किंग ग्रुप के हिस्से के रूप में 26 देशों के लिए साइबर सुरक्षा अभ्यास को सफलतापूर्वक डिजाइन और संचालित किया, जिसका नेतृत्व भारत के राष्ट्रीय साइबर सुरक्षा समन्वयक (एनसीएससी) के द्वारा किया जा रहा है।

7.     Union Agriculture Minister, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi Campaign 2022-23 today at NASC, Pusa, New Delhi.  Addressing the Conference, he highlighted that as per 4th Advance Estimates (2021-22), production of food grains in the country is estimated at 3157 lakh tonnes which is higher by 50 lakh tonnes than the production of food grain during 2020-21. Total pulses and oilseeds production during 2021-22 is estimated at record 277 and 377 lakh tonnes respectively.

Ø केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री, श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने NASC, पूसा, नई दिल्ली में रबी अभियान 2022-23 के लिए कृषि पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया है। सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि चौथे अग्रिम अनुमान (2021-22) के अनुसार, देश में खाद्यान्न का उत्पादन 3157 लाख टन होने का अनुमान है, जो कि 2020-21 के दौरान खाद्यान्न के उत्पादन से 50 लाख टन अधिक है। 2021-22 के दौरान कुल दलहन और तिलहन उत्पादन क्रमशः 277 और 377 लाख टन रिकॉर्ड होने का अनुमान है।

8.     The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Shri Piyush Goyal launched the US Startup SETU - Supporting Entrepreneurs in Transformation and Upskilling programme in the Bay Area of San Francisco. The initiative would connect start-ups in India to US-based investors and start-up ecosystem leaders with mentorship and assistance in various areas including funding, market access and commercialization.

Ø वाणिज्य और उद्योग, उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण और कपड़ा मंत्री, श्री पीयूष गोयल ने यूएस स्टार्टअप सेतु- ‘परिवर्तन और अपस्किलिंग कार्यक्रम में उद्यमियों का समर्थन’ का शुभारंभ किया है। यह पहल भारत में स्टार्ट-अप को यूएस-आधारित निवेशकों और स्टार्ट-अप पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के नेताओं को वित्त पोषण, बाजार पहुंच और व्यावसायीकरण सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में परामर्श और सहायता के साथ जोड़ेगी।

9.     Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and its PSU, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) announced the approval from DCGI for emergency use authorization first of its kind intranasal COVID-19 Vaccine to Bharat Biotech (BBIL).

Ø जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीबीटी) और इसके सार्वजनिक उपक्रम, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी उद्योग अनुसंधान सहायता परिषद (बीआईआरएसी) ने भारत बायोटेक (बीबीआईएल) को अपनी तरह के पहले इंट्रानैसल कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के आपातकालीन उपयोग प्राधिकरण के लिए डीसीजीआई से अनुमोदन-प्राप्ति की घोषणा की है।

10.The Uttarakhand education department launched an e-governance portal “Samarth”. This portal provides all administrative and educational updates including information about entrance exams, salary structures, and appointments from five state universities and 140 public schools. The initiative has been taken in a bid to make the education system more transparent in the state.

Ø उत्तराखंड शिक्षा विभाग ने एक ई-गवर्नेंस पोर्टल "समर्थ" लॉन्च किया है। यह पोर्टल पांच राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों और 140 पब्लिक स्कूलों से प्रवेश परीक्षाओं, वेतन संरचनाओं और नियुक्तियों के बारे में जानकारी सहित सभी प्रशासनिक और शैक्षिक अपडेट प्रदान करता है। राज्य में शिक्षा प्रणाली को और अधिक पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए यह पहल प्रारम्भ की गई है।
