Exam Pattern:

Written Examination and Physical Test.

 Scheme of Phase-I Examination:

• Phase-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
• The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for the English/Hindi Language.
• The time allowed for the examination is 02 hours.
  
• Subject-wise details of No. of questions and marks are as follows:
• General Awareness / General knowledge: 25 questions-25Marks
• Knowledge of elementary mathematics: 25questions-25 Marks
• Analytical aptitude and ability to observe the distinguished patterns: 25 questions-25 Marks
• Basic knowledge of the candidates in English or Hindi: 25 questions-25 Marks

Essential Educational Qualifications:

For trades of Constable(Cobbler), Constable(Tailor), Constable(Washerman), Constable(Barber) and Constable(Sweeper) :

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;

(b) Must be proficient in respective trade;

(c) Must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by the recruitment board.

For the trades of Constable(Cook), Constable(Water Carrier) and Constable(Waiter) :

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;

(b) National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or from the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.

Age limit: 

• Candidate's Age must be between 18 to 25 years as on the last date of online application. 

Documents Required:

• Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the website of BSF Headquarters i.e. https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/
• The digital size of the photograph-30 to 100 kb, signature-20 to 50 kb, qualification documents 30 to 100 kb, and thumb impression should not be more than 50 KB.
• Photographs and signature must be clearly visible and the latest photographs must be uploaded. Format should be jpg, jpeg, or png formats
  

Application Fee:

• Candidates belonging to Un-reserved(UR), EWS category, or OBC category applying for recruitment to the posts shall have to deposit Rs. 100/- (One Hundred) only as examination fee plus Rs.47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC).
  
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee.
