Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the SSC MTS 2023 exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:
They must be a citizen of India.
They must have passed the 10th standard examination from a recognized board.
They must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and the maximum age of 25 years (as on August 1, 2023) for the MTS posts and 27 years (as on August 1, 2023) for the Havaldar posts.

From this year onwards, SSC will select the eligible candidates for SSC MTS & Havaldar posts through the selection process as tabulated below.

Application Process:
The application process for the SSC MTS 2023 exam will be online. Candidates can apply through the SSC website, ssc.nic.in. The application process will begin on July 1, 2023 and will end on July 21, 2023.

Exam Pattern:
It has also been confirmed in the SSC MTS notification 2023, SSC has changed the selection process and exam pattern for SSC MTS 2023 exam. From now onwards, there will be only one CBT for MTS posts for which the pattern has been updated and for Havaldar posts CBT and PET/PST exams will be conducted. The SSC MTS CBT exam has been divided into 2 sessions with 90 questions for 270 marks

Application Fees:
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2023 is Rs. 100/– for all categories except SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Salary:
The starting salary for an SSC MTS employee is Rs. 18,000 per month. The salary increases with the level of experience. The maximum salary for an SSC MTS employee is Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.
