1. Every year, February 7 is observed as Safer Internet Day. Safer Internet Day was an initiative led by the EU Safe-Borders project in 2004. Later in the year 2009, Safer Internet Day was introduced to strengthen bonds with countries. 

• प्रत्येक वर्ष 7 फरवरी को सुरक्षित इंटरनेट दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। सुरक्षित इंटरनेट दिवस वर्ष 2004 में यूरोपीय संघ की ‘सुरक्षित-सीमा परियोजना’ के नेतृत्व में शुरू की गई एक पहल थी। बाद में वर्ष 2009 में देशों के साथ संबंधों को मजबूत करने के लिए सुरक्षित इंटरनेट दिवस की शुरुआत की गई थी।

2. Electronics and Information Technology and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will launch the ‘Digital Payments Utsav’ in New Delhi. “Digital Payments Utsav" has been planned from for the promotion of Digital Payments across the country, with particular focus on G-20 Digital Economy Working Group event cities, namely Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru.

• इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और संचार मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव नई दिल्ली में 'डिजिटल भुगतान उत्सव' का शुभारंभ करेंगे। देश भर में डिजिटल भुगतान को प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करने के लिए "डिजिटल भुगतान उत्सव" की योजना प्रारम्भ की गई है, जिसमें जी-20 डिजिटल इकोनॉमी वर्किंग ग्रुप इवेंट से सम्बंधित शहरों, अर्थात् लखनऊ, हैदराबाद, पुणे और बेंगलुरु पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा।

3. The First G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group Meeting under India Presidency will begin in Bengaluru on 09th February 2023. Over 142 delegates from G20 countries and 19 member countries and the European Union, 25 from 10 guest countries and 21 representatives of international organisations are slated to meet and hold global discourse during the meet.

• भारत की अध्यक्षता के अंतर्गत पहली G20 पर्यावरण और जलवायु स्थिरता कार्य समूह की बैठक 09 फरवरी 2023 को बेंगलुरु में प्रारम्भ होगी। G20 देशों और 19 सदस्य देशों और यूरोपीय संघ के 142 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि, 10 अतिथि देशों के 25 और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के 21 प्रतिनिधि निर्धारित हैं। बैठक के दौरान वैश्विक प्रवचन को पूरा करने और आयोजित करने के लिए।

4. India to send one more C-17 planeloads of relief material, equipment & personnel to the earthquake-hit Turkiye under ‘Operation Dost’. Another C-130 aircraft carrying relief materials landed in Syria for carrying out rescue and relief operations.

भारत 'ऑपरेशन दोस्त' के अंतर्गत भूकंप-प्रभावित तुर्किये को राहत सामग्री, उपकरण और कर्मियों का एक और सी-17 विमान भेजेगा। बचाव और राहत कार्यों को संचालित करने के लिए राहत सामग्री ले जाने वाला एक अन्य सी-130 विमान सीरिया में भी भेजा जा रहा है।

5. President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the National Convention on ‘Women as Foundation of Value-based Society’ at the Om Shanti Retreat Centre in Gurugram on 9th Feb 2023. She will also launch an all-India awareness campaign ‘Empowering the Family’.

• राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू 9 फरवरी 2023 को गुरुग्राम में ओम शांति रिट्रीट सेंटर में 'मूल्य-आधारित समाज की नींव के रूप में महिलाएं' पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन करेंगी। वह अखिल भारतीय जागरूकता अभियान 'परिवार को सशक्त बनाना' का भी शुभारंभ करेंगी।

6. Veteran Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.  Akmal made his debut for Pakistan back in 2002 and went on to play until 2017. In 53 Tests, 157 ODIs and 58 T20Is, the right-handed batter scored 2648, 3236 and 987 runs respectively, with the help of 11 hundred and 27 fifties.

• पाकिस्तान के अनुभवी विकेटकीपर कामरान अकमल ने क्रिकेट के सभी प्रारूपों से संन्यास लेने की घोषणा की है। अकमल ने वर्ष 2002 में पाकिस्तान के लिए पदार्पण किया और 2017 तक जारी रखा। 53 टेस्ट, 157 एकदिवसीय और 58 T20 मैच में, दाएं हाथ के बल्लेबाज ने क्रमशः 2648, 3236 और 987 रन बनाए, जिसमें 11 शतक और 27 अर्धशतक शामिल थे। 

7. K Satyanarayana Raju has been appointed as its Managing Director and CEO. He will be replacing L V Prabhakar who demitted office on December 31, 2022. Raju had earlier served Canara Bank as Executive Director since March 10, 2021.

• के सत्यनारायण राजू को इसके प्रबंध निदेशक और सीईओ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। वह एल वी प्रभाकर की जगह लेंगे, जिन्होंने 31 दिसंबर, 2022 को यह पद छोड़ दिया था। राजू ने इससे पहले 10 मार्च, 2021 से केनरा बैंक में कार्यकारी निदेशक के रूप में काम किया था।

8. ‘IEEE C-DOT Certified Telecom Expert Program (ICCTEP)’ which was collaborated by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and C-DOT (Centre for Development of Telematics) has been launched during the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) Workshop centred on “Next Generation Connectivity” to bring learning in the areas of Telecom including 5G, Cyber Security and Quantum Communication to bridge the skill gap. 

• IEEE (इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इलेक्ट्रिकल एंड इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स इंजीनियर्स) और C-DOT (सेंटर फॉर डेवलपमेंट ऑफ टेलीमैटिक्स) के सहयोग से IEEE स्टैंडर्ड्स एसोसिएशन (IEEE SA) वर्कशॉप के दौरान 'IEEE C-DOT सर्टिफाइड टेलीकॉम एक्सपर्ट प्रोग्राम (ICCTEP)' लॉन्च किया गया है। यह कौशल अंतरालों को समाप्त करते हुए 5G, साइबर सुरक्षा और क्वांटम संचार सहित दूरसंचार के क्षेत्रों में सीखने के लिए "अगली पीढ़ी की कनेक्टिविटी" पर केंद्रित है।

9. The Union government notified the appointment of five new judges to the Supreme Court. With their appointments, the number of judges in the Supreme Court will rise to 32. Currently, the Supreme Court of India has a sanctioned strength of thirty-four Judges and is presently functioning with twenty-seven Judges.

   केंद्र सरकार ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में पांच नए न्यायाधीशों की नियुक्ति को अधिसूचित किया है। उनकी नियुक्तियों के साथ, सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में न्यायाधीशों की संख्या बढ़कर 32 हो जाएगी। वर्तमान में, भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में 34 न्यायाधीशों की संख्या स्वीकृत है और वर्तमान में 27 न्यायाधीश कार्यरत हैं।

10. Reliance Jio in collaboration with GSMA has unveiled a nationwide Digital Skill initiative. This collaborative effort intends to provide rural women and people from low-income groups with training based on their specific needs. The initiative is currently being implemented in 10 states with an emphasis on targeting women and underrepresented groups.

• GSMA के सहयोग से Reliance Jio ने एक राष्ट्रव्यापी डिजिटल कौशल पहल की शुरुआत की है। इस सहयोगी प्रयास का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण महिलाओं और कम आय वर्ग के लोगों को उनकी विशिष्ट आवश्यकताओं के आधार पर प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना है। यह पहल वर्तमान में 10 राज्यों में महिलाओं और कम प्रतिनिधित्व वाले समूहों को लक्षित करते हुए लागू की जा रही है।
